How to scan so that the white paper shows that white is blue not?

Is there some kind of tweak I can do so that when I scan in color, the white paper analyses as white, not blue or yellow light?

Thank you.

Most likely, you will need to correct the color after scanning.

Scanners do not have the same sensitivity of color under your eyes and will not see everything the same as you do it.

And scanners don't adapt to the colors as you (they will see the journal as gray on gray, while you see in black and white).

Try to use the white eyedropper in levels on an area that should be white.

    Can you get it someone please let me know how to subtly mix in the white part of the shadow in the background black, I created. I have two layers, one for the black background and one for the image. But I don't want to mix the bottle in the background, just the white part.

    Thank you! Susan

    Certainly work with the image in full resolution and downsize after the change.  This will reduce the imperfections in the web version (for that there will be any imperfection does not) white hard as can are better selected with the pen tool.  If you want to mix the background, I decided on a different approach.

    Select the box with the pen tool.  It's a little bit of a learning curve, but an essential tool and worth the effort.

    https://helpx.Adobe.com/Photoshop/using/drawing-pen-tools.html

    After you have created the Workpath, right-click in the Panel traced and make a selection, and copy into a new layer (Ctrl j) keep this layer at the top of the stack

    Make a new layer under the cage layer and fill it black

    Make a new layer between the Can and the black layer.  CTRL, click the box layer to load a selection and fill the layer with white.

    Use free transform to develop the white layer so that it looks something like this: (note I have not tested this yet, so just a guess)

    Now use the Gaussian blur to soften the white layer to some degree of suites.  This used a value of 100, but you'll need a value more high full resolution on your image.

    There are tricks to refine the background.  CTRL f repeat the Gaussian blur, but the softer the blur becomes the thinnest layer, but you can copy the white blur layer to make it lighter.  When you are satisfied, select all the layers blur and merge them (Ctrl-e) and refine with free transform.  Now CTRL pressed while in the free transformation will allow you to drag a single corner.  in the example of the lower right was a bit too dark, so I dragged that corner down and to the right to compensate (as in the final image)

  • How to get rid of the white space around a footer

    Hello

    I am really new to this (still trying to get a handle on HTML, CSS, etc.) and I need help in setting the footer in a model I created in Dreamweaver (CS5).

    Right now, my main background image extends the entire width of the page without problem. However, my footer won't do the same thing. Instead, there are white bars on each side of him and when I test the page in a browser, I continue to find that no matter how small I make the browser window, the footer will not even extend to the entire width of the page - I have just continues to get the white bars on each side (the footer done in Dreamweaver (, Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, etc.).

    I created the footer using CSS, made 100% of its width and fact ensures that the margins and padding are 0. Here is the CSS for it:

    #footer {}

    do-family: Arial, Helvetica, without serif.

    do-size: 11px;

    color: #464646;

    background-image: url (.. / Images/Other/Footer.jpg);

    background-repeat: repeat-x;

    text-align: center;

    Width: 100%;

    margin-right: 0px;

    margin-bottom: 0px;

    left margin: 0px;

    padding-right: 0px;

    padding-bottom: 0px;

    padding-left: 0px;

    And here's what my HTML code looks like for the entire model:

    < ! DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional / / IN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd" > ""

    I understand that you want to format sticky notes according to your preference.

  • How to get rid of the white vertical border that always accompanies a blockquote.

    Whenever I have apply the right indent in a text frame, a vertical white line or border is added on the left. Does anyone know how to fill the line with the background color or eliminate the annoying vertical line?

    The answers are in your code.  What is the URL of your online test page?

    I didn't style the blockquote. It's the same thing when I have added dates in a table. I had a similar vertical line to the left of each date, as I entered. I have dealt with him by adding a border of the same color as the background.

    Using Bootstrap?  Bootstrap css puts a light border-left on the quote blocks. It is not usually sensitive unless you use a dark background.

    To remove the border, add this to your custom CSS.

    BLOCKQUOTE {}

    border-left: none! important

    }

    That said, I hope that you do not use a tab to indent key simply text has the desktop publishing.

    It's what the CSS margins, padding & dash-text are for.

    Blockquotes are semantic tags used specifically for the quotes outside the other text setting.
