  • How to use Windows Movie Maker

I got my file AVI and MP3 file combined in the timeline and I can play the video in the Timeline and play it with the sound of the MP3.
But, I can't understand how to configure the AVI/MP3 file so I can upload it to my web site.
I have Win XP Home SP3, Movie Maker version 5.1

Judging by your question, you should be able to just go to save on PC and upload to your site. Director of Windows compiles the avi + mp3 for you as you mentioned earlier, after you have saved on your pc in the edit tab make sure that your blog supports the file type. If this isn't the case, simply type in the free video converter in the search engine.

  • How to change a Movie Maker file name extension

I am trying to load a video You Tube and Facebook of Movie Maker on Vista, yet both programs say that they do not support the MSWMM file name extension. How can I change the extension wmv or something supported by these programs without destroying the file?
I already changed the position of file name by renaming the file, but it destroyed and I was not even able to see.

    Hi Linsala,

Try highlighting your video on the collection list and then clicking Save film on top of the toolbar. Go through the steps and it should save it as a wmv.

  • Delay how video windows live movie maker

Hey there, I am currently working on a project in Windows Live Movie Maker, there is nothing too big, it's about 102 MB for the entire clip and it's a video with a song in there. I am trying to sync the song perfectly with the video itself and to do that I need to start playing the first song and have about a 1 second delay on the video itself, and I can't seem to find a way to do it. I tried the adjustment tool, but I don't want to cut it down simply delay. Any help would be appreciated.

  • Windows Movie Maker, create empty audio files from Audio CD through Media Player playback.

I am trying to integrate audio CD in Windows Movie Maker by using the Microphone of CD Audio in Windows Movie Maker game and reading the CD with Media Player file. The file is created very well with the small notes on the icon, but reading, there is no sound. I went into control panel - household and made sure that all the sound elements was not checked in as volume controls 'mute' and turned everything up to full. Playback of the audio in the player, once I hit 'record' in WMM and the operation starts. I hit stop when the desired recording is over... but the files play 'empty' back in WMM and Media Player. This procedure has worked well for me in the past, so it's very frustrating that it has suddenly stopped working.

Or... it may be worth trying to RIP the CD with .wma as the

  • His Windows Movie Maker-no. .avi file

No sound in an AVI in Movie Maker, but it is there in Windows Media Player.

OK, so I have 2 movie files, I try to integrate into my movie.  I'm kinda new to this I'mnot as long as what is relevant.  Firsty, when I check the properties of the offending file, it lists as avideo file , while the other file (who plays cound in WMM) lists asvideo with audio.  I don't know how to change this property.  As I said, ago audio when I play in real player and Windows Media Player.  Is there a setting that I have inadvertently changed?

    Any help would be appreciated.

Might be interesting to try to convert the .avi files to the
format .wmv before you import it into Movie maker.

    The following freeware can convert:

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

    Format Factory
    http://www.pcfreetime.com/
    (FWIW... installation..., you can uncheck
('all' boxes on the last screen)

First... after the download and installation of Format
Factory... you can open the program and
left click on the toolbar, the "Option" button and
"Select an output folder to" / apply / OK.
(this is where you find your files after they)
    are converted)

Drag and drop your video clips on the main screen...

Select "all to WMV" / OK...

Click on... Beginning... in the toolbar...

    That should do it...

At the top of the timeline, there is (-) and (+) synbols, click the plus sign (+) symbol and you can each time frame is more tender. You need still longer, until it agin clicks. It shows in the timeline panel.
You can also do adjusment to each individual slide, that is, you can create a slide run longer than the others.
To do this, you must do it manually...
Place your cursor on the right of the slide edge > the cursor is transformed into a pointer 2 > left click and hold > drag the cursor where you want to. The "sovereign" in the upper part is the guide.
This manual adjusment will give you more specific term changes, while the sign (+) and (-) options are not.
