  Note that this command only deletes the references to the path specified in the checkpoint file. It does not remove trail files themselves. To delete the path, use the commands of standard operating system for the removal of the files.

  REMOVE REPLICAT 538D

  Removal of the extract and Replicat will remove checkpoint files but leaves intact parameter files, so you can then re-create the groups as you wish.
