How to set up printing with apex 3.1.2

I try to use Apache FOP with Apex 3.1.2 and I can't find the place to set up Apex.
The document that I use is located at [http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/database/application_express/html/configure_printing.html] and the important point is this:

Step 2: Configure Oracle Application Express to use JSP for PDF printing

Once you have the PFO installed, access settings to print the report:

1. access to the Services Administration Homepage
2. Select manage Service
3. Select settings of Instance, under manage environment settings
4. click on print to concentrate on only the attributes of the report print report

I'm trying to locate these settings. In the page with the 'Home & gt navigation bar; Administration & gt; Manage Services"is not"environment to manage settings.
I looking in the wrong place? Y at - it a special user who should be used as sys?

The installation is an Oracle XE with Apex upgraded to 3.1.2

You must be connected to the "internal" workspace

How to set the printer wireless ad Hoc mode to CP1025nw with automatic stop is off? IE never automatic.

Thank you very much for your help, if necessary.

Quite a few questions, send, but I will do what I can to answer them.

I recommend first to buy a router, even if it's one you won't connect to internet and it network with others your PC and printer. This will give you the best features and the results of what you're trying to do.

In addition, the automatic stop of the printer function can be disabled and is not affected by the type of connection. Usually, you can go through the configuration Menu and select tools to change the options there on the energy saving features.

Finally, the auto off function on your computer is a Windows question, but one easy answer. If you're on a laptop, you can right click on the battery in the tray (lower right corner) and change the settings for energy conservation.

You might be better off installing the printer via the USB cord and alternately inspiring when you use it, but which is not optimal if you are printing only a few documents on an irregular basis. A network connection is the easiest to manage across multiple computers, honesty, but you have certain requirements for this connection and limits as well.

I hope this information is useful!

  • How does set a printer 'active' in LabVIEW?

The method PrintPanel for a VI says that it will print to the printer 'current '.  How does set a that?

On Windows, all applications start with the default printer and the user can change this to be the "current printer"

but it's different in each application.

LabVIEW does seem to have no way to set the current printer until it is needed?

And why can't the method takes a name of the printer in option though?

I think you're looking the printingefault printer property for the Application class.

  • Print with APEX and EBS

    Hi gurus
I have sucessfully integrated APEX with EBS, do a lot of reports on data from BSE.
These reports are visible on the screen, but now I need a paper printed some of them.
After having read a lot of literature, I realized that I need a print as BI Publisher server.
I'm not sure but I think that EBS uses a similar architecture for printing, with a print server actually generate output.
Is this correct? If that is correct, can I use the EBS for APEX printing print server? How can I do?

    I use APEX 3.2 and EBS 11.5.10

    Thanks in advance
    Oscar

EBS has a version of BI publisher, but previous assignments, it was noted that the version of bi publisher integrated with EBS is NOT a version that runs with the integration of the APEX...

  • How to set up Subversion with Jdevloper 11.1.1.3.0?

    Hello...
I am currently using oracle Jdeveloper 11.1.1.3.0 and I want to use Subversion, but I do not know how to set up with Jedeveloper? What version did? How to create the repository? How to import source code repository? I'm new on this. If no document, site for the steps
    pls...

    Edited by: User555 11 May 2010 21:23

    (a) required SVN version: it is easy through the SVNKit version in JDev. You can determine your version of SVNKit via Tools-> preferences-> Versioning. Visit http://svnkit.com/ for what SVN version is supported.

    (b) create the SVN repository: this can be done in JDev or externally with other SVN tool. Internal JDev through Versioning-> create the Local repository

    (c) import Source Code: open existing application in JDev, then select Versioning-> Version Application.

    (d) documentation: the manual supplied with JDev called 'developing in teams' has documentation SVN for JDev.

Unplug the printer from the laptop.  In Vista or Win 7, click Orb (Start), settings, Control Panel, printers. When the Lexmark printer is found, right-click on it and then click on remove.

Equip your drive and install the drivers and programs on the disk, then when told the printer.  You should have a printer now works.

  • How to set up channels with Spring-Flex?

Newbie here to try and get my first Flex/BlazeDS operational application.   I think that I have correctly configured my servet and Remoting destinations using Spring-Flex integration.  My only remaining questions are how to set channels.

The use of the spring/BlazeDS integration means that I don't have to have a remoting-config file. XML more.  But it the documentation is not clear as to if I have to configure my channels in a services - config.xml still file.

If I need a services-config file. XML (and I think I do), how can we get away without hard coding the server URL?  I've seen samples on the web such as:

    "URL ="""https://\{server.name\}:\{server.port\}/flex2gateway/cfamfsecure '

But I did not when/where/what the dynamic substitution?  They look almost like Maven properties or the spring, but they may not be.  It's just something that needs to be changed manually after the installation?

Finally, I don't really like the idea of compiling the Flex client against a configuration file on the server side as I saw suggested on the web.  How would we have the Flex client discover - or if not to understand what he must do it dynamically?

Sorry for the post multi-question... Thanks for any help!

Do not configure a set of channels, but you can do it in your Flex client rather than code in the file services - config.Xml. Here is some information on some ways to do this:

    http://help.Adobe.com/en_US/LiveCycleDataServicesES/3.1/developing/WSc3ff6d0ea77859461172e 0811f00f6e876 - 7fecUpdate.html #WSc3ff6d0ea77859461172e0811f00f6e876-7fdbUpdate

Look at the section called "channel on the client Configuration.

Regarding the tokens in the definitions of channels in services - config.xml:

{server.name} and {server.port} resolved when running on the server and port used to load the SWF file.

  • How to set default printing shortcut or change standard ones

I have a LaserJet 2420d with the PCL 5 driver.  Whenever I print, it uses the default paper shortcut that is "General printing every day."  This built-in shortcut specifies a type of "Pre-printed", so the printer breaks waiting for pre-printed paper inserted until I press the check mark button.

I can create a custom form that has solved the problem, but I don't know how to make my custom form by default for the printer.  Furthermore, if I could change the type of paper for the 'General everyday printing' and save it, it would solve the problem.

So how set my default paper form shortcut or change the standard one?

Furthermore, the who Devil set by default to use paper pre-printed paper?

Open your printers and Faxes folder, right click on the printer icon and select Printing Options. and any changes made here will be defined as a default value.

  • OfficeJet pro 8620: how to set up printer to turn on automatically when you receive an incoming fax on a dedicated line

I want to configure my printer to turn on automatically when receiving incoming fax. Do I have to leave power or can I change the setting to turn on automatically with each incoming call. He is a dedicated fax line that is not connected to my computer. Also there is a sleep mode, the power led remains on when you use the sleep mode?

    Hi @mcqwats,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see you want for your printer HP switch automatically when an incoming fax arrives. You have not the possibility to activate the automatic answer - on, but the printer must be turned on so that this function executes.

There is however no way to set the preferences to activate the printer when it is off.

I hope that answers your questions.

When I printed out them, copies were biased and the text was missing from the right side. I adjusted the borders in the printing configuration. It made no difference.
