How to remove automatic color "correction" in Lightroom?

I had a meeting this morning with a Canon IR-converted-rented 6 d, using a white balance custom from a photo.  The Preview on the correction of exposure and in the thumbnails of my Mac Finder display exactly how I want them: a dreamlike green-brown.  However, when I import the RAW files in Lightroom (or Photoshop), the program automatically sets on an effect terrible peachy that kills all the subtlety.  I'm going to click on a thumbnail to appear normal, and it will raise the color appropriate for a moment as says "Loading" popup... ", then my beautiful image is replaced by a peachy monstrosity.

I struggled with the sliders of Lightroom for hours, but I can't return the colors the way I shot them.  I tried upgrading to the latest versions of CC and no dice.  The colors look when I open JPG files that comes with it, but I'd rather be able to do my changes with the flexibility of RAW format.  And heck, I just want to understand the problem, to avoid similar problems in the future!

Thoughts?  Any input would be greatly appreciated!

This happens because the white balance slider is blends with 2000K. Of trouble with Lightroom and camera raw is it not to deal with what they think are non-physical white balance settings and simply attach them to the limits of the range that it considers reasonable. This is what causes your shift and cannot be corrected in Lightroom or camera raw. Never understood why these limits are there also that it affects not only infrared cameras modified but also under water and even photos taken in strange conditions as snow storms 9Voir example this 8 years ago! Jao photo blog: the Extreme white balance). The only solution I know is to create a custom profile that gives you a little extra range. You can do this by using the editor dng profile editor. Here's a tutorial for infrared cameras updated the: sing http://photography.tutsplus.com/tutorials/an-in-depth-guide-to-infrared-photography-proces--photo-9540. There are many on the web a quick google search away. I hope this helps.

Hmm. I got to ask questions of the pages for Mac screen, but it looks different from what I've seen in the past. So, I hope I'm in the right place. Over time, I selected some colors in the color popup in the character frame and saved.  I tried to change a color by changing the opacity. Then I tried to save this color has changed for the lines at the bottom of the pop-up window.  It did not work. I would have saved the color that appears in the large square on the left.  Anyway my question is how to remove these incorrect colors lines down.

    HI ehw.

This is the right place. He underwent extensive design of the overnight changes.

don't think that you can "erase" the colors that you place in the custom palette, but you can replace them easily using the same method the first time:

Set up color using the sliders or the color space, and then drag the big box and drop on the color you want to replace.

Here I replaced two red with white.

Interesting change of color of the header between the two images. Both are screenshots, the left using shift-control-command-4 then pasted from the Clipboard to an empty page in the Pages, the right is the actual color palette. Both were then with SHIFT-command-4 to maks a file that was then inserted here.

    Curious.

  • Automatic color correction with regard to the other layers

    Hello

This thread is about Photoshop Color Correction the edges of a layer corresponding to the next layer below. Please see the image define:

    Untitled1.jpg

I shot around 16 photos of the site above and less Photoshop > file > Scripts > load files into stack. After browsing and selecting my 16 stills, I checked "attempt to automatically align source Images". Above is the result. Photoshop fantascially aligned images, but because of the edges on separate layers, you can see the layers separately.

My question is, can somehow, Photoshop can automatically correct the colors of the edges of a single layer, referring to the sub layer.

    Thank you

    -Amstos.

After aligning, use Edit-> auto-merge layers...

    Hello world

I have an image that was previously on orange background. I removed from the bottom but the tonicity of the skin in the image always has a very distinct orange cast. The image below shows what the histogram of the image looks like.

I know that you are supposed to remove color casts using the Curves tool, but I don't know what I need to adjust based on the histogram.

Can someone tell me how to change the image to remove the orange of the face?

You can start with a solid color on the background and experiment with as multiply or overlay blending modes to add color and texture.  It is highly unlikely that there you will be able to reproduce the appearance of your image for example by simply correcting the color on a single layer. Blend modes are usually the key to transform the banal background in something spectacular images.

  • How to remove the model installed twice?

    Hello:

I have loaded more than once accidentally a few models and if they are repeated in the list (which is more annoying than anything at this point).

I checked the manual and it said just to go to any menu pops - up model then select the pattern and hold down the ALT key and click on (pointer turns into scissors) and the template is deleted.

Well, it has just worked for me.

I don't want to remove the bosses by going to program files programs > adobe > presets... or that of b/c I don't want a copy.

Is there a way to remove all of the list and then I can reload/import models again?

I tried to get rid of duplicates in the list using the Preset Manager, Import/Export Panel, and (of course) (see above) Alt + click on the name of the pattern without result.

Overall, I would just keep my organized models as well as the collection grows I'll be able to manage it better and more quickly find em.

Thank you in advance for your time Hope you are having a good day/night

OK, you and I are on the same page. Others tell you how to remove the color chart model instead of remove items from menu model.

The duplicate menu items will be the names of the files .pat twice in one of the many models folders where Photoshop search these files to populate the menus. You need to remove the superfluous .pat files then restart Photoshop to get rid of the duplicate menu items.

The paths of these records of models depend on the version of Photoshop. If you don't know how to locate them can validate your version of Ps and BONES.

  • Removal of the dominant color and color correction to match the reference documents? the tutorial/guides/videos

I searched some tutorials showing how to use SpeedGrade. I'm now comfortable with the UI enough to use after seeing these: http://www.youtube.com/user/AdobeTV/videos?query=speedgrade

I am looking for tutorials that explain how to do a couple of things, first of all, I want to be able to remove color casts. In photoshop to do this you can use a curves layer and the use of the whole white point color chart and click somplace that is supposed to be white. and to the Prime Minister, you could do something similar with the color correcting fast. So basically that I'm looking for a way to target an area within a framework that should generally be grays, in the Anime, the eyes always be shades of gray, is as well as what I would target usually when you work with anime in photoshop first. If anyone knows a tutorial that shows how to do this type of color cast removal color correction in SpeedGrade could you please share a link.

Some of anime the older 80 and 90 on the film, the film has aged and that's where the color cast came. There is also a loss of color information in all areas. For example in the image below. Heaven is supposed to be blue instead of green teal/sea.

Another thing is back in the 80s and 90s many anime worked limited color palletes; something like maybe 16 colors in total, so many colors are used repeatedly. Thus, even with only a limited amount of reference material, I'd be able to get the corrections close. (I have no clips of reference for every single episode, only a handful of scenes from a handful of episodes).

I have a few reference documents showing approximately what should be the color. So, my next question is if anyone knows of any tutorials/guides/videos showing how to use SpeedGrade to color correct a clip so that the colors match the colors used in a reference element

I was also wondering on automatic correction based on an element of reference, although I'm guessing that this isn't always possible.

When I looked at the websiminar: http://seminars.adobeconnect.com/_a227210/p738pxm9zs0/ about 43 minutes into it, a feature is shown that automatically adjust the color with a clip that contains a colorchart.

I was wondering if a tool like that could analyze a start to clip at the end, to create a palette of colors used, and then compare that to the colors used in another clip and correct them. (a feature like this would be probably more useful/precise in anime that it would be long, but who knows.)

Another question related to the user interface:

I had a question, the only place where I see to access the colorwheels is in appearance, my video tab, I'm trying, just manages to adapt to 100% in the monitor.

So I prefer to hide or reduce the different looks (maybe even with a keyboard shortcut) so that I can access the color tools it covers, I've attached a picture of what I'm talking about. I know pressing 'P' cache at the bottom and thought that maybe it already is a way to hide/minimize/reduce the aspect presets to access the tools behind them without narrowing down the size of the preview screen.

    image host

It's a hard thing to do. SpeedGrade has an estimator of the matrix which aims to draw a camera shot in reference, but it only works if there is a graph of Macbeth in the framework - and you of course that.

Short of writing a custom plugin, you will have to do it by hand - if there is a true 'gray' in the framework then the pickers for the 3WCC/FCC in first allows you to get the right temperature, and black/white levels can be removed to the limit with their pickers (assuming that something on one of the frames is supposed actually to be black or white). Fix nonlinear cast where the RGB layers are each affected by different curves is a much more complex process, and not automatable in everything I know. However, once the white point Beach and brightness are attached, you can still make some visual adjustments of the balance on a range of colors with secondary correction tools in the 3WCC.

If you use the first and you want more help with these tools, please ask in the Premiere Pro forum.

  • Color correction in Pro (remove a color cast)

One thing I've never understood how, if you can do it at all, is the correction of simple colours in first.  Generally, I have to settle things with a combination of automatic level, self-colour, mix with the original and Image control RGB to get things just for a few UW shots.

In Photoshop, there is a feature called "remove a color cast" where you simply click a portion of the fixed picture that should be white, then photoshop fixes the color on the whole picture so that the thing you clicked on is white and all the rest is adjusted accordingly.  On many scenes, it is the perfect color correction.

Is there something in the Pro which is the rough equivalent to remove a color cast in photoshop?  If so, how does one access and use this feature?

    -Roger Uzun

Remove a color cast is simple relative:

    Add the fast color corrector.

Sample an area with the White Balance eyedropper"while holding the CTRL key down which is supposed to be white.
