  Follow these steps to get the applications (if it is not already installed):

  1. Go to the Windows store
  2. Search for "HP AiO Remote" apps
  3. Install the apps.
  4. Apps should detect your wireless printer, depending on the applications, there is a function "Scan."
  5. Click the Scan and it will direct allows you to download apps "Scan and capture.
  6. After installation, you should be able to scan.

  Highest shown work in the office and our Photosmart HP 7520 will not copy. Used the automatic feeding system and the setting on the glass. I tried to color and BW. Document will display in the preview, but will be a blank page when you select copy. Tried a difficult start - same results. Printer scans very well. Printer can get documens sent to her very well. Just empty pages on the copy function.

  Thanks for the reply Marcelus. I think that the problem is solved. I removed the HP software and made a few corrections to my OS registry. Then reinstalled the HP software without some of the programs extranous. I don't see any errors related to HP for the moment.

  It's a clean install of Windows 7 Pro x 64. During installation, I used the Microsoft Automated Installation Kit (AIK) to move my user folder and the ProgramData folder to drive D:\. Apparently, the AIK operation has a few bugs. There are two registry keys that were not updated with the new location of the car and a still show Shell Folders on drive C:\. The affect is that programs created new ProgramData folders on drive C:\ while most have been created on the disk D:\.  I uninstalled a few programs that have been affected by the conflict to register and published the registy to be compatible with the users folder and the ProgramData folder on the drive D:\.  Everything is going well at the moment.

  You have a memory card or a USB key connected to the printer?  If Yes, please remove and restart the printer.  Try printing without anything cards or USB connected.

  Clear the PRINT TO FILE option in Acrobat or Adobe Reader. It will be somewhere in the print dialog boxes.

  Until now what I was doing. I went into Device Manager, printers, and I uninstalled it. Then I went into settings, equipment and removed from the appliance.

  Upddate messages still appeared.

  In Device Manager, I noticed 6 unknown devices listed. When I went in their properties; events; There are mentions making reference to 7520 printer the latest in yesterday something on the installation of the printer. Should I uninstall these too?

• Photosmart HP 7520: scan hp connects to the scanner

  I have a new MacBook Pro that came with installed Yosemite.  I think that HP Scan frequently does not connect to my scanner HP Photosmart 7529 using my wifi.  I get an error indicating that the scanner... is currently unavailable.  I called the service of HP and their only solution was to do the following in order: 1. turn off the router, 2 disable the 7520, 3 put the router 4 switch 7520.  Now, it works but it happens regularly and frankly is quite a pain and I'm sure is not how it is supposed to work.

  The scanner worked well with my previous MacBook Pro (OSX Lion).  The scanner also works through preferences, but that method has very limited functionality.  How can I get this problem?

  My printer does not search my computer or e-mail.  -says no computer is found when I select send to computer so when I select - print to email it says successful analysis, send to e-mail, your scanned document is being sent by e-mail, but when I go to my email there is no email in my Inbox.  I've just updated my driver to see if my driver update would fix my problem, but nothing has changed.  I ran a network HP configeration page and a diagnostic report.  I received a report saying 'no problems found. Congratulations for the success in place of your wireless printer.

  I can send documents to print without problem, but scanning is not the case.  In January, I sent a fax with no problem either.  Why I can not scan?

  I understand that you can not make copies with your HP Photosmart 7520. I'm happy to discuss this issue for you!

  A few questions for you:

  • You use genuine HP cartridges or refills?
  • None of your ink cartridges are empty or low?
  • You see error messages on the display of the printer, when you try to copy?
  • If you lift the lid of the scanner during the copy, do you see a light come on? And the bar moving scanner?

  In the meantime, please try a hard reset by accessing this post, How to perform a hard reset, by @Rich1. It is important that the power cable from the printer is plugged directly into the wall outlet, not a surge protector. Questions when it is connected to an uninterruptible power supply/Strip/surge protector power. This is true for printers and ink jet.

  I try to connect my Samsung Android Smartphone with WIFI to connect to my PRINTER HP PHOTOSMART 7520 and my phone is to send a message to log on using a password. I don't remember the password for the printer. On scan my phone WIFI, indicated for my printer name is HP-Print-36-Photosmart 7520. When I click on that name, on what he's going to another screen for me click to connect. The name of the same printer listed on the previous screen but it says under the name of security and this word says WPA2 PSK.   I understand that when you connect your Samsung device you network it is called HP-Print-36-Photosmart 7520 and then try to connect it asks for a password. I would like to help.

  Looks like you are trying to connect to the printer using the Direct wireless signal. If it is the Direct wireless, you try to connect to, you can get the password by using the control panel of the printer.

  1. press on the Wireless icon on the control panel of the printer.

  2. tap settings at the bottom left.

  3. tap on Wireless Direct.

  4. tap show password.
