(How to set up printing) recipe cards

I want to duplicate old recipe of my mom cards and give as gifts sets.  I can make a picture of color on each side of the card stock, then cut out a.  But I need a performance much better (there are a lot of cards).  I want to:

-Do more than a 3 x 5 card on each stock card 8 x 11

-Set up to print multiple cards in a 'race '.

I tried the 'booklet' option and may have two cards printed on a single sheet map, but it is backwards.  When I try to do more than 2 cards, the forwards and the backs are not always of the same card.  There are as many elements to put in place that I'm going in circles, try things without understanding what I'm asking the computer to do.

Ingredients:

-Adobe Acrobat X Pro

-The file has one side of a card (3 x 5) on each page.  Thus, for example, the first page is 1-front card and the second page is 1 - back card.  Images have all been cropped to capture the original map, defects, spills and all.  For a card that has nothing on the back, I inserted a blank page for the back, so all odd pages are a front of the card, and all even-numbered pages are a card back (with a picture or a cache).

-Windows 7

-HP Office Jet Pro 8620

Hello

Acrobat is not a booklet or a card Designer, but it has print booklet option, please refer to this document KB printed booklets | Acrobat, Reader for better under the impression of the brochure.

Kind regards
Nicos

How to set the printer wireless ad Hoc mode to CP1025nw with automatic stop is off? IE never automatic.

Thank you very much for your help, if necessary.

Quite a few questions, send, but I will do what I can to answer them.

I recommend first to buy a router, even if it's one you won't connect to internet and it network with others your PC and printer. This will give you the best features and the results of what you're trying to do.

In addition, the automatic stop of the printer function can be disabled and is not affected by the type of connection. Usually, you can go through the configuration Menu and select tools to change the options there on the energy saving features.

Finally, the auto off function on your computer is a Windows question, but one easy answer. If you're on a laptop, you can right click on the battery in the tray (lower right corner) and change the settings for energy conservation.

You might be better off installing the printer via the USB cord and alternately inspiring when you use it, but which is not optimal if you are printing only a few documents on an irregular basis. A network connection is the easiest to manage across multiple computers, honesty, but you have certain requirements for this connection and limits as well.

I hope this information is useful!

  • How does set a printer 'active' in LabVIEW?

On Windows, all applications start with the default printer and the user can change this to be the "current printer"

but it's different in each application.

LabVIEW does seem to have no way to set the current printer until it is needed?

  • P855 satellite how to set to default graphics card nVidia GPUS

    Hello

    I have a p855-10j
When I check my graphics card with a right click on desktop I sw that's 4000 Intel.
I do not see nvida 630 m anywhere.

How can I make my default of 630 m and disable intel?
I wanted to install the latest version of the nvidia 301.42 driver but could not. Why?

    Hello

The nVidia GPU supports Optimus technology.
This technology automatically switches between the (external GPU) nVidia and Intel HD GPU (internal GPU).

Is possible to set a GPU in a single program. For example, you can choose the graphics card to be used by a game or photo editing software.

So can force and simple application to run and use the nVidia GPU.
This can be done in the nvidia Control Panel.

    1. click on start and then Control Panel. Select Classic view in the left side of the window.
    2. double-click on the NVIDIA Control Panel.
    3. click view, and then add the "Run with graphic processor" Option to the context Menu. Close the NVIDIA Control Panel.
    4. right click on the title of the application and select run with GPU. Then, click on NVIDIA processor high performance.

  • How to set default printing shortcut or change standard ones

I have a LaserJet 2420d with the PCL 5 driver.  Whenever I print, it uses the default paper shortcut that is "General printing every day."  This built-in shortcut specifies a type of "Pre-printed", so the printer breaks waiting for pre-printed paper inserted until I press the check mark button.

I can create a custom form that has solved the problem, but I don't know how to make my custom form by default for the printer.  Furthermore, if I could change the type of paper for the 'General everyday printing' and save it, it would solve the problem.

So how set my default paper form shortcut or change the standard one?

Furthermore, the who Devil set by default to use paper pre-printed paper?

Open your printers and Faxes folder, right click on the printer icon and select Printing Options. and any changes made here will be defined as a default value.

I want to configure my printer to turn on automatically when receiving incoming fax. Do I have to leave power or can I change the setting to turn on automatically with each incoming call. He is a dedicated fax line that is not connected to my computer. Also there is a sleep mode, the power led remains on when you use the sleep mode?

    Hi @mcqwats,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see you want for your printer HP switch automatically when an incoming fax arrives. You have not the possibility to activate the automatic answer - on, but the printer must be turned on so that this function executes.

There is however no way to set the preferences to activate the printer when it is off.

I hope that answers your questions.

On these forums, I met a number of questions on how to enable printing without margins on our printers. It is a feature that must be enabled to substitute manual border widths by default. There are limits to this (see my post on two-sided printing), but overall, it should be easy to activate.

When I printed out them, copies were biased and the text was missing from the right side. I adjusted the borders in the printing configuration. It made no difference. • How to set up printing wireless of my lide 120 to a brother hl-3170cdw

Seems like scanners are the poor relative in the community, I do not see any place to ask this question other than "General Discussion."

To expand on my subject line... nothing ignite communication between my Windows laptop 8.1 and my printer Brother HL - 3170 CDW WiFi when I try to print from my scanner CanoScan LiDE 120. Documents created on the laptop go to the printer without problem. Is there a configuration screen of the 120 that I have not found? Where should I start his problem in case of problems?

I think I found the answer. The official response of the gun is ' gee, that's too bad. Call from Microsoft, that's their problem "." I couldn't believe my ears. They had zero interest in making their product works with the most popular operating system in the world (Win7). To start at the beginning, that was the problem: my printer is a HP LaserJet M1212nf MFP. I use the USB port. Using your utility software, I can scan in 'MY Documents' and I can print anything from there. BUT absolutely nothing happens when I try to use the scanner buttons. I bought this for my daughter of techno-phobique and it is essential that these buttons work. I read all 262 pages of your manual and that you have not found the answer, but it may be related to page 223. I try to follow the instructions, but the options in your manual are not available. All this shows is is "no application registered for this event. Before ask you, my antivirus program is Microsoft Security Essentials. I am the only user of this computer so I have administrator privileges.  To remedy this, I was told essentially sand paper. Fortunately my daughter is running Windows 8.1 things worked a little better but manual page 223 left me confused. Win 8 step 4 "select an event" means a button "all events". It does not exist. There is choice for copy, PDF, auto and send. The instructions are ambiguous, but I choose 'copy' and let it go at that. I'm tires if you work with it. I know it is a scanner at low cost and that you get what you pay for, but surely, we have the right to expect that it works as advertised.

  • How to set the printer online and keep it online in vista?

I use my laptop with vista on a network.  When I turn on the laptop sometimes printer says offline and I can't connect unless I have reinstall printer.  There is nothing wrong with my printer or a computer.  The problem is vista not reconnected to the printer.  My XP computer connects again everytime.  I read there was a fix for the problem, but can't find it to download.  I'm not sharing of printer, I connect to the printer directly via the wireless network.  The network is fine and sees the vista printer, but does not connect online

Go to the Control Panel, open Printers, click right your printer, and then click Create a shortcut. The shortcut will be placed on your desktop. Open the printer shortcut and click the printer in the menu and uncheck the use printer offline if it is checked. You can drag to the taskbar where it is no longer accessible and remove a Desktop or keep both.
