How to remove a document preset

I created many of the predefined settings of document while opening a new document, but I can't understand how remove them, or find the file in the predefined folder.

I know this is something simple, but just can't get it done.

I'm on a windows 7 64 bit if she makes a diff.

Thanks in advance.

There are two different sets of presets. Since you mentioned the presets that you made at the opening of new documents, please follow the instructions below:

Go in file > new

This opens the dialog box new document. Click on the Preset tab, as shown below.

In the new document presets, I Select a preset , I did before, but now I didn't need.

Now with this custom preset selected, I can now press "Delete Preset", as shown below.

By selecting 'Yes' allows deletion.

Now, there are presets that Photoshop itself, and you can also remove those.

Go in Edit > Presets > Preset Manager

This opens the preset manager and you can Select the predefined type to find the preset you want to delete.

By pressing "Delete" , you can delete predefined parameters.

I hope this has helped answer your question. Please post back with other questions.

  • How to remove unwanted documents history?

I create an eBook in InDesign, saving on .pdf and adding multimedia content in Acrobat 9 Pro. The final .pdf file has a lot of redundant information stored in its metadata, including a complete list of information about each unique instance of the "saving" of the original document in InDesign, going right at the beginning. In a large document that I have which was built slowly over a long period, this list is now more than 400 pieces of long, and I can't find a way to remove it.

To find this kind of .pdf in Acrobat and look under the: file / properties / (tab Description) / (additional metadata button)

In the list in the left menu, select "Advanced".

Open the triangle marked media SMP management properties

Open the triangle marked xmpMM:History (seq container)

You can find a list of items, each of which represents a single instance of the original recorded in InDesign.

There is a "Delete" button is close, but not that what I choose, I can't not to do one of these things are deleted.

All of these additional data must be inflating the file, and I'm trying to reduce the size of the file. How can I get rid of this thing? (Do a "Save as...") "in the file origin InDesign help either, as you can imagine.

Do you already know Advanced menu > Optimize.

When the window opens ther should be a choice to remove these items. You may need to click on each item to see what you can actually remove or change.

  • How to remove the watermark presets when the file is missing.

Okay, so I've searched high and low on any search engine and forums looking for a solution to this problem, I had with removal of watermarks in Lightroom 4. I had a bunch of watermarks that I created to LR4 resulting attempt to redo a previously created watermark (why Adobe cannot replace I don't know) but instead to crush the LR4 selected watermark allows you to create a new preset changes. These changes build up over time and you sometimes end up missing or moved files. If these files are missing, then you can or can not running in my dilemma where when you select the watermark in an attempt to remove it, the right dialog box keeps disappears and nothing you do not seem to work. Don't dispear, here is a solution I discovered that I couldn't find elsewhere.

    1. open LR4 (not sure if it works with other versions)

    2. Select the print module (this seems to be the way the fastest, easier to access and modify watermarks)

    3. Select the checkbox next to the watermark under the "Page" pane on the right (this will let you select and edit individual watermarks)

4 Select the menu drop-down and select the watermark you want to change. The bot dialog box will open, but watch it vanish quickly in seconds, so here is my solution (at least until what Adobe corrects this problem). Grab hand over dialog box before it closed and hold the button for a few seconds, this will delay or stop close instantly.

    5. Select the pull down menu in the dialog box and choose Remove the watermark option, confirm that you want to remove, and voila!

Sorry for what actually so long, but I think the details may be more useful than you think, especially for people who are a bit technically challenged.

    CAIOs!

Thanks for posting that. The alternative is to go to the dialog box of Lightroom Preferences > Presets tab and press the button Show Lightroom Presets folder. You can then delete them directly from the folder of watermarks. You will find perhaps a little easier!

  • How do you remove the watermark preset in the file > export dialog box?

I'm new to Lightroom, but so far I like it. However, I'm trying to figure out how to remove the watermark preset in the file > export dialog box. I have some that are duplicates.

Open the Preferences of Lightroom window and select the Presets tab click the button labeled "Show Lightroom Presets folder...". It will open a window of type OS containing folders. Find the folder named Lightroom and it contains, you should also find a subfolder named 'Watermarks'. Your presets watermark must be in this folder.

  • InDesign CS5: How to remove or delete a preset of unwanted document?

I've been porting on my workflow in CS4, CS5, and yesterday I was adding a pre-defined customized document. When you save it, my fingers is triggered when you type in his name and accidentally hit the return key (instead of delete, after making another mistake!), so I now have a "Preset" with an incomplete name cluttering up the list. Is it possible to get rid of this? (Of course I saved the preset again with the correct name - that is not the problem.) I don't see anything about this in the documentation or on the forum.

File > Document presets > define...

Select what you want to delete and click Delete.

Sonny3301 answer worked for me, «...» "(The steps are: 1) download the Battery Doctor app on your iPhone (it's the first one that appears in the search) (2) hit the"Junk"icon on the bottom and tap 'Clear Cache'." (3) repeat until your space becomes available. The people that I learned this technique of some other bulletin board said it took 10-15 tries; It took me + 30 attempts. The memory savings start small at first, then it starts to hit hundreds of MB at a time. It sounds crazy, I know, but I went to have less than 200 MB of free space for 3.6 GB. Great thing, it was my podcast app had only been hogging to 1 GB of data, so the app battery doctor found 2.6 Go elsewhere. Good luck to you all and you are welcome. »

  • In Word 2002, how to remove a word to always document?

in Word 2002, how to remove a word permanently document?

You can delete the file through Windows Explorer system, for example to open My Documents, and then navigate to the location of the file. Right-click on the file and then click on remove. This will send to the trash, so it is not a permanent deletion. To remove the trash, open the Recycle Bin, right-click and delete it again, it will be then deleted perrmanently.

To by pass the trash hold down the SHIFT key when you click on delete. Instead of a warning while sending to the trash, you will see a warning about the final deletion.

    Hi CED,.

Thanks for posting in the Microsoft Community.

I'm sorry to know that you are facing a problem of unknown account. It would be useful that you can answer these questions to help you further.

    1. How do you know that it is an unknown account? You receive messages or error codes?

    2. where are the documents and multimedia files stored?

    3. have you made a recent software or hardware changes to the system?

If you are referring to an unknown account with a SID string, then try these steps and check if it helps.

    a. go to the folderwhere you saw this string SID.

    b. right-click and select Properties. Click the Security tab.

    c. If it is there, then click on the Edit button, then click the Remove button.

If you are told that you cannot delete this account because it is to be inherited, and then close the dialog boxes and set up a folder in the tree and repeat the procedure. Keep this up until you can remove the ""unknown account " SID in the permissions dialog box."

You can also check the suggestions provided by Marilyn O, moderator of the Forum on July 9, 2012 and check if it helps.

Important: The above link contains steps to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.

I'm an admin for our Organization. We have a number of clients and one of them uses Adobe sign and is configured as a group. When the users of the group responsible for the document templates, they gave the permissions for the entire organization. Now a couple of users in this group are inactive and are more employees of the client. How do I give permission to someone else in this group to change and/or remove templates? I am preparing for another client to use Adobe Control Panel and will put them up as a separate group. The problem is that they can consult the documents of their direct competitor.

Yes, you can access the account users to change/remove the documents following the steps outlined in the document.
