  Same as you access other customers ebiz.

  Add entries in the same winxp(vmware client) host file that u did on the ping server and check for ebiz ebiz Server works very well with the hostname and hostname.domainname.com

  If the ping does not work then you need to fill the adapter from winxp to vmware for the physical NIC of ebiz machine.check below link to fill

  Andreas,

  I think (and this is a guess) is that there is an error that kept the app to the executing State. I would try removing the application from the server and add it again. Are there clues in the output of the server when the deployment? You may need to adjust the server logging levels to see if there is some error events.

• Cannot start Oracle Application Suite

  I installed Oracle Application Suite on my laptop and tried to access it and immediately I get the following error:
  
  8088 / olt /-> "cannot display the page.
  
  I checked through the entrance of the local hosts and 127.0.0.1 pointing to my local host.
  
  In trials, I did try telnet localhost 8080, but that does not work either?
  
  I don't know what the issue or am I missing something?

  OK that's the good news, we know what is the problem!

  Make sure you have the file jboss - 4.0.2.zip somewhere in your system, the file should be of about * 59.2 MB *, I saw some JBoss installations, which were not due to a corrupted file.

  Then go to:

  Start to -> all programs -> Oracle Application Testing costumee- Tools >-> day Oracle Application Testing Suite Application Service

  Then point the wizard to the folder containing the file zip, not to the zipfile itself.

  This process should update the application server.

  Note also that it should be JBoss 4.0.2

  Hello

  If you mean how to access the e-Business Suite from the virtual machine, and then you just navigate to the same URL as you would normally. You may need to put the alias of the machine in your hosts file if you reference it via the name of the computer rather than the IP address.

  If you mean you want to load the form in the form designer (for example) then you will need to FTP the form from the server to the client (as you normally would), then open it in your client (XP virtual machine).

  If you want to use the workflow designer (according to your initial condition) then you must ensure that the TNSNAMES.ora file in workflow Home Builder has an entry for your instance on Linux, and then you should be able to connect to the database directly.

  Check in the log file for the detailed error message and most likely that the error will be unable to find the name of user/pwd or tns listener error. If you can post the detailed error message, it will be very useful for finding the exact cause.
