How to remove a program uninstalled my program list

I need help to remove a program that I installed and then uninstalled.  He remains in my program list and I want to be able to remove it.  It is intended to be discreet and since I share my pc with my spouse, I'm not her to see this program remaining on the list... It is not deletion after several attempts to uninstall... I don't know how to remove... Can anyone offer a suggestion to this procedure?

Hello

Try this:

If it is only partially removed, reinstall it, and then use the version FREE of Revo Uninstaller to remove it (it's good to remove a whole program):

  • I found the show/hide button toolbars, but you should know how to REMOVE toolbars that appear on this list?

I found the show/hide button toolbars, but you should know how to REMOVE toolbars that appear on this list?

Is attached a screenshot of my screen with the context menu to show/hide tabs. I want to delete some of them and let others. Please help me to know how. Thank you!

Hmm, maybe this "one-time" imported into the new preference? Try this:

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste the cust and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) double-click the preference of browser.uiCustomization.state and the content must be highlighted in a small dialog box.

    (4) copy the whole line and paste it into Notepad and save it as a backup.

    (5) in Firefox, click on the button '3-bar' menu > developer > Notepad. Remove the comment that appears and paste data preferably, that must appear on a long line. Click on the "Pretty Print" button to make it more readable.

So I hope that you can spot the extra toolbars and change them out, taking care to preserve the commas between the elements.

I don't have the extra toolbars in mine, but I copied and pasted back this spaced format and Firefox was able to handle it well. I went into customize and moved a button, and when I left, Firefox has rewritten the preference set as a single line. Assuming that yours works fine, then you can get rid of the backup from step (4).

  • How to remove startup programs in "msconfig".

First of all, care. Windows 7 Home Premium, SP1, 64-bit.

I'm not having the problem to disable startup programs, but trying to remove them from the list available to a start-up program. Some of these programs (the executable file of the command and its location) no longer exist on my system. Is there a way to remove these items in the startup list, and if so, how?

Unfortunately the only real way to do this is through the registry editor.

If you look at the line for the entry to remove it will track the path of the registry which organizes the statement. You need access to this location and delete the entry.

As always sophisticated editing that the registry should be done with caution and a backup taken 1. If you are not sure then do not.

There is a caveat. If you deleted the line (not checked it) then it will not be there. In order to stop this loading MsConfig moves the entry to an inactive backup key. In order to find the location, you will need to make the current line.

Because it has been moved it not treated during startup so other than to try to keep well stored, there is no specific does delete the line. Indeed, if the line points to a nonexistent file or a path then there no same effect if left. Registry of treatment so much more optimized in Windows 7 and entered orphan have no measurable effect on boot time. Delays of timeout that occurred were resolved.

  • How manage/remove startup programs in Windows 7

    Crikey!

You people are things made and actions 'hard '!

With "how manage/remove programs startup in Windows 7?",...

Everything I've ever done is to find the startup program (in the "All programs" list, have a good overview of what is there, then, VERY SIMPLY, remove those I don't want to open at startup.)

When THIS is done, the program (s), I have DELETED does NOT start.

    At the start, never!

    Period!

Some software packages will place their TITLE... at the beginning, without your consent.

And, it's 'how' I get rid of them. I have this same title... in the "All programs" list, in any case!

Autoruns is a great program for geeks, but for the average home user it generates so much information it can be a nightmare.

Stick to the MsConfig - Startup tab in a 1st time, but start in programs and features when cleaning. You don't need to worry about something in the boot if you can remove the program anyway.

Printer drivers HP is a good example. Many have their program of customer Participation and the consumables installation order plated on by default, but for the majority of users, as they are not necessary. Despite a message claiming that, on the contrary they do not affect printer operation at all.

  • How to remove the preferences of sanitize Site list?

What should I add to my userChrome.css file to remove the "site preferences" in the list of the disinfection in the menu history and preferences? I tried looking for him everywhere, I could think of and found nothing useful.

Why was this topic never registered in the first place? There is very little logic and SeaMonkey does not include it.

Hello finitarry, you could put this line in userChrome.css:

    listitem[preference="privacy.cpd.siteSettings"] { display:none!important; }

or use a locking file with:

    lockPref("privacy.cpd.siteSettings", false);
