How to revoke all privileges on a public synonym of a user in 9i?

you know the difference between PRIVATE and PUBLIC means?

Public synonyms are accessible to all users.
Private is accessible only inside its schema.

If you do not want this user, use this synonym drop it and create a synonym in other schemas where users need.

    Hi Gary,.

    You are probably aware of the SQL syntax of base to make grant and revoke of SQL * more or the SQL Developer Worksheet:

    grant select on .T to ;
revoke select on .T from ;

    To reach the equivalent to revoking of SQL Developer Connection Navigator...
    1. open the connection for
    2 expand the Tables node, and then open the object for table T browser.
    3. click on the grants tab and then, in its toolbar, select Actions->-> Revoke privileges
    4. Select in the drop-down list of the dialog box to remove user Action.
    5 shuttle privilege SELECT from the right back to the left, and then click apply.

    One would expect to be able to do the same thing from say the node under the node for the use of the SYSTEM for other users, but this isn't the case.

    Hi all!

    Ive has had not long ago the camileo s20, so always try to get mt mind around it. I think that Ive managed the basics but im having a problem with the game back.

    When I recorded a video - 6 minutes long, but I stop recording half back way through, then go to start recording where I left, while playing back it will play the movie sepratlely and manually I have to start the other half of the video to play.

    Is there anyway I can just click play and it plays all my videos continuously? a play all the setting?

    First of all, I can recommend consulted the user manual. It contains a lot of information on your camera and how to use all the features.

    I checked the user manual, but unfortunately I think that such a reading function isn't available. With the play button, you can switch to playback mode and use the left and right button to go to the next picture/movie.

    But there is no function on playback of videos.

    You will have no SQL in the audit trail, because you have not configured the parameter correctly. You must audit_trail = db, extended to get the SQL code.

    2. the date and time on which the statetement GRANT was pulled

    You will have anything unless you have enabled auditing for the instruction given with
    Check create public synonym;

    How can we find it?

    You can't until you configure the audit in an appropriate manner.

    It is no way - by definition - that a user can 'ownership' of another schema. A schema is, by definition, the collection of objects that belong to one owner.

    but it's maybe just semantics in the context of what you really want.

    Use sql to generate the sql:

    The following configuration variable is probably what you are looking for:

    AuthorDelete = false

    This will make content authors be like other normal users and will not let the items removed by the authors.

    It is defined in the file config.cfg ucm, but if folders_g was active then you need to change in config.cfg under /ucm/cs/data/components/folders as well.
