HP 110 series Desktop: processor upgrade

I tried to search and check for a better processor for my computer because it works a lot of rather slow video games.

I know that I don't have a computer game its was just, I could afford it has lots of ram and a terrabite of storage space, and the graphics are fantastic as well. Me personally I like the computer. I just need that she is able to render faster and process faster. What is compatible with my computer Cpu? Also is there anything else that I needed to upgrade that should help you? Thanks for the help.

Side note: great company customers love Hp and excellent service. Never had a problem.

    Hello

Given that your PC has a capacity of limited power, I would say that the replacement of the processor i3-4160 with either a processor i7-4690 or i7-4790.  That would give you a bump in the processor and graphics performance.

Another alternative would attempt a low power AMD R4 340 such or the NVIDIA GT 740 graphics card.

The limitation of the power of your PC is a big concern.  Maybe HP support can provide you with additional advice.

    Hello

Looking at two documents, you can see that they are not on the same date. Depending on when, so very difficult to say. HP had some series that could go for a few years. HP now put G0, G1, G2, and these 'generations' lives a little easier.

Given that the two documents are for G1, this may be true, and you must upgate BIOS.

    Kind regards.

Hey guys! I was wondering if I can get a feedback about upgrading my computer. I recently bought a 6823w for a good price and wish to update. Fortunately, I did my homework before this post and would be grateful if someone can check links (all Newegg) and verified that they should all sit and work.

Main concerns also include the temperature. I understand the processor and graphics can run more hot right now, however, I perfectly agree with opening the case and let the heat. My room tends to stay cool in the winter, in any case. Input would be much appreciated... Thanks in advance!

  • HP 110-352na desktop PC: update my graphics card

Im trying to buy a new graphics card which is ASUS STRIX R9 380 OC Gaming graphics card for this computer: HP 110-352na desktop PC. Right now I use AMD Radeon HD 8400 / R3 series. Well, I want to know if the Asus graphics card fits, and if it's working properly.

    Greetings,

Your PC comes with a external power supply 65 watt portable. I don't think it's possible to switch to an internal power supply because of the limitations of the chassis.

THA Asus only graphics card requires up to 225 watts just to power the card.

  • processor upgrade

What would be the best processor upgrade for my

    Compaq Presario SR5412NL desktop PC

It's running windows vista 32 bit, I'll upgrade my memory to 4 GB.

I use the most for Photoshop/Illustrator pc it seems to slow my pc down when I use these programs simultaneous.

And would it be another option to run these programs from an ssd instead of the HD that make a difference?

You are the very welcome, Suzan.

I would say that the safe bet for the best processor the E7400.

Your PC was introduced in March 2008.

I fear the E7500 and E7600 that came out in 2009, will not be managed because I can't update the BIOS of your PC that adds support for the latest processors.

  • Processor upgrade questions

    Hi all.

(For a year or two), I have the HP Pavilion p7-1235 with is provided with processor A8-5500 and 7560 integrated graphics. I intend to add a discrete GPU to 7750 and a 500 Watt power supply. I use this desktop computer for everyday tasks, surf the web, etc. But I also play casual games on Steam. I also have the Sims 3 (base game) is installed.  The last time I played this game, fifiteen minutes at the level of the fan (I guess CPU) kicking on.  It also happened when I tried Roller Coaster Tycoon 3.

Now I don't know if it of because the cpu is dusty or cannot handle these 2 games. According to the technical specifications of HP, I know I can upgrade the processor to an A10-5700 or A10 - 5800 k? It would give me better performance game-wise? Or just do the upgrade to graphical power and power would be sufficient? Also, when a processor upgrade, would I have to mess with the BIOS?

    http://h20565.www2.HP.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.page/public/KB/docDisplay/?sp4ts.Oid=5187022&SPF...

Set to upgrade to an A10-5700 will provide that almost no improvement in the CPU of the tasks not related. Upgrading an A10 - 5800K provide a 5% improvement in CPU related tasks. Your best bet is too make sure all dirt and dust is collected inside the case, fans and heat sinks. Then install the GPU and PSU upgrades and monitor your computer for the fan kicks at the top. With the GPU load moved to the discreet graphics card, the APU (UC) should be less stressed.

  • HP 110-194 desktop PC: updates pilot Windows 10: is a 8.1 update good enough?

I know there is the information on Windows 10 updates, but when I run the update drivers under support page here:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-110-100-desktop-PC-series/5395594/model/5398925?s...

It identifies my machine, but can not take it to the next stage - identification softward drivers and delivers this message instead:

HP has encountered an error when trying to analyze your product.

Please verify that your product is turned on and connected, and then try again in a few minutes.

Alternatively, display all drivers available for your product below.

If I ignore this and say it's an OS 8.1, however, it brings up a bunch of drivers that need to be updated.   It would be prudent to simply update these drivers even if the machine is no longer an OS 8.1, or is asking for trouble?

Still, I don't ask this because the product support page is not able to detect the OS of my machine and then make a list of the drivers that are associated with.

10 Windows installs the latest drivers, so I don't pretend to install the HP drivers.
