How to remove options open all in tabs from the bookmarks menu

Hello

I have Firefox 17.0.1.

Is it possible to remove or disable the all open at the point of tabs in the bookmarks menu submenus? I chose during it by mistake, and a lot of unwanted tabs appear as enraged politicians.

Thank you.

Jack

You can set the pref to 1 browser.tabs.maxOpenBeforeWarn on the topic: config page in order to get a warning in such cases (works with one click setting on a folder).

You can add this code in the file userChrome.css below default @namespace.

Customization files (interface) userChrome.css and userContent.css (Web sites) are located in the chrome folder in the user profile folder.

@namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* only needed once */

#PlacesToolbarItems .openintabs-menuitem,
#placesContext>menuitem[id="placesContext_openContainer:tabs"],
#placesContext>menuitem[id="placesContext_openContainer:tabs"]:not([hidden])+menuitem+#placesContext_openSeparator {visibility:collapse!important}

What did you do last before this happened?

It looks like someone may have maliciously tampered with your computer.

Take a look in your trash and see what you can find.

If they are not there, try to download and run this program:

  • How to open a new tab from the window with a single white (or other)?

I'm embarrassed to ask what should be a simple question. I want to open a new window without containing all of the tabs in my homepage - a single tab, empty, or Mozilla or Google or something. I'm tired of having to close manually the 30 - something tabs in my homepage.

    Several solutions for this.
(I am not sure you are trying to do or to prevent).

    • change what's in your homepage

      • set to open only a couple of tabs and one of those who make a blank page
tabs are separated by the vertical bar that is vertical (possibly split) symbol |
    • Open your previous tabs instead of the whole home page
    • change the options to open new sites in a new window instead of a new tab

  • Why is there no option to all my music in the VIEW menu?

I have an iTunes subscription game, so that I can access all my music from all my devices. Until very recently, it worked well, but now that one of my devices (a white MacBook) seems to have lost access. On my MacBook Air, under the iTunes VIEW menu, there are two options: all my music, or just the downloaded music and I can choose which of them to access. But on the white MacBook, these options do not appear. Instead there is an option for iCloud see music purchases, allowing me to access music on the computer, or just buying iCloud. But I can not access my music in the cloud at all.

This is a recent development: before, my cloud music appeared. I am connected with the same account on both machines. As far as I know, the white MacBook is allowed.

Should I try out allowing and then re-authorizing the white MacBook?

Re-authorizing can help out you. And your white MacBook is compatible with the latest version of iTunes?

I did a "search forum" and has not found the solution to my problem, so I apologize if it's here somewhere under a different title. I looked on the microsoft site itself, as well as Google search. Here's my problem:

I am trying to install a new font, but do not have the option in the file menu of police record. It's just not there. I am running Windows 7.

Thanks for any help you can give!

Too bad! I googled some more and found my answer.

For those who overlook the obvious like me, once you download a new font, open it, and there is a button 'install new font' just there. Yay!

  • "Open containing folder" missing from the context menu

When I do a search, I want to right click on a result and open the containing folder.  But for some reason any, since I had a Windows 7 machine, this option is not - or "Opened" or "open file location". Is it possible to get it back?

No, it does not appear in the context menu in Windows Explorer.  That's the problem.

I found that pressing the Shift while clicking on gives a different context menu that does not contain the option. I have no idea why it does not appear in the contextual menu.

  • How to remove "Open all in tabs" when just by clicking a folder in the bookmarks toolbar?

I'm trying to customize firefox for a disabled person with a very poor motor skills in her fingers. It relies heavily on the records tab bookmarks, but due to his disability, he often accidentally right click and select the option "Open all in tabs" while trying to click on the folder itself. Is it possible to remove or at least disable the option "open all in tabs"? Thank you.

  • "Open All In Tabs" behavior is unpredictable

When I use the option "Open all in tabs" in a folder of bookmarks, sometimes it will open all bookmarks in the 'new' tabs and sometimes it will reuse open tabs, superimposing the currently opened pages. This option should always be used the tabs 'new '.

In my view, that it is a problem experienced. Bookmarks will be opened, by default, on the current tab. If you open "all in tabs", they will appear on the new tabs only if they need more tabs to open... I don't know exactly how this happens, but it's a known issue, I think.

  • Why Firefox doesn't save my tabs from the previous session although I chose to do it in the options?

Firefox does not save my tabs from the previous session, although I have chosen in options, to save my tabs from the previous session.

Firefox 4 saves the previous session automatically, so it is no longer necessary for the dialog box asking if you want to save the current session.

Use ' file > exit ' or ' Firefox > output "If you want to restore multiple windows.

You can use "Firefox > history > restore previous Session ' to get the previous session at any time.

There is also a button 'Restore previous Session' on the default on: Home home page.

    Another possibility is to use:

Make sure that you do not remove the navigation, search and download history on Firefox to clear the browsing history when you close Firefox.
