Wireless hub works, other computers are connected
On a laptop, I lost the ability to connect wirelessly to the internet (message: limited connectivity)
Recommended by the system solution: reset or repair your access point or wireless router
How can I do?
I think that what you aim for is "power cycle".
To do this, simply unplug the router/access point power adapter. Wait a minute. Then reconnect it.
Hope this helps

my laptop cannot connect wirelessly to the internet with the built-in wireless adapter
G50-118NR my client specification identifies my network home qwest DSL WPA2 as public wireless whenever I connect wireless using the Atheros AR5007 802 wireless network adapter. 11 b / g WiFi and does not connect to the internet. I can change the Private type, but it does not help. I have restored the laptop using Vista Home Prem 32-bit recovery CD and that did not help. The wired connection works perfectly and other 'g' and 'n' USB wireless adapters also work very well.
Hello:
Please read my post on the link below for the Atheros cards and newer routers, and see if you install the latest Atheros driver I posted on it works for you.

I just bought the HP notebook 15-r211na and cannot install the network drivers.
Initially, the network drivers do not appear to be installed on the laptop as when I went to the device, under 'Network adapters' Manager, the only thing that he was 'Realtek PCle FE Family Controller.
Since then, I have connected the laptop to my router via an ethernet cable and tried to download and install six network drivers on the site of hp for this laptop, but this did not succeed because it made no difference.
I did it by using the following link: http://support.hp.com/gb-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-15-r200-notebook-pc-series/7486447/model/7633564
Do you have any ideas on what to do next?
Thanks in advance.
You are the very welcome.
If your laptop is still under warranty, contact HP technical support to the country that you live in the link below.

While I'm not a training or trade PC repair technology, your screenshot shows no evidence of any material without wire being installed - with or without a driver.
The most likely cause would be the wireless card has failed and must be replaced.

Unable to connect wireless to the Internet - Atheros - HP Pavilion dm3-1035dx
Hello
Laptop: HP Pavilion dm3-1035dx
I just formatted the computer and the software has been reinstalled. I have the latest Atheros on the Site of HP drivers.
I'm unable to connect to wireless internet, despite what I do. I will try to connect to a network, and it will then show with the little yellow Triangle showing limited access.
Troubleshooting of the shows "wireless network connection is not a valid IP configuration [not not fixed]" and "[detected] problem with wireless adapter or access point.
The wireless router is 2.4 GHz (B + G). Security is WPA2 (AES).
Once I have disable the security for the wireless router I am able to connect to the internet. However, once I got change back to WPA2 (AES) I can no longer connect.
I have crossed the wires and haven't found a working solution. If I could get help that would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
Fixed a problem.
Don't know what he did but the wireless connection is working now.
I turned off my windows firewall. I disabled the router security and was able to connect to the internet.
Then back to WPA2, the connection has failed.
I tried ipconfig / renew ipconfig/release in commmand invites a few times and ipconfig/release would not work ("..") Unable to contact your dhcp server...). However, after several attempts more to play, I was able to connect wirelessly with WPA2 and windows firewall on.
Ipconfig displays now, 192.168.0.1 and not 169.254.61.203

I can't connect wirelessly to the Internet, while other devices are able?
I can't connect to the Internet with my laptop. This began a few days ago. But we can still connect to the Internet via a wireless router with other devices yet. Page says "Internet explorer cannot display the web page. When I click on diagnose connection problems, he said that it is my router or modem. But my other devices still work. I try the other suggestions but they just get into a circle with no result. Any suggestions? Ideas with my veryyyyyyy limited knowledge of computers.
I also had this problem, but my husband seems to have found the answer by searching other responses. The problem seems to be related to windows 8.1.
If you go to control panel, network and internet, then network and sharing Center, click on your WiFi connection, and then select the power management options, you may find that the option to "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is checked.
Uncheck this option seems to have solved my problem, because I had no problems since

I can't connect wirelessly to the internet
My computer will not connect to wireless internet via my Wi - Fi built-in (Intel Centrino Wireless-N 6150). It will however connect via Ethernet. The bars on my taskbar I have access to the internet, but when I try to open a Web page, I get a time-out error. I have Windows 7 Professional 64 - bit, model Samsung NP-QX411-W02UB.
I have already tried:
Restart the computer
Reinstall the driver
Uninstall the driver then installing the stock driver
Restart the Modem
Microsoft answering service (but I didn't have the money to pay for)I solved the problem. It turns out there was a problem in the configuration of the router, where it set my computer to have a static NAT thanks for the help anyway.

Why the maps app wants to connect wirelessly to the internet?
Time capsule 3 t is related to the retina MacBook pro with an ethernet cable, and I can't complain with the results I get.
Try to use app Apple card, he wants me to go wireless with a message stating that I need to enable the wifi.
Is this a bug in the application?
The ONLY way that your Mac can find its location is if the WiFi is enabled. That is how the software is written. You do not have to be connected to a wireless network, but WiFi must be on.

Can I use MSTSC to connect remotely on the internet?
Can I use MSTSC to connect remotely on the internet (local computer is Vista Ultimate SP2 to a distance Win 2003 Server)? I used MSTSC on my local network and it works well.
Hi Ibaltsae!
Thanks for posting. Yes, you can use MSTSC to connect remotely to a computer or server on the internet, the same as if you were using your local network. To connect to the remote computer, use the DNS or public IP that are associated with name.
I hope this helps! Shawn - Support Engineer - MCP, MCDST

I looked for answers and have updated all my drivers on windows suggested and still not connect wireless. My blackberry to connect to my router very well... Help, please!
Hello
Turn off the router and the Modem - wait 3 minutes and reverse. Restart the computer.
Some systems have a power switch on the front or side. If a laptp or a PC that uses embedded
WiFi check/configuration settings (BIOS/CMOS) as you start - often F2 then warning screen - select-
boar without wireless/WiFi. If the PC of a kitchen separated and system maps turned OFF and try to remove and
replacement of the card - in fact remove - do not just tight.A manual update or re - stall your drivers by using these methods, do not use only the driver update as
You must refresh the batteries of any driver.Actually try updating your driver and disabling the network logon. Use a wire or download drivers
on another computer and use removable media to transfer to your system.
Control Panel - network - write down of the brand and the model of the Wifi - double click top - tab of the driver - write
version - click the driver update (cannot do something that MS is far behind the pilots of certification). Then
Right click on the Wifi device and UNINSTALL - Reboot - it will refresh the driver stack.Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

You can download several at once however restart after the installation of each of them.
After watching the system manufacturer, you can check the manufacturer of the device an even newer version. (The
manufacturer of system become your backup policies).Repeat for network (NIC) card and is a good time to get the other updated drivers as Vista like
updated drivers.I would also turn off auto update for the drivers. If the updates Windows suggests a just HIDE as they
are almost always old, and you can search drivers manually as needed. How to disable automatic driver Installation in Windows Vista - drivers

Make sure you know the details of connection to your wireless router - SSID and password.
You lose connection when you do and have to redo your logon.
Control Panel - Network & Sharing Center - right, click Customize - page set of network locations.
lower left click on merge or delete network locations - REMOVE all instances of your network (and the
others you don't use anymore) - REBOOT. Start - Connect To log on to the network.-----------------------------------------------------
