  • Save Attachment of email

I need to know where windows saves files that have been opened to the email.

I went in my email (hotmail) and selected a file as an attachment.

A message box will open below and asked if I wanted to open or save the file. I chose open. I've made changes to the document and click on save button. I closed it and word has not promt to save me before that so I know he saved somewhere

but I can't find ANYWHERE, its ridiculous. I tried the search bar in windows, I tried the temporary internet files, I still couldn't find it. I opened it again to my e-mail to see where it woud save but it is not in this folder. and I think it's because I asked to open, I don't save it manually. It seems theres a diff between just by clicking on the save icon and the option "Save as." can someone please tell me if it never review my file.

    Hi guest2564,

When you download an attachment, a prompt message appears and asks if you want to Open or Save it to a specific folder. If you choose to save in a specific folder (for example: My Documents, my pictures) you need to switch to this folder, and then click on record.

Also, depends on the browser you use as in Google Chrome if you download a file, it will automatically go through below download manager of your screen.

For more information, I suggest that you go to the help section of your browser if it is a 3rd part of the browser.

    Thank you.

  • How to save a video file on sd card or synchronization on pc/youtube

Hello! I got the Droid since the beginning of the year and a few times where I recorded a video and tried to post on YouTube I always said 'Network error has no' even though I am clearly in a Wifi network. Is this because my phone expires before the video can finish loading? because they are 5 + minutes or is something more going on here? Super frustrated...

While I tried to sync my phone to laptop Dell and get the video from there, and even after that I have 'mount', there is no files that open up on my Gallery. And I tried to save it on my memory supplied with the phone, but when you hold down on the video it comes even as an option 'share '. I can't email myself because the file is too large and I really need to get a video I recorded on it for school work.

    HELPPSSSS! THANKS THANKS THANKS YOUUUUUUU

I can't post on YouTube, but if you have recorded the video on the phone, it will be quite easy to explain how to get it on your computer.  Once the phone is attached to your computer simply browse through the folder: folder DCIM/camera.  This is where the file will be located.  All photos and videos that are taken on the phone are saved in this folder.  Now drag and drop one you want on the computer.  I hope this helps.

Save it to the place where? For what purpose? As long as you do not remove it, it should remain in your email. You can move it to a folder by tapping on the icon of the folder at the bottom of the screen as you watch the email. You may also copy and paste Notes, take only a screenshot that would be in your Photos. You could transfer to a remark like Evernote service.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Email attachments - how to save an attachment to the device memory or media card?

I have a BlackBerry 8310 Curve, which we got up to speed up our translation services.  the thing is that we have received a document attached, and we could not know how to SAVE the attachment to either the memory card or peripheral support, which would then allow us to transfer it directly to the laptop to work on.

The temporary solution we found was to convey the message to a different email address and download it to your computer. For some reason any later we could not attach the document to email the map of media either, so we had to email from the laptop to the blackberry, and then forward it to the client.

    So, my questions are:

How to save an attachment to an e-mail message OR the card memory or device support?

How can I attach a document to an email when ATTACH it to does not display the file in the folder? (of course I've already put it there)

    and as a side note

Why I could open the email attachment I had forwarded to the blackberry, but I could not open the original document (the two word .doc) sent customer e-mail.

    Hello!

Thunderbird has no way of native to do, but you might consider the AttachmentExtractor for Thunderbird Add-on.

Once it is installed, you can select all the emails that you want to download the parts attached and right click then click on "extract selected Messages to' > 'Browse (0)' and then choose the directory you want to save the attachments to.

I hope that solves your problem!

If so, would you please choose this answer as your solution? It would help other users of Thunderbird to find help on the forums faster and more efficiently. Thank you!

And of course, feel free to post if you need help!

  • How to save the image to an email in the mail application

Original title: save the image in the email

How to save a photo to an email? When I hold down the image, the only option is to 'copy '; There is no 'Save' function available.

    Hey Lucent,

Thanks for posting your query in the Forums RT in Microsoft Windows. If I understand you correctly, you have a problem with saving an image with the mail application. I understand that it must be frustrating, but don't worry, we are here to help solve your problem and guide you in the right direction.

In the Mail application, you wouldn't be able to do differently than the option to right click functions. The dialog box you get with the "save image under" comes to a browser. If you use Internet Explorer to check email, you'll get the option to click with the right button on a photo. In the Mail app if you want to download an image that was attached to the email, you can click on the picture to download and click it a second time to get the options to open or save.

    1. what version of Windows is installed on the computer?

    2. What mail client do you use?

3 - is customer e-mail based on the web or Microsoft Outlook client?

Usually, you can right click on what you want to move my documents and then click SAVE LINK as... If it's an email that you have open, you can click SAVE the IMAGE under... This will bring up a box.

Ensure that my Documents is in the box SAVE in. If it's not click on the arrow down on the right side of this box and My Documents should be there... Click on it and it will end up in the box.

The file that you want there should already be in the FILE NAME box at the bottom. If you want to change the name just highlight... it... Rename .delete it and then click SAVE and it puts this file in My Documents.

You use Windows Live Mail?  If so, it seems that you have enabled the
    option of aggregates by "Conversation".
On the view tab, click Conversations, Off.

To save a message to your hard drive, click the icon without label to the left
of the House, then save, save as a file.
