  The real concern was that the overall picture was not visible on the screen. It was bigger than the screen. I solved this problem by buying a HDMI to DVI and connect the HDMI cable via the adapter at the entrance to the DVI monitor. The image is now on the screen. The image is also much more clear and bright. The custom scale is always greyed out, but I'll call the problem solved. Thanks to lasvegasman for the idea of a cable problem. LBC

  Looking for two different applications for use on my iMac (OSX 10.11) and would appreciate suggestions reads as follows:

• Picture framing

• Framing a logo

• When I deleted a picture of my MacBook, why it also remove the external hard drive?

  So I tried to help my wife to free up space on his MacBook Pro by putting all of his photos on an external hard drive.   Your photo library is larger than the handset sizes original in your library pictures because pictures take the edited versions previews and thumbnails as well. There are also masks for brushed settings or thumbnails of scanned faces.

  To see if you got all the original ctrl - click on your photo library, use "Show Package Contents", look at the size of the folder "masters".  It is roughly the size of the folder with the exported originals?
