How to run SQL "Issued" BI answers using a query tool?

How take the 'SQL Issued' in the tab 'Advanced' in demand in BI answers and run its equivalent on the tables of the database, by using a tool like in SQL Developer?

For example, BI answers shows "SQL to show" of:

SELECT Team2. Team2 PIF"saw_0, an2. "' Year ' saw_1, Cube2.Hr saw_2
OF 'AW_BALL2 Cube2.
WHERE Year2.Decade = '2000's
ORDER BY saw_0, saw_1, saw_2

How translate this into something that will run in SQL Developer and show me the same data that takes demand? Thank you.

the SQL code that you quoted is the SQL logic.
It was sent to presentation services through ODBC to the BI server, which translates using the RPD in 'real' SQL, which is fire to the database.
As said, you need for the level of logging to see the 'real' SQL that runs the BI server... This in the administration in respect of security tool. See the Administration Guide for more information.

FWIW, if you really want to run SQL that you mentioned and then launch an ODBC client (Microsoft query, TOra, etc.) and direct him to a system DSN you set type Oracle BI pointing to your Oracle BI server.

  • How to get SQL that do not use bind variables

    Hello

    I am trying to identify the SQL code which should benefit from the use of bind variables.
    First of all, I tried to get the common signature of all the sql calls, using:
    select * from (
    select  force_matching_signature, count(1) from v$sql where force_matching_signature<>0 group by force_matching_signature order by 2 desc
    ) where rownum < 50;
    Then I copied these values to the Clipboard and run:
    select sql_text from v$sql where force_matching_signature=<<<copied_signature_value>>>;
    Now, I want to make it automatically and get only 1 occurrence of each SQL that resembles others by using a query.

    I tried this:
    select sql_text from
    (
    select sql_text, force_matching_signature, row_number() over (partition by force_matching_signature order by sql_text desc)rn from v$sql where force_matching_signature <>0
    )where rn <2 and rownum < 10 order by force_matching_signature desc
    But it is not returning results by showing up at the count (1) from the first query, I've used. How can I change this if I get the results in order of "importance"?

    Thank you

    And I said. First use the command by then use rownum. I did not mention row_number. Also, there should be no need to add more columns.
    Have you tried it? Why it did not work?

    example not tested

    select * from (
       select sql_text from (select sql_text, force_matching_signature, row_number() over (partition by force_matching_signature order by sql_text desc) rn from v$sql where force_matching_signature != 0)
       where rn = 1
       order by force_matching_signature desc /* add any ordering you like here */
       )
    where rownum < 10 /* then filter on the first 10 results */

    If you want to order that the statement that found most of the time comes first, say so. However, I don't see how to group in your case.
    Maybe like this

    example of tested

    select * from (
       select cnt, sql_text
       from (select sql_text, force_matching_signature, row_number() over (partition by force_matching_signature order by sql_text desc) rn , count(*) over (partition by force_matching_signature) cnt
             from v$sql
             where force_matching_signature != 0)
       where rn = 1
       order by cnt desc, force_matching_signature desc /* add any ordering you like here */
       )
    where rownum < 10 /* then filter on the first 10 results */
    ;

  • How to run SQL and export the results to Excel

    My task is to run a custom SQL script and create an Excel file through SQL Developer running from the command line (called by a scheduled script). Is this possible using SQL Developer?

    First, the thing I will try is to run a report user-defined in SQL Developer and save the results in an Excel file. Only 16000 result lines, but took 10 minutes to do the export and still cannot complete. Is there another way to do it?

    Thank you very much.

    Can't be done, but this is requested already exchanging SQL Developer, you can vote here and add weight to the possible future implementation.

  • How to run several motors in parallel using NI 9501

    I want to run three engines at the same time using NI c series module and compac rio 9501 9074 with the example built in open loop speed control...

    I need to change in the code than anything... Actually, I copied the same fpga code and change the setting of... motor module work but for engine 2 when I try to disable its player it disables the engine 1. do I need to change something in the code of RT too?

    Hi SaraBaber,

    Thanks for posting. You need to change the FPGA code and code in real time. In the FPGA code, you must copy the contents of the State of the drive another loop 2 times (it is not necessary to do another 2 while loops, just do while loop larger to include additional code) and replace the modules modules 2 and 3. Similiarly for RT code, you can copy existing code, once 2 wiring additional two paths to the same "Open FPGA VI reference" and "Close FPGA VI reference. You also need to update read/write for the second and third motor controls.

    I hope this helps!

  • OIM 11 g - how to run a task scheduled by using APIs

    Hi all

    Can I know how can I run a job schedule in OIM 11 g via API. I mentioned the link below but it is for version 9.x. I need the same functionality in 11g?

    Schedule tasks

    Thanks in advance.

    Check this box:

    SchedulerService schService = oimClient.getService (SchedulerService.class);
    schService.triggerNow round demo Scheduled Task");

    QAnywhere:

    Sub triggerNow (java.lang.String jobName)
    get SchedulerException,
    SchedulerAccessDeniedException

    Runs the specified job
    Parameters:
    jobName - the work that needs to be triggered
    Throws:
    SchedulerException - when an error occurs in the Quartz engine or Scheduler is not running.
    SchedulerAccessDeniedException - this exception will be thrown if the access permission for the operation is not available for the user

  • How can improve on the slow update using the query / * + NO_XML_DML_REWRITE * /?

    We have an update query recently brought to my attention that turns very slowly on Oracle 11.2.0.1 against a secure XML binary files table using

    Update / * + NO_XML_DML_REWRITE * / set object_value = croutreach.action: 1 where actn_id =: 2.
    I am told the majority/close to the majority of the ~ 16 fields are updated. This table has also many predefined virtual columns with index fn based on them.

    My first inclination was to this redesign using updatexml Oracle. I was told, the / * + NO_XML_DML_REWRITE * / index would also be required here.

    Update / * + NO_XML_DML_REWRITE * /.
    < tble_name > a
    Set a.object_value = updatexml (a.object_value...).

    Last year our dba have been mandated by Oracle Support to use this trick, as the update has not been updated off any msgs of error records.

    + 1. Hoping to find out if anyone met with this indication in some capacity and what has their experience been? +

    Trying to optimizie this update statement, I'll start from scratch is not using the / * + NO_XML_DML_REWRITE * / hint and will take effect in using the updatexml with establishing a xmlindex.

    + 2. Hoping to receive suggestions on creating the good xmlindex - find an informal index. If getting a few good performance with the xmlindex; in an attempt to remove some of the use of the virtual column. +

    + 3. Any suggestions on living with virtual columns in conjunction with xmlindexes? See the definition of table action and Associates ivirtual columns and indexes. This picture seems more indexed... +.

    Any suggestions much appreciated.

    Kind regards

    Hi Rick,

    Thanks for adding the sample.

    First note: you use namespaces by default, different in the example of XML and the request - this a misspelling due to your mask real names?

    In any case, I see two problems with the UPDATE statement:

    (1) unless it is really part of the id, do not double-cover the value:

    @id="'888a80be-d69f-464d-b3f7-85b6209f918e'"

    must be:

    @id="888a80be-d69f-464d-b3f7-85b6209f918e"

    or as a variable binding (see below)

    (2) just like other XML features, XMLExists supports the names. You must declare any namespace as you lower to use XQuery in the expression (in this case, the default namespace).

    It works for me:

    SQL> create table action of xmltype
      2 xmltype store as securefile binary xml
      3  ;

    Table created.

    SQL> insert into action
      2  values (
      3   xmltype('
      4
     13     abcdefghijklmnop
     14     qrstuvwxyz
     15
     16        urn:coderunner:Medical:Definition:ServiceService:11111:7
     17
     18 Access Profile~Why did you access the profile?~Reason for access?
     19
     20
     21  ')
     22  );

    1 row created.

    SQL> commit;

    Commit complete.

    SQL> UPDATE action
      2  SET object_value =
      3      updatexml( object_value
      4               , '/action/@status'
      5               , 'triggered'

     11                   )
