How to uninstall Windows XP Security Center 2011 when I can't download anything and that my office is black caused by the virus?

Windows XP Security 2011 Center has taken over my computer so I can't access all the programs and the desktop is black. How can I get rid of this? I can open in safe mode, but have had no chance of this and the solutions of regedit, I saw posted on the internet do not match the entries that I have.

Hi Rob Rok.

You'll need to start in safe mode with network and later download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner to remove the infections by the virus of the computer.

I'm going to erase my computer before you donate. My computer is really old and the operating drive that I said it's for Windows XP with SP 1 Professional.

I tried to reinstall with this CD, but he told me that the service current pack on the computer is newer than the one on the CD, so he couldn't reinstall. I figured out that the SP3 has been installed and uninstalled SP3 from Add/Remove programs box.
Then, the computer is down to SP2. When I went to do the same with SP2, I can't find it in the add/remove menu. I see Windows Updates and a whole bunch of them, but none that said service pack 2.
I went through a lot of pages talking using the term of order etc etc, but nothing works.

How to uninstall Windows Live Mesh Remote desktop.  I can't uninstall it & it continues to send an error message?

    Hello

    What is the error message?

If you have enabled Live Mesh Remote Desktop, you must be running Windows Vista as an administrator (a type of user account that allows full access to the computer,
including the ability to install programs and manage other user accounts.) to uninstall the Live Mesh software.

  • On windows 7 premium with IE9 homne, I can't download anything.

When I start the download, a small box opens at the bottom of the window that says that the file is safe.  But as soon as the file is downloaded it says that the file is damaged, there was a problem with the file when he tried to launch or windows has determined file was "potentially dangerous".  Can't windowsupdate either, and it does not update microsoft repair tool.  I was able to download the updated antivirus with Advanced System Care, but absolutely nothing else will download.  Is it a setting in windows? I completely formatted the disk and retrieved the disk system, but the problem persists.  What can I do?

I use windows 7... When I try to download anything on the internet, the download could not be finished it will post about 100KB more or less, and then download it interruptions can be solved without reinstalling windows?

    Hello

-What security software is installed on your computer?

Please, try the following methods and check if you are able to download files.

    Method 1:

Try to download a file on SkyDrive (www.skydrive.live.com) for a test. If the file can be downloaded very well, you may need to contact support for sites to help.

    Method 2:

Step 1: Log in safe mode with network and try to download files.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

If you are able to download files from networking in safe mode, and then put the computer to boot and check.

Step 2: Put the computer to boot.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual. See step 7 in the article.

    Method 3:

    Optimization of Internet Explorer.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/help/Internet-Explorer/slow-five-tips-to-boost-performance

Note: The Reset Internet Explorer Settings feature might reset security settings or privacy settings that you have added to the list of Trusted Sites. Reset the Internet Explorer settings can also reset parental control settings. We recommend that you note these sites before you use the reset Internet Explorer settings

    Method 4:

Disable temporarily installed in your computer security software and check.

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

  • How to stop Vista Security Center 2011 to block access to the internet

My sons laptop has been mess up since yesterday afternoon. There McAffee Antivirus, who has never been a problem, however, "Security Center Vista 2011' at random is appeared for the first time, automatically scanned the computer and reported 25 viruses. For this reason, whenever it opens Internet Explorer to surf the net, a pop-up appears telling him that he is infected. If it it closes its doors, the internet charge only to be saying the same thing again, and if you choose to continue to sail on the same message appears, telling him that he is infected. If we go on the Vista Security Center to try to adjust the settings, it leaves us not as customization options are 'greyed out '. He asks us to buy a full version which we don't want.

We had McAffee scan for these viruses, and it reported a Trojan horse which he deleted. I then rebooted the laptop and the computer starts downloading Vista SP1. It took about an hour to install it. I was hoping that the errors were corrected, however it is still preventing us access to Web sites, saying each site Web is "infected." Several windows pop up appears regularly telling us that the computer is infected and asked to purchase a full version of Vista Security Center 2011.

Please help, as we have tried a lot of things, and we cannot remove this security program.

    -Simon

Hi there, Ok vista security center 2011 is a virus. You need a better program Antimalware too to roll all this crapy virus!, I wrote this a month ago. You need too download malwarebyets you can find it here on this link http://www.malwarebytes.org/, download the free version, then you will see a desktop icon of this anti-malware program. You need also side click on it and run as administrator, then it will start up. Now DO a FULL system SCAN, not a quick analysis. It should take about 40mins or so. Now, you will see at least 4 bad Trojan and a virus. Now delete 'em, then after restart PC... Do the same thing again. After the scan is complete, and no virus found... System Restore to a point over 5 days. When we know that when the computer was working no probs then you done everything;), Post back on here to see how you are thereby. Thanks Dion.

  • How to uninstall windows media center?

How to uninstall windows media center? It keeps opening up, and I can't open all the files, pls help...

    See - http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/15530/uninstall-disable-or-remove-windows-7-media-center/ - perhaps?

But if she "continues to open and you cannot open all files" maybe something is seriously wrong somewhere else. If he goes much evil that is, no file opens, then when it started to happen? It has been recently? you got whatever it is installed again just before the problem occurred? If then possibly consider to delete that or try a "restore point" at one point, just before the error started.

  • I have 2 problems-how can I activate my Add ons and how to uninstall Windows Anti Virus. I need help, please.

I have Windows XP 32-bit with IE8 Add ons.  I mainly use Firefox Mozilla for my browser and Yahoo as my home page.  Anyway, I have tried all the support and help guide and technicians told me to do to get add ons to open and activate but in vain.  This computer was given to me as a profession, and it was used in a Bank, so I think that the system administrator has disabled the add ons.  I myself as an administrator and use the tips and tricks given windows and Microsoft, but I always run up a wall.  I need help, please.
I also need to know how to uninstall Windows antivirus software.  I can't find anywhere on my computer.  I feel really stupid and he is probably right in front of my face, but I can't find it to uninstall.  I have McAfee that I paid dearly for if I want to use it until it expires.

This "Microsoft antivirus' witness (AKA Trojan W32/FakeAlert) hijackware infection!

If you manage to somehow move to Win7, you will always have an infected computer.

The ONLY way to solve the problem is by formatting the current hard drive and do a clean installation of Windows, whether it is WinXP or Win7.

The ONLY way you can do a clean install of Windows XP if you have disks that came with the computer or if by chance, there is a hidden partition restore (not to be confused with the system restore).

If your kids er - well & their spouses are going to spend money on a new HARD drive, they'be be better spend on a low-end Windows 7 computer and brand-new (for example, a netbook or a mini).

NB: Any data on your Windows XP computer must be considered 100% reliable! (This includes all of your usernames and passwords, for example, those used for online banking, etc.) You do NOT want to put ALL the data from Windows XP to a new computer or HARD disk.

Good luck, Grandma. Hope that your grandchildren will treat you better than their parents.

How to uninstall windows 10 and reinstall windows 7

I do not recommend coming back because I've seen too much to go wrong.
Returning can be done only if you have installed in the past 30 days (if you created a new user, you should remove it before come back you)

Back on the settings > update & security > Recovery > roll back to a previous operating system

This will only work if the windows.old and 2 hidden folders ($Windows. ~ WS & Windows $. ~ BT) are still present.  If you do that you will need to re - install.

  • How to uninstall Windows XP PRO so that I can install Windows Pro 8.1?

Problem? My Windows XP PRO is not listed in the control panel. (The system came with the new computer).

I want to uninstall, & replace it with Windows 8.1 pro (disk).

Is it done in safe mode? Also how a clean uninstallation is completed?

MS says that an upgrade is not possible (since '23 programs, etc. need attention').

All advice appreciated. Best regards, Doug

Original title: how to uninstall Windows XP PRO, which is not listed in the control panel?

Of course, it is not in the control panel. This isn't how it works. You must reformat and perform a new installation of Windows 8.

Your computer will not be able to be upgraded. You must consult the computer manufacturer to see if there is even the disks available to this end for Windows 8. Probably not.

And, even if all the drivers were available, you always have to reinstall ALL your programs and data on the medium of origin or files and backup of the date.
