It makes me upset. I can't synchronize my palm with my laptop (Intel Core 2 Duo CPU).
What can I do?
If you have installed the software and have not yet synchronized your device and no data was exchanged then I recommend to delete the software on your computer and try again.
Here are the steps, note that uninstalling differs from a regular uninstall - try the best you can, if you're having a party that your not sure then ignore steps.

You should first make a copy of your data to have just in case something is happening. You can find your data files by going to C:\Program Files\Palm or A Palm. Highlight your Palm Desktop user name and right click and copy. Then, go to the desktop of your PC, right-click on a blank spot block and select.
Now you want to uninstall Palm Desktop and remove anything that has to do with Palm Desktop on your computer. As the folder above, remove the Palm folder. Once this is done, you need to delete some registry keys your registry PC operating system.

As you already use windows 8 on your system, you can try to upgrade to windows 8.1. However, there are some system requirements that are needed to run windows 8.1 correctly on your system. Please see the link below for the topic of system requirements.
Outside the system requirements, you will also need the windows 8.1-compatible drivers. There is a possibility that some devices may not work if the compatible drivers for windows 8.1 are not installed on your system. Driver are manufactured by the manufacturer of the system. It seems that Dell has not made drivers for windows 8.1.

I don't know about other issues. There are always 'problems' with any upgrade. You weigh against the benefits. I know that you need more RAM. At least 4 GB, maybe more if you can. Don't forget that this system is produced at a time when most of the machines have + 8 GB RAM and when Apple said 'minimum' they really mean it. I recently inherited a MacBook that has 2 GB of RAM and the Mavericks. When I checked the memory, the use of the system was using 1.95 GB = nothing to run applications!
The BIOS does not overclocking and design of the product is not tested for changes such as change of voltage or clock speed.
If the laptop is damaged by, it would not be guaranteed by ch. DO so at YOUR OWN RISK.

I am unable to start my Vista Home premium PC using my Intel core 2 duo processor. Initially, my PC came with an Intel P4 - 641, which I've upgraded to a processor E4700 Intel core 2 duo. I had no problem with the upgrade for four years until recently where it would not start. I get the message to repair windows. I tried to repair and restore the windows are done everything to nothing. I even bought a new hard drive and a different processor - core 2 duo Intel E6600. I think you're right about the minimum specifications... but you should still be able to oprate even at a slow speed.
How you try to import and please don't have threads/post in various forums and with similar questions. It wastes a lot of time reading the same or similar things and more.
I have a Tecra A8 (PTA83E-04R039EN) T7200/1024 / 100 G 54/15WT/DS2/L/M, it has a sticker on the top for Intel centrino duo processor. All read ups and support show is a processor core 2 duo with 4 MB of cache.
However when I do a utility ID of Intel processors and software benchmark, it shows me that the processor I have is actually a Celeron M with 1 MB of cache.
This is correct? Have I received the wrong processor in my machine or what? Hope someone can answer this.
I installed Vista and it also shows that it is a Celeron M 1.73 GHz?

There is no Intel of CS2 version. It's only PowerPC.
That said, OS X 10.6.8 can run PowerPC applications but only if Rosetta is installed. Rosetta is not installed by default on Snow Leopard.

I have a MacBook Pro 17 withProcessor - in 2.33 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo (circa 2007). Running OS 10.7.5 (Lion). System indicates the computer is not compatible with OS later. Hardware can be upgraded to the latest processors and other components to make it compatible with the latest OS. I think that later models of Macbook Pro 17-inch with processors that allow updates.
