How do you prevent NoScript to be disabled with an update of Firefox. I don't have the time or patience to go through that nonsense, all just because I * improved * Firefox.

  • How to remove the Web bar installed with update of Firefox?

When I updated Firefox with 38.0.1, he installed a HUGE Web Bar at the top of the page with the arrows that take me to odd pages, home takes me to what is called Trovi a huge search the web bar, a drop-down arrow with all installed browsers, an icon for facebook, a sign icon music and the arrow that takes me on You Tube. It is above the original web bar with file, editing, display, history, bookmarks, tools and help on this. How can I remove this? When I right click on it says Web Bar and when I click on everything he says Bar Media Web, Version 2.0 Build 5435.23818 (18/11/2014) and when I click the end user contract, I get a warning from McAfee as a dangerous site! A recent series of infections also falsified the Firefox program folder, if the above does not help, please try:

    Clean reinstall it

We use this name, but it is not about the deletion of your settings, it comes to ensure that program files are-own and contain no alien code files. As described below, this process does not disrupt your existing settings. Don't uninstall NOT Firefox, that does not need.

    (1) download a fresh Installer for Firefox 38.0.1 of https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ in an ideal location. (Scroll down your preferred language).

    (2) close Firefox (if applicable).

    (3) to rename the program folder

    (Windows 64-bit folder names)

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox

    TO

    C:\Program Files (x86)\OldFirefox

    (Windows 32-bit folder names)

    C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox

    TO

    C:\Program Files\OldFirefox

    (4) run the installer you downloaded in the #1. It should automatically connect to your existing settings.

    Any improvement?

Note: Some plugins can only exist in this OldFirefox file. If it is missing something essential, present in these files:

    • \OldFirefox\Plugins
    • \OldFirefox\browser\plugins

You can also check if Firefox has a no standard layout configuration. You can do so here:

"3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > advanced > tab mini network > button "settings".

The default "use system proxy" should piggyback on your Windows/IE 'LAN' settings. But you can try 'No proxy' to see if that makes a difference.

  • How to prevent automatic reboot with windows xp update

    Hello

    ·        What is the service pack installed on your computer?

Windows Update will remind you if you have to restart your PC to continue the installation of an update and you give the option to "reboot now" or will give you the option to postpone the restart. If you are away from your PC for a long period of time, you can see that it automatically restarts your PC. Windows does to make sure all the latest security and other updates are applied in a timely, to help keep your PC safer with little effort for you.

If you are a system administrator and you want to control restart behavior, you can use Group Policy to avoid any automatic restart every time the administrator is connected.

  • How can I manually remove an update?

Windows installed a pair of optional of 3rd third-party updates. Problems and I want to delete them. How can I remove updates? I don't see them on the program Panel to install, or I don't see an option to delete, on the Panel to view the update history.

    Hello AlexaRaven,

A list of the installed updates is available, as said by Loulou, in the installed display updated programs and features.

Locate the update that you want to delete, and then right-click on it. You should then see an uninstall option that you have to click to uninstall the update.

It should be recalled, however, that once uninstalled, Windows Update will again offer to install. If you don't want to not re-installed, right-click on the update in Windows Update, and click the option "Hide update". The update will not be installed.

    Hi pawel,.

You can try to use the conditional Structure to disable.  See its help herefile.  However, I don't think one of its default conditions will be particularly useful for you.

It would be easier to place the code criminalized in a matter of Structure controlled by a Boolean simple button on your front.  If you want to run code, set the Boolean true.  If this isn't the case, set it false and let the piece fake the empty structure.  Who should take care of it.  Good luck with your codes!

  • Updated for Firefox 18.0 and now windows wrap incorrectly, with more and more of the right part of the window appears on the left when you get off.

Update Firefox 18,0 on a MacBook running Mac OS 10.6. Non-static moment of window display areas (squares url & search, main area of window, etc.) incorrectly, similar to what happens when a program thinks that the image (for example) is 500 pixels wide, when its actually 512 pixels wide. Each line after the first begins with what is "still" line above, resulting in an image that appears tilted, with what should be the right of the image progressively more appearing on the left side of the image. No other programs (including Safari) do seem to be having this problem, and it appeared immediately after the upgrade. Minimize the window in the Dock, and then reopen temporarily solves the problem. As soon as I scroll the window, the problem reappears.

  • How to prevent the launch automatically plug-ins Firefox on Mac?

Is there an extension that prevents the launch automatically the Firefox plug-ins? When I open a new link, any video on the page automatically begins to play, usually after that I scrolled before the video to read that I'm here for, while I have to scroll upwards or downwards to find in order to stop - slow and slows down my browser - at least it seems to do. Can you help me? Thank you

Individual plugins can be set to "Click to play" so that they do not start automatically. You can give permission to sites allows to run plugins on a page by page basis or on a site-by-site basis.

Open the Add-ons page for the Plugins section:

Tools menu > Modules > in the left column, click on Plugins

Then for Shockwave Flash, for example, or for QuickTime, change the selector "Always enable" to "ask to activate.

When you reach a page that wants to use one of these plugins, you will see at least one of them:

    • icon in the address bar that looks like a piece of Lego
    • notification on a gray rectangle dark where video normally would appear
    • information bar slides between the toolbar and the top of the page

In the dialog box, you can approve the plugin for the current page, or "remember" who approves all pages of the site.

Try it and see what you think.

  • Updated for Firefox 33 yesterday, and now all of my favorites have disappeared. How can I get back them?

    Have to remind all bookmarks

    Hello

Sorry to hear about this. First of all, Firefox automatically creates backups of your bookmarks, which can be useful if your bookmarks are lost or missing.

    1. Click the Bookmarks button

      (or

(> Favorites), select show all bookmarks.

    2. At the top of the library window, click on import and backup , and then select restore.
    3. Click on the date of the backup of bookmarks you want to recover.
    4. In the new window that appears, click OK.
    5. Your bookmarks in the selected date should now be restored.

For more information, see the article restore bookmarks from a backup or move them to another computer . For alternatives, see the article of recover lost or missing bookmarks .

If the above does not work, it could be that a file has been corrupted (namely the places.sqlite file). You can install the extension of Maintenance of places to run maintenance on the file. Firefox did an update to 'work seamlessly with Win 10'. When Firefox is restarted, ALL MY FAVORITES HAVE DISAPPEARED. I went to the library and tried to restore the bookmarks. It won't!
