  Scenario: as part of my learning pre 9, that tried to create what is essentially a slide with some projectile points. It's three lines of text in title I want to scroll the screen one after the other and then sit for about five seconds before the title shot has been completed.

  However, it seems that you cannot process the lines of text as individual objects (assuming that each line is an individual text box) as you would with KeyNote or Powerpoint.

  It seems there are three approaches to the use of the manipulation of text for titles:

  1. Animation with the menu/conduct
  2. Animation with effects
  3. Animate the whole title clip (is that the right term?) by using keyframes and motion and opacity

  It seems that none of these allow you to sequence the three lines of text so that they appear one after the other with specified times unless you create three separate title clips that appear one after the other. What at first would be on the first line, in the second element of title do you the first static line and roll on the second line and then in the third clip that you would roll on the third line while lines one and two were static. Then, to get a static display, you would create a fourth title clip in which all lines were static.

  My understanding is correct?

  You're right – one cannot do multiple lines of text in a title and then apply predefined animations.

  In the Meadow, I would create the title in Photoshop, or PhotoshopElements, where each line is a layer, and the background is Transparent. Then save each layer as a separate PSD Import in the meadow. Then just animate each PSD individually, with keyframes for fixed effects > Motion > position and possibly movement > scale. With key frames, you can pause, speed up and completely control the animation.

  The reason for this in PS/EPS, is therefore very easy to align the text to the other layers.

  This can be done in the Titler, but I suggest using grids, alignment, or similar, to keep things lined up. This ARTICLE will give you some tips and even grids of alignment.

  The title preset animations are very limited, and I rarely even think about using them.

  Go to Preferences > general, then set it to "video Transition default Duration", but many executives you want it to be.

  Haven't tried Google or none this result.  It seems that Apple continues to change it from one version to the other.  I use iMovie on Mac OS - X 10.11.3 10.1.1.  I'm taking about 380 still images and create a stop-motion video.  I want each image to play for about 0.1 seconds.  When I imported the image he set the duration of the 10 seconds for each clip.  I thought it would be easy to change after the fact.  May not know how!   Thanks for any help.

  Select all your still images in the timeline and click the information above the observer (little "i" in a circle).  Enter the length desired in the "Time" box and press return.  The shortest time setting seem to be 0.2 seconds.

  You can try to cut the clip and take a fresh start or endpoint for the clip to set the duration. The start trim point determines when the clip will start playing, and the end trim point determines when the clip stops in your project and final film.

  To trim a video clip

  1. If you are in the Storyboard view, click, and then on the timeline.

  2. in the timeline panel, click the clip you want to cut.

  3 use the controls to play under the preview monitor to find the point where you want to cut out the clip.

  4 follow these steps:

  ·        When the playback indicator is at the location where you want the video or audio clip selected in replay, clickClip and then click TrimBeginning.

  With the title on the timeline, expert Mode, just a click + drag on the tail (or head) of the title, in order to extend the duration. I would also like to open the information panel, so that I can see exactly this change in length.
