Is there a manual of Thunderbird? I'm trying to understand all the options to display/Threads.

I'm learning to Thunderbird, hoping to adopt as my e-mail client (cannot float Eudora more). The forums are not effective for learning. Right now I'm trying to understand all the options to display/Threads, but tomorrow it will be something else.

Hi Tom,

There are some resources that I found for you to learn Thunderbird as you go.

    Hi JDSoor,

Thanks for posting. Two or more instances of the service Msiexec.exe cannot be launched at the same time for two different products. An install or repair processes should finish before the other process can be launched. Go to processes in the Manager of tasks (so press CTRL ALT + DELETE) then press the processes tab and look for to MSiexec.exe and press "end process." You may need to do more than once.

I hope this helps. Let us know if this or do not resolve your problem.

    Thank you

The "General" cloud requirements are quite low... so you have to ask in the forums of specific program for a special features used by individual programs

    Hello mattyboy1212,

Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.

Try these steps and see if you can associate the default programs. If they are associated with Word, and then change them to the correct program.

    1. click Start and then click Control Panel.

    2. click on programs link.

Note: If you see small icons or large icons in the control panel display, you will not see this link. Click on the default programs icon, and then click the link associated with a file type or Protocol with a program . Go to step 4.

    3. click on the link to Open a file in a specific program type always under default programs .

    4. in the set Associations window, scroll down until you see the file extension that you want to change the default for program.

    5. click on the extension of the file to select it, once you have found what you are looking for.

    6. click the button of change... program above the scroll bar.

The Open with dialog box should appear.

    7. look into options for programs recommended and choose the application you want to open it with the file extension when you double-click on the particular type of the file on your computer.

Note: Chances are, requests described under the programs recommended will be contain more programs for this type of file, but don't forget to look at the applications under other programs. You may need to click the v to expand the list of these programs.

Note: Click Browse... to search, through your computer for any program not shown do not want to use.

    8. click OK in the Open with window. Windows 7 is going to update the list of file associations to display the new default program to open this type of file.

    9. click the button close the bottom together associations . You can also close the window of the Control Panel if it is still open.

    10. at this stage, when you double-click on any file with this particular file extension, the program you partner in step 7 will launch and load the particular file.

Important: Program used to automatically open when these types of files have been launched will again open these types of files. To use a different program, you just need to start the program manually and then browse your computer for the file in particular.

If please reply back and let us know if know if it helped to solve your problem or if you still need help.

    Sincerely,

    Marilyn

  • Is there a way to develop all the options in the menu accordion?

I wish I had all the tabs in the menu expanded accordion. Y at - it a setting or a button to have all extended options? Thank you.

Thanks for trying to help people if I can, if you put all the years in an accordion rather than a series of accordions, then you could open/close the entire batch at once, this subject comprising the years in three accordions, 1998-2003, 2004-2009 (2010-2015), so at least theres a good piece of information available / visible to the departure?

  • Is there a way to CS6 permanently register in CS5.5 all the time?

In my workplace, we are in the middle of the upgrade for the users using CS5.5 cannot use our CS6 files.

Will record every time slot on what we are working on Gets a bit tedious so I was wondering if there was a way to set a permanent Flash to save in CS5.5?

    See you soon

No not that I know, but having lived in the same conditions for about a year... you get used to it.  The good news is that you only need to save when you are finished.  You can save it as a file CS6 all the way to the end of your last backup of the period/days.

Not on the phone, there is no. You have to learn some self-control. Get a hobby, read a book, work in your yard, volunteer during a mission or soup, be a mentor. Just hung up DAMM and walk.

  • Is there a domain in Windows 7 where can I put all the windows to open maximized?

I was sure that this was true in Folder Options in Control Panel of control-leOutilsmenu.  However when I looked there was no.  Is it still an option in Windows and where can I find it?

I'm not a global setting, but one of these options will work.

Take the corners of the window and drag it to the format full screen. Do not use to expand. Close all other windows first via the taskbar and the latter. Windows will remember the size of the last closed window the next time that you open the program.

Or: any shortcut you use to launch the window, right-click, and select Properties. Under the 'Run' drop-down list, choose "expanded".

  • Is there a manual for windows 8?

OK, call me "Old School" but I really need a manual for windows 8, is that we can acquire?
I mean it's like back on an o car which has all the latest this and this. and say, "you'll have fun" How is the person to operate the car if he doesn't know what button to 'push' (some cars use pushbuttons to control the train there in) I feel the same way with windows.

I need a manual to properly opperate system.
Sometimes I can not always access the net.

It's my standard guide for those who are new to Windows 8 or 8.1.  Do with it what you want.

Try using Windows 8 as close as possible to Windows 7 using the Desktop application running as a desktop Windows 7 less the button and the Start Menu.  You can even get third-party programs that make it look like Windows 7, but I don't bother with, or recommend such programs.

The best thing to do is to place commonly used program shortcuts on the desktop via the creation of shortcuts to programs.

You can practice with the Apps later as you gain confidence.  Right-click on the tile of the application to see the different options available next to the running application.

I use my Windows 8 in the same way that I used Windows 7 and other earlier operating systems, the Apps are something that I play with when I'm bored.  I install all my own programs I want to run in Windows 8, things like office, Win Zip, games and other joint programmes etc. and launch of shortcuts on the desktop.

In the case of any application, the Windows key + i will give you all the options available in the application open.  Close any application by dragging them to the bottom of the screen (at the top of this one), or try Alt + F4.  Windows 8.1 has an X to cliick innovations.
