HP 2335 fuzzy + ghosts, no option to display in native resolution.

I just bought a HP 2335 as an external monitor for my 13 "Unibody MacBook Pro. Its native resolution is 1920 x 1200, but as you can see from the image below, it will go up since 1920 x 1080, which is tense and ugly. In addition, you can see some pretty important current streaks and it is not very strong.

I connected via a Mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter.

A screenshot it displays perfectly so I had to take a picture.

Anyone has any ideas on what to do? It's really frustrating...

Thanks for your help! I ended up buying a DVI cable and exchanging the Mini Dipsplay Port to VGA to a Mini Dipsplay Port to DVI and everything works perfectly.

Still not really sure why it wouldn't work through the VGA, but don't complain do not now that it works.

  • Feature request: provide the option to display the names of the objects instead of MoRef in the generated code

Currently, the generated code contains the value MoRef.

We can't provide an option to display the name of the object?

    Hi LucD,

    Thanks for the suggestion!

Indeed, it will be very useful. However, its implementation is not trivial. Onyx is currently working as a passive proxy between the server and the client. And information on the names of the objects are not available in SOAP messages. This means that Onyx will generate calls to the server to retrieve the name for help be MoRef, i.e. Onyx will be not only proxy, but also a customer. Despite this us will search if there is a way to implement this or a similar feature.

I did your suggestion as a feature request in our database, and it will be considered for a future version.

  • Portege Z30 - A - 18 M - cannot set the native resolution on the external display

    Hello

I tried to connect two different displays full HD to my Portege Z30 - A - 18 M and I was unable to set the native resolution - maximum resolution I can put for those is 1680 x 1050... I was not so surprised by the first that I had a few problems with a native resolution when I connect to the laptop computer Satellite I had before. But then the same thing happened when I tried the other view.

I thought that this notebook can handle a higher resolution external... Is there a way to force the native resolution of the external display in Windows 7?
    Thank you!

Just a question: have you plugged your Portege with HDMI cable and use only the HDMI option?
With other words went from the desktop to the external display only computer?

I don't have this machine, but I think you should be able to see the desktop on an external device to the HD full 1920 x 1080 resolution.

  • Have W2071d monitor, display settings do not allow non-native resolution matrices

'' Recommended '' this monitor width setting is 1600 X 900, but when I go to the "Display" dialog box, the only options available to me are that were available using my old monitor.

The monitor "selected" for common use (under "Advanced"-> tab monitor in the "Display settings" dialog box) is dangerously just labeled "Default monitor", and while the system produces to the monitor, it only does these original native resolutions, so that, under factory settings, the image is stretched horizontally to a significant degree, and when I put it to adapt to the proportions rather He's a little blur hired on small fonts/texts during the largest possible display setting, almost as if I ask it to produce makes me superior to output 1-to-1 ratio of pixels and the entire surface of the monitor is not being used anyway.

In any case, the button/dialog box 'Properties' is not yet available on the tab 'monitor' breast, so I can't try to update the driver. I don't really know what to do at this point. In addition, the computer now tells me whenever I start that he detected new hardware connected, but it may not recognise, does not support installation at home, but whenever I try to point it to the drivers it tells me that the file contain no information about my hardware device.

VGASave is the 'default' for Windows XP driver if there is no other driver available for the system. It is possible that some sort of error, or maybe an automatically Windows Update installed, breaking your graphics card driver. I would certainly try reinstall the driver as a first step of troubleshooting.

Here is a link to the latest version of the driver for the Radeon XPress for Windows XP series:

  • New monitor will display not all resolutions

Recently bought a new HP monitor # 2210 m, and am running HP Media center m7334n Desktop, Windows XP sp3, ram 2 GB, 2.0 G cpu.

Problem: that's like half of the resolutions listed in the monitor sheet (there are 11 presets).
I want to put it in 1280 x 768, but it is not listed as a choice in the display properties.

I lost several hours with HP technical support (Overseas), and their final decision was that the computer is too old (5 years) to support the new monitor. After I hung up, I realized that the monitor has been able to run on its native resolution of 1920 X 1080. So, how is it not possible to run at a lower resolution?

Graphics are integrated on the motherboard, so I can't find care about resolution so that it doesn't matter where.
I've updated the graphics driver and the driver for the monitor.
I uninstalled the driver for the monitor, computer rebooted, everything is recognized, without yellow exclamation, but still no option for the setting of 1280 X 768.

How can I get the monitor to display the resolution that it is capable of?

    Thanks for your help

    o.k.

all tracks have been explored and exhausted.

the integrated graphics card & monitor drivers have been updated.

the desired resolution does not always appear in the display properties or the available ATI ads.

I go to the idea that this particular resolution (1280 x 720) only is simply not supported by the graphics card.

Thank you for your time & assistance

  • Fuzzy characters on Tecra 9100 with low screen resolution

When you use the standard Toshiba S3 for Windows XP video drivers I seem to be having problems with the display when the resolution is equal or less than 1024 x 768.

Any text on the screen is blurry / weird quality.
If I select a higher resolution, the screen is good with crisp text / sharp.

Anyone know how to fix this?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Simon

Don t panic! This isn't a failure or problem
The native resolution of your internal display had to be greater than 1024 x 768 that is why you have to leave the laptop running with the best possible resolution.

This issue has already been discussed in this forum. You should check this:

  • E6410 display - apparently bad native resolution

I have a Dell E6410 used mainly with Ubuntu 12.04, dual boot in Windows 7.

In the last days (and without changing anything knowingly) the screen of the computer ceased to display correctly.  The picture is always visible, but pale, with thin white horizontal lines and text is distorted as if he lacked the alternating lines of pixels.

Using F2 at startup displays the natural resolution as 1 440 x 900, like the Ubuntu nvidia-settings. However, I'm pretty sure that the display hardware is 1280 x 800 version.  The behavior is certainly compatible with forcing 1440 horizontal lines on a screen that has only 1280.

The appearance has the same problem when it is started in Windows.  An external monitor works perfectly.

Is it possible that the machine got confused about its own resolution?  If so, how can I fix it?  If not, are there other diagnoses that I should try?

Update: restarted Ubuntu and all resolutions are now visible.  So, I have a fully working!

Apologies to anyone following this thread in hopes of good diagnosis and cure - "buy a new machine" and "hit it with a hammer" are not really much use.

  • NB200 - option to display 4:3?

    I am a new user of a NB200 - 11L, running windows XP.

I have a (dated) piece of CAD software, which can not handle 16:9 / 16:10 aspect ratio of the screen of the NB200.

On my old laptop, I was able to adjust the display settings, in order to provide a 4:3 aspect ratio. On other laptops, it meant that I had wide black borders on the sides of the screen, but he was able to work in 4:3, when using my CAD software.

On the NB200, although there is an option of 800 x 600 pixels, these 800 x 600 then expanded through the full display, which does not have a 4:3 practice.

Is it possible to achieve a 4:3 on the NB200 screen?

    Hello

I m NB200 not owner, but I think that 4:3 screen ratio wouldn t possible on this laptop. I guess it will be stretched to the format full screen and so it s is not possible.

I think the only option is the use of an external monitor with this ratio. Maybe a second hand 15 external displays eBay. They are very cheap these days and don't need a lot of space on your desktop.

  • Firefox has an option to display compatibility as IE 8 and 9?

IE 8 and 9 beta have an option to force compatibility in the browser for web sites that use older technology. Firefox has the same option? If Yes, where is it?

Firefox doesn't have an equivalent option.

You can install an add-on that will pass to the rendering engine of IE for sites that do not display correctly in Firefox. He did this in IE open in a Firefox tab. There are a few versions of this module, IE Tab 2 and IE Tab Plus.

  • Qosmio F750: Ghosting can mean faulty display?

    Hello!

I have a quick question: I'm a little unsure if the effect of persistence I place on my F750 (model without glasses) can be the result of a defective screen. If I run the utility x-tune in the "professional" mode, I see a green clear picture by closing one eye and if I close the other eye, I indeed see a (supposed) red zone, but there are still some huge "greenish" visible areas. Almost the right quarter of the screen will flash green. If I set the effect such as told by the application, the effect won't get worse.

According to the follow-up face window, my eyes is detected correctly and I use also sufficient lightning and distance of visibility.

So, what is the experience of what other users get? Do you see areas clearly green and Red? How about ghosts in movies or games?

    Hello

I think that ghost effect is nothing unusual in the vast world of LCD Panel.
I have a 42 LCD TV and a slight ghosting effect is visible... more inside display area
I've been reading about such effect, and it's nothing unusual. Sometimes it s more visible on a black background.

Not sure about your problem maybe you should get in touch with a Toshiba ASP in your country to check

But the effects of ghosting are common for LCDs regardless of production or product...
