There is no "Advance Setting" user that you are configuring. If user settings does not have this option, then you do not have this option.

  • Mac Pro early 2008 adding ram problems

I recently added RAM to my Mac Pro early 2008. The Mac Pro recognizes only 4 of 8 memory locations. I moved the slots and moved the memory and all slots and all the memories are good. No matter where I put them, or what memory I use, the Mac Pro will see 4 of 8. Any suggestions? Yosemite run 10.10.5, trying to fill all 8 locations with 800 mhz 2 GB DDR2 FB - DIMM.

    How are new?

Where have you bought the new?

    All new are identical?

All the 'old' are the same?

After adding RAM 48 MB on my HP2300DN, on the control panel appear 'uninitialized disk '.  I tried to do a cold reset and replace DIMM Slot2 and Slot3, but without success.  Any help would be really appreciated.

    DIMM location 2:

Side 1: 1 MB of ROM memory

    Side 2: empty

FLASH storage capacity: 3 MB capacity

    Total memory 96 MB

    Hard drive: No.

    Model number: Q2475A

You probably confuse the printer. You seem to be using 2 DIMMS that are 48Mo and each also 8 mb flash. These chips contain the firmware in the flash section and the memory in the other. Since you're probably using a chip LJ2300 another dimm, you confuse the printer with 2 firmwares. You must use a barrette of memory 32, 64 or 128 in the 3rd slot. Only 1 chip 8/48 MB can be used in this printer.

  • Flickering screen 17 Alienware r3 after adding ram

I have a new r3 Alienware 17 it came with 8 GB of ram, I just added ram 2x16gb 2133 corsair.  When I put power back on the screen started to Flash, it is very pronounced in the office when I open the start menu.  I checked the BIOS is updated.  I put the old RAM in and flicker went.

I checked that this computer is rated for 32 GB, so I wonder what I do wrong or if I need to update other elements to make this work.

    Any help is appreciated!

Could be many things, software packages to the specifics of the hardware. We usually use Kingston, Toshiba, Samsung and Hynix.

  • Inspiron 530 - adding RAM

    Hello

    I want to buy a memory to my inspiron 530! Here > http://accessories.euro.dell.com/sna/category.aspx?c=uk&l=en&s=dhs&cs=ukdhs1&category_id=4325&mfgpid=1226170&chassisid=-1<- the="" 1="" gb="" module="" (28="">

I read on documentation (http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/inspd530/en/OM/HTML/parts.htm#wp1580857) when I install memory I need to remove the PCI Express x 16 card... I don't understand. I thought adding ram was simple and all you had to do is open the case, insert the ram and secure them correctly and then close the case. Start the pc and it's done.

I know that my inspiron 530 can have only 4 GB of ram. I have 2 GB of ram for now.

Is there something I need to know? Is there something different?

Dell is not offering Win7 drivers for this model. I suggest you go here and read some of the links on the upgrade to Windows 7. Run the Win 7 Upgrade Advisor first to see what it says on your system.

Without knowing what equipment you have (for example, video card, sound card, network adapter, etc.), it is impossible for anyone to tell you exactly what drivers you need. In some cases, but not all cases, Vista 64-bit drivers can work. The Vista 64 drivers are here. (Confirms that he says again Vista 64-bit upstairs when you load the page!) And if you use your Service tag (do not post here!) you can find a list of drivers installed Dell, so at least you will know what hardware you have, but keep in mind these drivers for Vista 32 bit.

You can also go here for links to the hardware and instructions to install Win 7. And you can search these forums for discussions on installing Win 7 on the Inspiron 530 to see which other users may have met problems.

  • HP nc6400 Business Notebook: adding RAM nc6400 and part numbers

    Vista Home Basic 32-bit SP2

Dear friends, hope that your door!

I have a HP nc6400 and I would go from 1.5 GB RAM.

I understand that I can install as much as 4GBs? Let's just say I have add 1 GB or 2 GB how much improvement
    If I could hope?

I don't want to spend a lot of money with a thisage computer, BUT I know that she will behave better with more RAM.

Will I need to make changes by adding more RAM?

Finally, what are the part numbers for the 1 GB and 2 GB memory expansion sticks?

I would ask the HP numbers for these upgrades of RAM that I couldn't find them anywhere

Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
    Sincerely, Ralph

    Hi, Ralph:

At that time, the standard was 1 GB under the keyboard.

No doubt if a customer wanted to have the phone set to 2 x 2 GB, they would have paid a huge premium for this option.

Today, with fancy Web page and operating systems graphics devours more memory, 1 GB is next to useless.

  • Adding ram to HP G72 - b10SV Notebook PC

I can add 2 x 4 GB of ram for my PC portable HP G72-b10SV, who has already installed a 2 + 1 GB ram?

You can mix speeds as long as none is slower than what you need. More quick memory will be downclock. Ideally, you want to install 2 identical modules. The memory is faster in mode "dual channel" and it means the same thing 2. You'll probably notice a great improvement in throwing the 1 GB module and install an another identical module 2 GB, and 2 GB of DDR3 modules are very cheap.

Can I extend the RAM of my laptop? He there wrote nothing in the specifications can I increase the RAM. How many Slots is free in this laptop? And I can then expand what RAM should I buy (see the brand and type of RAM)? I wanted to add more than 4 GB.

Yes, here is the Service Manual:

    Manual

You have 2 slots and a 4 GB module is in one of them you can easily add a second module of 4 GB in the empty slot that I recommend, or you could actually add a module of 8 GB for a total of up to 12 concerts.

Page 42 shows how to add it. You need the memory SO-DIMM of DDR3L-1600 bars. Let us know if you need help to find a good deal on the memory you need. Tell us the country that you live if you do.

  • Adding RAM to Satellite L50-A-1EH

    Hello
I recently bought a Toshiba Satellite L50-A-1EH. I wanted to add an additional 4 GB of Ram up to a total of 8 GB. The laptop has 2 slots and is expandable to 16 GB, so it should be easily achievable.

The problem is however that I tried several types of modules, but none seem to work. I've tried different brands such as Corsair, Kingston, Transcend, but after installation and put into the laptop market, it stops after a few seconds.

I called technical support Toshiba who gave me a certain module Kingston Toshiba, which I also tried, but with the same result (Kingston Toshiba pa5104u-1m4g).

The only that worked, was the exact same module already included in the notebook.
I took this one on an another L50-A-1EH in the store.
However, the problem is that this module is not sold in regular stores.

I tried various things, the BIOS updates, switching to the top modules, in one of the modules, put 2 of the same thing, but nothing seems to work. I've mailed to Toshiba and their response was that it should work, otherwise I should call the support desk, but because of the interview, they are not available until this Tuesday.

Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem?

Well, usually it takes not a big problem to use the modules developed by other manufacturers. I use modules of different brand, but to be honest, I had the best experience using the modules of Kingston.

However, I found the modules recommended for the L50 - A Satellite and generally these modules must be compatible:

    8GB DDR3L - 1600 PA5104U-1M8G
    4 GB DDR3L - 1600 PA5104U-1M4G

You should be able to get these pieces of registered maintainer Toshiba in your country.

  • adding ram

I have a Pavilion media center desktop computer. Product M8010y ggo6av #aBa. It came with Vista and has 3 1/2 RAM. I can 't find someone to tell me if I can add more to it. I have upgraded to win 7. Does anyone know if more can be added. Thank you.

    Hello:

Here the link to the profile for memory upgrade for your model.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c00916901

You need to install a 64-bit operating system so that Windows to address more than 4 GB of memory.

Any version of Windows (XP, Vista, W7) you have.  As long as it is 64-bit.

  • Adding RAM to my HP 500-336

    [original message]

    Recently, I buy a HP 500-336.

It came with a single chip 4 Gb. and bought by mistake three 4 Gb. additional chips to get the maximum for the 16 GB model.  Assuming that I'll be able to return, how can I determine which specific Gb 8. chips to buy.  Although I worked on all computers has four sockets, this particular model has only two.

    Ke welalin/Thank you very much!
    [/ original message]

I added another issue because using the correct chips, I STILL can't get it working properly.

A 8 Gb. chip will work but adding a second just prevents the machine allowing the operating system to start even get gold in the configuration.    Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Here are the specifications of the motherboard of your PC.

    This might work, for example.

    You need a 8 GB, 240-pin DIMM, DDR3 PC3-10600, or PC3 - 12800

1333 MHz or 1600 MHz respectively.

ADD: don't forget that your RAM will quickly work the module more slow so either buy two 1333 MHz or 1600 Mhz modules two.

You can not upgrade/change VGA of the notebook, but you can upgrade RAM. A special type of RAM is used in laptops like these . To change the RAM, follow these steps:

    1. remove the screws from the bottom of the laptop.

    2. you will see two RAM as in the link above.

    3. carefully remove the slot and insert your new RAM.

    4. make sure that the new RAM is inserted properly
