How to use the railways imported from Photoshop/Illustrator as guides of movement

Hi people,

I was raking the internet unsuccessfully for an answer to my question, but I had no luck so far.

I hope realize animation wise is to have a form to move a path together created in Photoshop. The reason is, it is a very specific form (close enough a square but with curved corners and a piece missing on one side), and I used the path feature in Photoshop to create and the path for the smoothest possible effect of race. What I would ideally like to, it's the same way I used to create the shape in Flash Professional CS6 and then use this same path to guide a small symbol on the perimeter of the place of import.

So far, I worked on how to apply the movement to a symbol through interpolations of base, then I can draw a line with the pencil tool and which apply to the interpolation it follow the trace in pencil instead of just get from point A to point B. The problem is, it's horrible... I'm not good enough with a mouse to create absolutely perfect freehand shapes, so I just want to be able to use the path of Photoshop as my guide of movement instead of having to make a new one from scratch.

I looked around many import methods, the greatest success I have had is export paths to Illustrator file, and then import the Illustrator file into Flash directly. However, I have NO idea where these paths to go when they are imported, or how to access. If I import them to the scene, they apparently disappear before I've even seen them, and if I import them into the library that they just aren't there.

I could also make a brief description of the operation of railways in Flash - me are familiar with the presentation of Photoshop, what with the paths that appear in a panel beside the layers one (perfect me seems logical, because you can simply switch between the two panels to see what you want). I do not understand how they work in Flash and what should I look for...

Thank you very much in advance for any help!

Todd

I just did a quick test to see what the problem might be. It seems that import a schema from Photoshop into Flash converted to a movieClip. If I have to break the movieClip I just get a fill without line. Unfortunately, this fill will not work as a guide. I could use the tool in Flash pen and draw a new line in a new layer, but that's what you try to avoid having to do.

If I take a path in a Photoshop file saved in Illustrator, I can fondle then the path and then save as .ai file. So I can import into Flash. This any path is recognized as an online Flash and will work as a path. You may need to do a cleaning of the line. My quick example were too many points inside.

The guide should be done in one line item in Flash. A movieClip cannot be a pathname. Most often, the path is taken directly from the State with the pencil tool.
