How to store the information safely register?

Some require for my application:

-When remove app, information register is always stay

-What app, registry info update is intact

I try with PersistentStore but I still want to see idea of expert for a better solution. Thank you very much!

If the info should stay, you will need to use a preset to store your information, String, Boolean, Integer, or Vector, Hashtable etc.
If you put a class of its own in the store that implements Persistable store is deleted if you remove the application.

  • How to store the original and to remove some duplicate songs in iTunes on a PC Win7, which took place after iTunes to scan for music during a re - install?

How to store the original and to remove some duplicate songs in iTunes on a PC Win7, which took place after iTunes to scan for music during a re - install?

I recently had to format my hard drive and reinstall iTunes 12.3.2.35 on my Win7 PC. As part of the re - install iTunes, I clicked on the button scan for music.  This has created duplicates several of my songs.  I deleted then the duplicate songs from iTunes, but when I went to play a few songs a pop-up said "the song would not be because the original could not be found.  You want to locate? "When I tried to locate the song it is not found, but when I pulled the songs out of the trash they could be found.

How can I keep the original and remove any duplicate songs in iTunes on PC Win7 which took place after iTunes to scan for music during a re - install?

iTunes can create duplicates if the same content is added several times from outside the media folder when it is about to make copies of everything that is added to the library, or is added from an external drive that hosts the press kit that was disconnected during the launch of iTunes.

Official notice of Apple on the duplicates is here: find and remove duplicates in your iTunes library. This is a manual process and article fails to explain some of the potential pitfalls such as the lost coast and membership of playlist, or sometimes the same file can be represented by multiple entries in the library as well as a removal and recycling the file will break all the others.

Use MAJ > display > show items to reproduce exactly to display the duplicates because it is normally a selection more useful. You must manually select all but one of each group to remove. Sort the list by Date added can make easier select appropriate tracks, but it works better when executed immediately after the dupes were created.  If you have several entries in iTunes connected to a same file on the disk hard then don't not send to trash.

Use my DeDuper script (Windows only) If you are not sure, do not want to do it by hand, or want to maintain ratings, play counts and playlist membership. See this background thread , this post for detailed instructions and Please take note of the warning to back up your library before deduping.

(If you don't see the menu bar press ALT to temporarily view or CTRL + B to keep displayed.)

The latest version of the script can put away the dead links as long as there is at least a double live to merge his stats and membership of the playlist and must deal wisely when the same file has been added through multiple paths.

    Hallo,

So I guess that the session exists as soon as the user access the login page.

    • I would like to know if I have to worry about a possible previous session (especially another user session).
    • If the user on the home page click the back button in the browser the application creates a new session to destroy the possible previous session?

    • And if my request to place the values in UserData would be a good practice as part of the bean connection null all the attributes of the container UserData?

    2)

    • Is it better to store the information in the HTTP session or UserData?
    • It is less safe than the other? Otherwise why is there the need to have 2 types of sessions?
    • Could he have no sense in storing an individual data in the HTTP session and UserData at the same time?
    • I have seen that the HTTP session is very easy to access, view and (if necessary) and the layers of the model. Is the same as for UserData, or it can be accessed only by the model layer?

    3)

    • In my case, I want to share my application the user in user data:

      • Name of the service (only at the end of the display)
      • Username and DepartmentId (these hairy should be passed to the query and the view of your criteria)
    • Where I put those values? Who, in the HTTP session? Who in UserData?

    4)

    • I'm in doubt if using a scope session bean or - since the data that I have to share is really little - use the 'basic' (e.g. ectx.getSessionMap () .put ("key", "ValueToStore")).
    • If I use an extended session bean and I store of simple values (integer, String,...) I don't have to worry about serialization (de)?

    • And in my situation I could handle everything with a single between UserData anda HTTP session?

These questions are intended to create a simple login system that stores data needed somewhere in the different parts of my application.

-When you close your browser, this will destroy the session

    -None

-It will be much easier to invalidate the entire session (HttpSession method for this object)

-When you destroy the http session, it will destroy the Application modules, and it will destroy UserData

-We already discussed in a previous thread so I won't comment

-both are secure. HttpSession exist in java web applications and UserData is specific ADF.

-Maybe (for example, it is not recommended to access the HttpSession of model project, so you can store some data in the UserData (to be referenced from your, etc.) and managed (so you can bind them directly to UI) Bean)

-Are accessible only from template (but you can expose a custom to ViewController method that accesses UserData)

      • Username and DepartmentId (these hairy should be passed to the query and the view of your criteria)
    • Where I put those values? Who, in the HTTP session? Who in UserData?

    My opinion:

Name, first name, name of the Department-> session brought average managed (so you can link that directly to the user interface components)

UserId, DepartmentId-> UserData (or you can store managed bean and pass as parameters to methods of model project)

    4)

-with getSessionMap () .put (), you must pay attention to the data types when you change or retrieve values (for example, do you know if DepartmentId is Integer, BigDecimal, oracle.jbo.domain.Number,..) If this isn't "type-safe". In addition, it is easier to understand what your application keep in session if you managed bean that in order to find all the places you're calling the method getSessionMap () .put ().  And controlled beans are a 'natural' way to keep data in a JSF/ADF application.

-Not (just brand bean session with the Serializable attribute)

-You can do something similar to this, but this is not a recommended practice because it would break the MVC pattern

-If you do not have too much, you can keep everything in HttpSession and expose methods to set the binding vars.

  • [ADF, JDev12.1.3] That is the approach recommended to store the information of the logged-on user?

    Hallo,

I would like to know which are:

    • approaches possible and advised to store the main information (which will be used throughout the application) of the user that is logged;
    • for each of the approaches that are the main advantages and disadvantages.

    For example

I have my doubts if store info in variables private module request or if I'd better use the HttpSession.

The use of HttpsSession back to store the information in a range session bean?

A scope session bean should be used only to store information?

Sorry if these question may be stupid but I'm starting to take care of the security of my application and I am a bit confused about the available possibilities.

I use ADF Essentials, so I can't use ADFSecurity.

    Thank you

    Federico

I have my doubts if store info in variables private module request or if I'd better use the HttpSession.

Never use app module variables to store data. If you need to store data in the model project, you can use the UserData card, but you must implement the serialization/deserialization.

Read this blog post for more information: http://andrejusb.blogspot.com/2012/05/solution-for-sharing-global-user-data.html

The use of HttpsSession back to store the information in a range session bean?

    They are similar.

Difference is that you can put data directly to the session http (as an attribute) and if you use managed bean then keep you data in the attributes of bean and framework will put bean in scope of the session.

A scope session bean should be used only to store information?

Well, do not store the amount of data in session bean because it will influence the performance of the server (if the number of users increases you need more RAM, if you assign more RAM to the server it will be time for garbage collection, will also increase if you have clustering then great session bean (s) will increase the time of synchronization of the session) ", etc...)

  • How to access the information in the report of a pass/fail test?

I'll call you a LabVIEW VIs of TestStand which are configured as ' pass/fail Tests. The result of the Boolean "PASS/FAIL" of LabVIEW indicator apparently are accessed through the variable RunState.SequenceFailed of TestStand. However, I can't find a similar TestStand variable that contains the information of 'Text of the report' of LabVIEW. Not such a variable exist, nor will it take to create a?

    Hi bmihura,

The best approach would be to use direct information from the stage itself. You can get the text of the report of the RunState.Step.Result.Report text

In this way, you go to the step text report directly.

Alternatively, you can store the text of the report to a variable in the parameters of the step.

I hope that gets things moving along to you!

    Kind regards

Too many questions and not enough information.

    1. the number of rows of data are you talking about?
    2. have you already written procedures? If you could put the two procs in the same package and use a collection of share plan.
    3. what actually does sp2? Could you do it in sp1 query/cursor instead of having a separate procedure?
    4. you could make sp2 a procedure in pipeline and then sp1 can query sp2 such as table data.
    5. for large amounts of data, you can use a global temporary Table.
    6. for small amounts of data, you can use a collection of PL/SQL.

  • How to hide the information PDF/A sign and display the signature information panel? (plugin)

    Hello

When you open a PDF/A compliant document and also has a signature digital then PDF/a information panel is always displayed with the text:

You have opened the file conforms to the PDF/A standard and was opened in read-only to prevent the change.

Instead, I would like that my plugin to display the Panel of usual signature information:

Signed and all signatures are valid.

It is possible to get this behavior by setting preferences-> Documents-> PDF/A-> Mode of display/a 'never '.

What I would do is to programmatically set the information bar to display the status of the signature (for documents that are checked by my plugin, probably inside the dsGetValidState). For all other documents open it in PDF/A, by default, that's fine.

No idea how to do the plugin with the SDK from the inside?

There is no control over the 'Message of Document bar' from a plugin.

Mode display PDF/A disable is a REALLY BAD IDEA!

If you want to store the data of the input textfields, add you text in a table.

Save the table in a flash cookie when you want (mouse click or other event).

When you want to recover data just call saved the cookie table.

It is displayed in the last comment.

In this code, recording an array (testarray) under flashcookie.

When you first run the code you get will be saved as undefined data.

If you want to use the value of the counter in the other queries in the data model, you can have an alias for the extraction of County and use it as a bind variable in other queries as

  • How to store the navigation history when updating Linux?

I am using Puppy Linux 528.005, used FF11 until I upgraded to FF14 & always I updated the browser I'm losing my browsing history. This info is saved somewhere where FF can he get everytime it starts, so I wonder why the FF upgrade involves the loss of this valuable data.

My specific question could be stated as follows:
Is there something that could be done, before the upgrade/update of FF, to keep these data?

    Thanks in advance!

There is history (URL, dates, hourly) and then there is your last session. I guess you want to save the two.

You can save files in your folder of Firefox settings (AKA Firefox profile folder. See back up and restore the information contained in the profiles of Firefox. I suggest you copy the folder of your profile Firefox together somewhere outside the Mozilla folder so it will not be affected by the installer of Firefox.

If you are experiencing data loss, see this article: recovery of data from an old profile.

It would be good to keep my iPad Pro, pencil and Smart keyboard all together in the case of the keyboard, but if there is a way to store the pen that I still have to find out.  Somebody has a better chance?

There is no way of storage designed into it. You'd have to invent and fixing something yourself. Band Velcro comes to mind.
