  I work in an environment were we have a lot of users VI. I develop the VI and technical personnel using the GUI (cover Page) to collect the data. In order to control the input parameters used on multiple hardware platforms, I'd like to develop a generic VI which will import or read a text file I created, and configures the DAQmx tasks to perform data acquisition. In fact, I have the generic VI full and need to understand how to make configurations DAQmx more transparent for the end user as long as the end user has the text file to import. For example, to generate the wizard DAQ DAQmx tasks based on information from text file?

  I don't have time to do more than just a small example. The VI below contains a table with table fixed index functions. This would have changed to get automatically the correct rows and columns, but I hope that you have an idea.   I'm a bit new to LabVIEW and many of you may see this as a very simple question, but how do I remove DAQmx channel (if it is the correct term, or is it jobs?).

  I have played and seem to have a few redundant channels and wish to remove them. I have searched for a while now and can't seem to find it anywhere.

  I'm using LabVIEW to perform a generation analog DAQmx and I call my LabVIEW of CVI code via a dll.  I want to make two separate calls, one to start a task DAQmx and one to stop the task, so I need to either:

  (1) move a task ID DAQmx CVI and then again to LV

  or

  (2) convert a string of the ID for the task, pass it to CVI and then back to LV and then convert back to a task ID in LabVIEW.

  I'm sure that option 2 is the easiest option, but I don't know how to convert back and forth between a string and a task ID DAQmx.  Can anyone help with this?

  Nathand is correct, it's pretty easy convert from/to the task DAQMX and String.  The two below

  What are the benefits to declare tasks DAQmx either in the lvproj or Max?

  My question because I'm calling a VI of TestStand test, and when the DAQmx task constant is declared in the project (lvproj) which holds the criterion VI, it does not perform properly, saying can't find the reference or something.

  If I change the DAQmx task to be a global task in MAX everything works as expected.

  What is the best practice to do this kind of things?

  TestStand does currently not support execution of VIs a project. So unfortunately, we expect the behavior that you see where to call a VI that uses a DAQmx task defined in a project does not work. For now, if you do want to keep your configuration of the task outside the source code and you want to use these task for TestStand, you must store the Max.

  We are looking for by adding support for the performance of screw a project in a future version of TestStand.

  I would like to understand how Photos stores photos. I come from a background of Picasa. Picasa, only used tags to build libraries but not to reproduce the photo itself (which I understand). However, it looks like iPhotos and Photos really build a coded library which, in a sense, duplicate photos in their own system of coded library.

  So, if this is correct, I guess that if I want to use one of the photos of, say, a document, I first need to export in the pictures folder (or somewhere) and it access?

  Photos, iPhoto, Aperture, etc., are essentially applications of databases keep track of your photos and everything that changes and tags have been added to them.

  If you have iPhoto and photo libraries, they both link to the same files on your drive. the files are not duplicated, even if she looks like this in the Finder. If you remove, say, iPhoto library, you re - win very small storage space.

  Because these applications are databases, you should let them consolidate (as opposed to the use of libraries referenced) all your images and never, ever try to reorganize or rename, the files directly in the library file.

  I recently had to format my hard drive and reinstall iTunes 12.3.2.35 on my Win7 PC.   iTunes can create duplicates if the same content is added several times from outside the media folder when it is about to make copies of everything that is added to the library, or is added from an external drive that hosts the press kit that was disconnected during the launch of iTunes.

  Official notice of Apple on the duplicates is here: find and remove duplicates in your iTunes library. This is a manual process and article fails to explain some of the potential pitfalls such as the lost coast and membership of playlist, or sometimes the same file can be represented by multiple entries in the library as well as a removal and recycling the file will break all the others.

  Use MAJ > display > show items to reproduce exactly to display the duplicates because it is normally a selection more useful. You must manually select all but one of each group to remove. Sort the list by Date added can make easier select appropriate tracks, but it works better when executed immediately after the dupes were created.  If you have several entries in iTunes connected to a same file on the disk hard then don't not send to trash.

  There is no practical way to do it.

  If you do not enable iCloud Drive on your Mac, you can upload files to iCloud by car via the web interface at https://www.icloud.com

  But you can access the files from the web interface and won't icloud drive as drive in the Finder.  You cannot use the Finder to access the files. You need to download it to use.

  I'm trying to: record streaming channels (acceleration 21 and 1 tension) using a DAQmx task, then convert the data to a PDM file. The program files and output to the TDMS file very well. The issue I'm having is that I can't change the sampling frequency. I want to record 500samples/s and I can not get the "real sampling rate" of change of 1651.61samples / s. I am trying to use the clock to do this and I succumbed. I also tried to change the settings of "Timing" in the task without a bit of luck. Here is a screenshot of the .VI I created. I've also attached a copy of the file VI. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  You will need to provide the model of your device. You can also look in the sheet/manual to see what the real supported sampling rates. Some devices have limited rates.

  I don't see how this question fits in any digital i/o, but it looks like you just need a change of register with the concantanate string function.
