  Adobe Muse does not appear to have the ability to configure automatic backup. Unfortunately, there is no way to turn off auto-save from within the interface of the program. Maybe it's possible by modifying a Muse source file, but it will require confirmation by the developers of Adobe.

Well, that was the biggest mistake ever. I now basically have an office because I can't find a setting that allows me to change the battery is fully charged (it only charges 40 or 50%).   The laptop automatically changed the setting for maximum lifetime of battery energy management. To change this, open the GUI of energy management. Then switch to the setting of the battery in order to optimize for the runtime. That should do it.

• Impossible to change automatic update settings

  For some reason, (possibly malicious, but my computer is now clean) I can't change the settings of update automatic windows.  I can open the page in the Control Panel, but the options are gray translucent and cannot be clicked.  There is a note at the top that "some settings are managed by your system administrator.  I am the administrator.  There is no reason that I would not be able to change these settings.  I currently put to tell me if there are updates so I decide to update, so it isn't a huge problem for not being able to change, but I would like to auto update of important updates.

  Hi I have in fact already MBAM and Spybot installed for general prevention, and both scans lift you own. I also have a separate account a couple of weeks to limit damage in case of infection in the future... but also in the hope, it would solve the problem. Even when I go into control panel for this account, it still prevents me from making changes. I actually posted a hijack this log on spywarehammer.com some time ago, but when I don't have an e-mail saying that he had been a response to my son, I guess no one responded. For now, I want to finish to a good clean out of my system with the help of someone. But, given that I don't know if this problem with automatic updates is actually related to malicious software that is currently on my system, I'm not sure that the cleaning, he would give me a result, then, I know not how. It would be better to close this thread (I can post later if I still have a problem after that my system is completely clean) or to leave it open in case this happens?   As HairyFool says, if you have no hard drive problem, running chkdsk a week is a waste of time and not necessarily good for your drive, but if you have a problem real hard disk, you must run chkdsk as soon as possible.

  If it is clear, of course you can create weekly jobs, open Task Scheduler: type taskschd.msc/s on a command line or in the win-key + R "run" - box, or find it in Control Panel.  (On my German Windows in "Administration - planned tasks", this could be "administration - scheduled task" or similar for you.)  Win 7 Home premium won't let me install a UI to understand the correct term ;-) en-US
  Once you are in the task scheduler activate 'action' (the right column of three) Panel, where you can begin creating simple tasks.  Try something obvious everything first, for example, create a task from calc.exe.  If it works as intended the change in your weekly magic chkdsk /f .
  If your PC does not work at the scheduled time, you will need advanced options to reactivate it, otherwise your chkdsk could run as soon as possible after the scheduled date, exactly when you want to use your box for something else, so it won't do.  You can schedule a task to run only if the system is booted.
  Probably your job will be in two parts, a command with chkdsk /f on C: line to set the flag "I want a chkdsk at the next reboot" on C:, followed the reset - for more details see shutdown /? ; the two commands separated by and.   Try to start calc & notebook in a job and if it works, replace by chkdsk & stop.

  I've recently updated to 1.5, and it has a behavior that I find extremely annoying - when I close, sql developer asks me to save all my spreadsheets even if none of them are actual files. 1.2, it would just shut down and ignore them, that's what I would have preferred - the vast majority of my worksheets are not something I want to save and those who are can I save me before closing.
  
  I've looked through preferences but have not been able to change this - is there a setting somewhere so I can change this behavior?

• Date/time is driving me crazy.  How to set the time automatically?

  I tried this in Acrobat Pro first, but I don't know Javascript and therefore could not change the script "Call Date" to get the time instead.

  Fortunately, I also have Livecycle and everything looked so simple, BUT it does not work.

  Let me explain what I'm trying to do.  My boss asked me to develop a form of seizure of newspaper where, after the user types an entry and that leaves the field then the time of entry is automatically saved.  This field should be read-only.

  I created a text field (to act as the journal entry form field).  I then created a Date/time field.  I went to the link and he changed time.  I changed the value read-only and then the model of hh: mm A.

  Implement the action when the user leaves the text field, the value in the DateTime field is inserted automatically.

  It works great EXCEPT that I only have the DATE!  I tried protected ReadOnly (calculated) etc.  This requires a script to be called... the very thing that I wanted to avoid because I can't code.  Duration worked a little - in the PDF itself, when the user leaves the text, the date AND time field appears, but if you click this field, the time is updated.  I don't want to not be updated.  My boss wants to see the time that the log entry was completed if it is not editable by the user or set to date.

  1. Open my form in the designer.
  2. Highlight a field that gets locked.
  3. In the script editor (above the form design, but below the menu items) in the upper left is a drop-down list labeled Show. This is a list box that displays all the events taken in charge this object. Anything that has the code will have an asterisk next to it. In our case, th eexit event will have code. Choose the exit event and the code will appear in the script window.
  4. Highlight all of the code including the fi and endif statements (do not choose the 1st line having form1. #subform...). Copy this code to the Clipboard
  5. Now, open your form. To change the default language to FormCalc instead of Javascript
  6. Under form th Ted/Properties/menu Deafults in the middle of the screen to ensure that the default language is set to FormCalc and not Javascript and make sure that the default run to a customer value (on by default)
  7. I guess you do something similar where you have a field and time of newspaper next to her.

  You encounter formatting problems are a matter of the browser you use and the format that it allows. There are modules of your browser that may allow you more features, but that would depend on the application itself. Also you can see one of the other browsers (Chromeor IE and see if they have the features you are looking for.)

  In regards to printing a section of the page, I advise to use the tool captures (just type in the menu START and type this program) which will essentially allow you to take screenshots of areas only you want to print. You can then print or save, or do both.

  Thanks for posting in the Microsoft answers Forum.  If you have problems with a version of XP, you can run a repair of the installation.  The link below explains the process and gives instructions.  As much as to try to pass a registry hive loading XP to another (even on the same machine) is not recommended.
