How to send a picture in e-mail using thunderbird

I can't send a photo in an email!

Have you tried to attach the photo (click on the paperclip icon and find the location of the photo on your computer and then double click on the photo)?

  • How to send a picture with ClientTCPWrite

    Hello

    I would like to send a large picture (in fact a photo) to another computer via a TCP server.

    I already use the library to Support TCP to send data to a software that is running on another computer and it works well.

    So I did the same thing with an array of integers, and it does not work. I used the sample of Labwindows to send this table, and that the first part of the table is received aid.

    I don't understand.

    int SendImage(BYTE *lDataToWrite)
    {
    DWORD dwWaitResult;
    int bytesToWrite;
    int bytesWritten;
    int messageSize;

    If (giTCPConnected1 is TRUE)
    {
    bytesToWrite = messageSize = sizeof (BYTE) * WIDTH * HEIGHT;
    While (bytesToWrite > 0)
    {
    bytesWritten = ClientTCPWrite (giTcpConnection1 & lDataToWrite [messageSize - bytesToWrite], bytesToWrite, 0);
    bytesToWrite = bytesWritten;
    }
    }

    Return (ERROR_NO_ERROR);
    }

    	Tab WORD [WIDTH * HEIGHT];

    ...
    ...

    int CVICALLBACK ReceiveTcpMsg(unsigned hdl, int event, int error, void *callbackData) {}
    int iDataSize;
    int i, j;

    DWORD dwWaitResult;
    int bytesToRead;
    int bytesRead;

    switch (event)
    {
    case TCP_CONNECT:
    giTcpConnection = hdl;
    giLineConnected = TRUE;
    break;

    case TCP_DATAREADY:
    Reading data tcp/ip

    bytesToRead = messageSize = sizeof (WORD) * WIDTH * HEIGHT;
    While (bytesToRead > 0)
    {
    bytesRead = ClientTCPRead (giTcpConnection, & Tab2 [messageSize - bytesToRead], bytesToRead, 0);
    bytesToRead = bytesRead;
    }

    break;

    case TCP_DISCONNECT:
    giLineConnected = FALSE;
    break;
    }
    Return (0);
    }

    Is that someone has already used these functions to a large size?

    Or you know other ways to send a picture to another software?

    Thank you for your help.

    Benjamin

    When I had to do something similar to your task, I found more comfortable to split the expedition into smaller pieces (more or less 3-4 k bytes of each for example).

    It also gave me the ability to monitor the process of ethe and finally to interrupt.

  • How to send a file by e-mail with the Director

    It is even possible to have a button in a stand-alone projector that would send a file by e-mail or open an e-mail program and the file attached and addressed? Or is it possible to put a file on a server? Of course, these two methods could draw the attention of the user and ask for their permission.

    Just open the user's email program, you can use the standard jargon:

    goToNetPage (mailto:[email protected])

    This approach is kind of annoying because it actually opens a vacuum
    the browser window then the user's e-mail program. I don't think that you can use
    This approach however send attachments.

    A much better way is the fabulous of DirectXtras DirectEmail xtra.
    Visit their site:
    http://www.directxtras.com/demail_home.asp?UUID=1217348

    DirectEmail can do everything you ask (and more). It's
    cross-platform, shockwave safe, can manage text or HTML email, can do
    Spare part, can use a mail server or not and is really easy to use.

    The same company makes DirectFTP you can get:
    http://www.directxtras.com/DFTP_home.asp?UUID=1217348

    DirectFTP can put files on an FTP site with a minimum of fuss. I have
    repeatedly used both and they rock. You can actually
    write an e-mail or ftp full program with these xtras and Director.

  • How can I import pictures to my computer using a sd card?

    I managed to get a few photos in the SD in front, but no more. How can I add new photos to the sd card in the computer? For some reason any AutoPlay does not, eject even if it is set to ask me every time.

    Not very in computing

    I use Vista

    If you connect the device to your PC via USB, turn on...
    Then go to... Start / computer... it may be listed as one with
    a drive letter...

    If_yes_right click on the drive letter and select... Explorer or
    Open... This should display the directory of the memory card.
    You can copy and paste or drag and drop the files from there to a
    folder on your hard drive.

    (The same steps work if you have a media player...
    When you go to... Start / computer... the media slots
    Drive should be listed under... "Removable disk" with a drive
    letter.)

  • I'm trying to insert a link in an e-mail using Thunderbird, but I do not see the menu "insert."

    G ' Day!

    I use Thunderbird 31.7.0 with Windows 8. I tried Googling instructions, but all I could find was asked to use a 'Insert' menu that my efforts did not discover. How can I put the text in a link?

    Thanks for your time.

    I think you can be composing in plain text mode, where the Insert option is not available or appropriate. Plain text messages can support decorations. Photos should be sent as attachments.

    Hold the SHIFT key when you click Write or reply, the message should open in HTML view and you will have the additional menu options and a toolbar formatting.

    The choice of HTML as the default dialing mode can be selected in the account settings for the account, the title of the Composition & addressing.

    However, in plain text mode, you can just type (or better, copy and paste) URL and e-mail addresses, and in the vast majority of cases, the recipient's e-mail client will make these links.

    Note that whether you use HTML view or plain text when composing, Thunderbird do not offer you active links in the Composition window. If you want to see the link as it will appear to your recipient, you must save the message as a draft, and view it in the drafts folder or send a copy to yourself.

  • How can I delete several emails at once using Thunderbird?

    It seems that I can check multiple emails using thunderbird but I have not found a way to remove a whole bunch of emails all at once until this all I could do is remove one at a time... it would be nice if there would be a way to delete multiple emails at the same time with a single click, all emails that I chose... someone knows how can I do this?

    You use the methods of standard selection on the computer.

    control + a = select all

    Click on message 1, up or down several messages and hold the SHIFT key while clicking on the message 2 = selects message 1 and 2 and everything in between

    Hold down the CTRL key while clicking random messages = SΘlectionner any message clicked on

    Hold down the CTRL key when you click on a selected message = deselect this message

    original title: send a file
    What e-mail program? I see two easy options.

    1: Open the folder with the pix. Select one and then Ctrl + A will highlight all. Right click and drag them to the body of the e-mail message and copy here box. Who should attach if you use an e-mail client.

    2: right-click on the folder with the pix and send to | Compressed (zipped) folder and attach that.

    Note that your mail server has a size limit for the size of the message which the \pix can be a problem. If this is the case, use a site to download like Photobucket and provide the link. Let the recipient download them.
  • How to send a picture by Bluetooth using Windows 8-way

    I selected a photo via pictures tile, drag the right side and choose 'Sharing', I can't find the option to use bluetooth to send the photo to my friend who has the phone bluetooth...

    Note that I added my friend bluetooth device in the "Device" option to the forehand bar already...

    The current workaround is to use the old and no Windows 8 path via Office send the image via bluetooth... But this only defeated the purpose of showing what the new concept in tiles/Start of Windows 8...

    No idea how?

    Thank you!

    It is ACTUALLY how this in Windows 8... no idea what the other poster was thinking, but in most cases, there are a few thing missing in step by step preceding... as moving to the left does not bring to the top of the search appsicon.

    In any case.

    1. Add your BT device through Control Panel-> devices menu and make sure it is coupled.  THIS MUST BE MADE BEFOREHAND.

    2. in the window of your desktop, click on the Bluetooth icon in the notification area (you may need to press the icon of development according to the system icons How are present).

    3. Select "send a file".

    4. Select the device you want to send to, and then click Next. (this is why it needs to be paired FIRST, mentioned in step 1).

    5. you now need to select the window or files.  Locate the file you want to send; Click Open, and then click Next.

    6. If your device is not set to always allow, you will need to accept/approve receive the file on your device.

    7. click on finish once the shipment is completed.

    In Windows, the "Control-drag" operation causes files to replicate.  While you select your files, hold down the CTRL key and click each file you want to select.  Ensure that the mouse does not move when you click each file.  Once all the files are selected, release the "Ctrl" key and drag one of the files already selected in the window of your destination.

    If your mouse is too sensitive or you move the mouse when you click on files with the CTRL key, you can adjust the sensitivity of the mouse scene ranked as a "brake".  To do this, download "TweakUI" Microsoft and in the menu of the mouse, you will be able to set the sensitivity.

  • How to send a picture?

    I'm testing the test oh elements of Prime Minister. I am able to put a video clip in the timeline, but not a .jpg picture. The error message says only: "the importer reported a generic error."

    Any ideas?

    Convert to RGB and 16 bit, did the trick.

    I'm familiar with the PS, but not Prime Minister (this is why I wanted the elements version). I try, but I must confess that I hesitate to buy it if I can't even support online. When I looked at what I could find was .jpg is a format supported, but nothing on the color profile. It's a little frustrating, but thank you for your response here.
