How to scan/copy options printing?

I do not have the manual and only Print - all of a sudden I don't have Scan or copy and nothing I've done helps

Hey Avanti07,

What printer model HP do you have?

When you try to find these options? (computer screen or printer)

How the printer is connected to the PC? (USB, ethernet, wireless)

What is the operating system of the PC? (Windows 7, Windows Vista, Mac OS 10.8, etc.)

What program you are trying to print from?

Welcome to the HP community @robert3591,

I read your post want to print in black ink only, from your Deskjet 3520 and how, you do not select this option, every time you print from your Windows Vista system.

I would say to change the option to print in black ink only from "Devices and printer" to contain the parameter always print in black. This is a great detailed post from my colleague @X-23 , which shows all the instructions and screenshots:

Re: I want to only print in black ink

  • How to scan photos from printer to PC?

Computer home just brought a new HP and want to scan photos on my HP 6600 printer on computer.  I connected them by cable instead of using wireless.  What is the sequence to scan a picture on the screen of the printer to the computer image file?

Manual of the printer, not the computer. The entire process is managed by the printer via the software installed on the PC.

Here is a link to the manual, if your HP6600 is a series of OfficeJet all-in-one:

How to use windows scan with my new canon MX 922 printer.  It is conncected and copying and printing but can't seem to use the windows scan option, the cannon that which for me is slow thanks

All in one, type printers (print, copy, scan) usually have a very specific set of instructions during the installation.  If not followed exactly the probability is that the scanner will not work.

    Canon: http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer

Download and read the Setup instructions for your model, have you followed the instructions exactly, more precisely when to connect the printer / scanner during installation of the software process?

  • How to cancel the option "copy of documents before printing?

I bought a HP Officejet Pro 8600. When I was setting it upward, I clicked an option that said I could copy all documents before printing. Thanks for your help! I'm fiddling around with it the other day, and in some way, I solved the problem. So it is no longer a copy before printing - success!

  • OfficeJet Pro 6830: Printer OfficeJet Pro 6830 how to scan to PDF files

I bought a HP OfficeJet Pro 6830, and I can't understand how to scan documents from the printer to my computer in PDF format. It analyzes only in JPEG format.

The documentation I found online says that the PDF option should be present on the touch screen, but are the only options on my printer to scan to the computer, fax scan, scan to e-mail, etc..

I have 10 windows and a new HP laptop.

    Can anyone help?

    Hello

    Thanks for your comments.

The disc that came with the printer may or may not have the support to win 10 OS as the priter was launched before Win 10 is available - where the download URL would be a safer way to get the WIn 10 OS feature MANY software.

We recommend that you download (save on the hard drive) rather than installing in online it.

After you install the FULL features software, you will be able to scan in PDF format.

    Hope that helps.

    Hi @szekelya,

I see by your post that you would like to know if you can scan to be sent from the printer display. I can help you with this.

With this model, you can scan from the printer to the computer, there is no option for scanning to email from the printer.

I have provided a document for how Scan: from the control panel.

Here is a document for scanning the computer. Scan.

Just select your operating system. There is a section for scanning to e-mail, via the HP software.
