How to uninstall Acrobat Reader 5.0?
Original title: netscape navigator
How can I contact Adobe or netscape navigator to uninstall acrobat reader 5.0? I went to AOL, but could not reach their start page for I can go in remove programs.
Hi Dorothy,.
Well join adobe at www.adobe.com . But you don't need to go to remove a program in Windows. To remove a program from Windows go to control panel, select programs and features, and when he opens it opens to uninstall a program page. Just click on the program that you want to uninstall (Adobe Reader) and then click on the word uninstall menu bar. Quite.
Let me know if this solves the problem for you.

How to uninstall Acrobat Pro XI once past the trial period?
The purchase is not an option at the moment (first of all the business - process can take weeks!) and the "readme" files give instructions that cannot be followed because there is no menu available now that the trial period has expired. Right now, I can't open pdf of all files, even if I have a free Acrobat Reader software installed.
Any ideas anyone?
Thanks in advance.
Hello
It seems to me that Adobe Reader is not set by default to handle pdf files, but Acrobat is, and so after the trial expires you are not able to view the pdf files.
Please follow the steps below to change the default program for viewing pdf files
Launch Acrobat / Reader.
Click on the button "Edit" on the toolbar and select "Preferences".
A new window would be developed. On the column on the left, Higlight the 'Général' tab and on the right hand side at the bottom there is a button called "select default PDF Handler."
Click the button and select "Adobe Reader" by default for PDF files. Click 'OK' to save the changes.
Alternatively, you can simply right click on any pdf file and select "open with...". ">"Choose default program"and select"Adobe Reader"in the list of programs.
Make sure that check the option at the bottom that says "always use the selected program to open this type of file".
Click 'OK' to save the changes.
To uninstall Acrobat you can simply uninstall in Control Panel > programs or use the Acrobat cleaning tool: http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html

How to uninstall Acrobat DC testversion in the creative cloud desktop application?
The application of CC in Windwos 10 Desktop offers Acrobat DC that I do not use and do not want. But it's still there and I did not get were uninstalled.
Does anyone know how to remove the CC Apps ads?
Thanks, Andreas
If it is not, it is not installed.
But I do not understand why you do not want to install, because Acrobat is the only application that can open any PDF correctly and when you work with other Adobe applications, you create a PDF file and the only tool which can their evidence is Acrobat Pro DC.

How to uninstall Acrobat DC 2015.016.20041
I installed the latest version of Acrobat Reader and I hate it, I'm not able to work with this program. How do I uninstall it and go back to the previous version? Thank you.
Hi canguri ,.
To uninstall Adobe Reader from your Mac, you can directly remove the application from the Applications folder, which is just trash/Applications/Adobe Reader.app.
Also, this can cause a break in the features of Safari to read PDF files using Adobe Reader plugin. To resolve this problem, go into/Library/Internet Plug - Ins / and remove AdobePDFViewer.plugin and AdobePDFViewerNPAPI.plugin
Then restart the computer and install the Adobe Reader application from this link: Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

I signed up for a free 30 day trial of Adobe Acrobat. After that I decided not to go forward, I learned that Adobe had automatically changed all my default settings for PDF for Adobe Reader of Adobe Acrobat. Now that the trial is over, whenever I have download a PDF doc, it is automatically registered as an Adobe Acrobat - so I can not open in Adobe Reader. Do I need to uninstall the Acrobat from Adobe from my system (blocked software given the test is completed)? Will be present-installing, this may affect any other aspect of my PDF docs or Adobe Reader recorded? Would appreciate your help. Kathie
Control Panel > programs and features, select Acrobat and uninstall. After the uninstall, that it might be good to run http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html and remove anything to the left of the Acrobat folder. You will need to reinstall, or at least repair, drive.
