  I am trying to find a way in which I can view a list of people involved in a project.

  The problem is I want to be able to show only the names of the 3 (if the list is longer than 3 lines) and therefore display: «Show complete list»

  Display of the 'complete list see the institution' isn't a problem, it is the code saying that it ceases to display names more after 3 lines.

  Because all names are in a single database field separated by
  tags, you can convert the names into an array:

  $members = explode('
  ', $row['members']);
  $first_three = array_splice($members, 0, 3);
  

  $first_three contains the names of the first three. $members contains the remaining names.

• Windows 7 Search does not work - only index several elements then stops

  Hi, my first post here.

  I am running windows 7 64 bit on my new PC with all the latest updates installed. I have problems with the windows search tool. The tool detects files but not others and indexing is incomplete. I've been to the dialogue "indexing options" and have rebuilt the index several times and I even changed the location but it indexes only several hundred articles (normally 250-350) then stops and it is. I have thousands of photos and music files and the search tool is not find an any of them, but interesting, that it seems to not find what seems like all my program files and folders, what any of the other locations, even though I checked all the places I want to be pegged as photos, music, videos, etc in the "indexing options" dialog box.

  My computer is a Dell and I had a problem with it a copuple weeks back and the operating system must be reinstalled and I wonder if this could have something to do with it. Other than this problem, everything is fine and I am very happy. I have the latest version of McAfee antivurus and did a complete analysis of the system and have no problem there either...

  I really like to get the search engine works again, at this point when I do a ctrl + F for find, he can't find anything or even appear to be working away or by train. If anyone can help me it would be much appreciated.

  Please let me know if you have any ideas that I really want to get this function to work.

  I found the answer. It's a problem of incompatibility with McAfee Security Suite 2010, factory installed by Dell.

  I've tried EVERYTHING! Nothing has worked, search forums etc and after all that I uninstalled McAfee now indexing and seraching is fantastic work.

  I have the last iMac (Quad core i7) and 8 GB of Ram.  I installed the trial version of the first and when I play any video file it works only 1 second of it and then stop.  It isn't maxing out the CPU.  It has the codec for this file video (I can see it and hear it).  I even tried to put a title on the screen with nothing else and it plays for 1 sec.  I uninstalled and reinstalled.  What can I do else?  Why won't it play?

  Here is the solution.

  1. open Finder and navigate to/YOUR_HD/Library/Preferences

  2 rename or move the file to the Trash: com.apple.audio.AggregateDevices.plist

  3 restart the program

• HP 7310xi - Windows 7 - prints only first page top

  I have a 7310xi AIO Printer printer that works perfectly with my systems running Windows XP.  I installed the printer driver HP AIO 7300 on a new laptop under Windows 7 computer and had no problems with the installation. The pilot reported that the printer is connected and ready.

  Every time I try to print the printer stops and ejects the first page after the first 1-2 "text printed.  The spooler to print in Windows 7 displays "error - printing" message.  Then the spooler retries the operation of print with the same results as above.  The only way to stop him joining must cancel printing from the spooler.

  I have studied similar problems on this forum and have removed/reinstalled the HP AIO 7300, deleted and reinstalled the printer itself, print driver tried different drivers (for example DJ5500) to determine if there is no difference (it is zero, the same thing happens with a different print driver).

  My printer is connected to my network behind a network bridge.  I can connect to the management console HP7310 to the IP address of the printer very well.  All my other systems running Windows XP and have no problem.

  After not receiving any response on this forum, I managed to solve my problem with a print substitute on Windows 7 (64-bit) driver

  After removing the driver for the HP Officejet 7310xi, I have installed and configured the print driver for the HP Officejet Pro K8600 and I can now print very well in Windows 7 64 bit.  The duplex function works fine with this driver as well.

  This proves with certainty for me that there is a problem with the HP 7310xi driver for Windows 7 64 bit.  This forum seems to have paid attention on getting the scanning function works correctly on the 7310xi.  Intriguing in the fact that no one ran into a problem with the basic print functions.

  So in your ranks, choose the entity and add entity1 choose Department and add Dept1, choose account and add account1.

  Then click on add a line.

  This problem is now solved for me, my brother helped me find the cause, it turns out that when you use your firewall it seems to interrupt communication on wifi as it print fine with usb and wifi turned off. what you need to do is to find the ip address of the printer and add it to your chest/whtelist firewalls etc., it shouldn't be a problem

I just want to replace the tab with a paragraph return. He finds the number, but when I click on find next, he jumps to the top of the document and said that the search is over.   Really, almost a year spent with a company of Adobe design glitch and no one ever said there is an effort to fix the glitch.

  I am the only user of Adobe that uses Mac and HP? Should I switch off Adobe After using it for more than twelve years?

  I have a unique requirement, need to customize the existing cheque print report in the sense that if there are 20 associated check invoice lines, I should only print the first 10 lines in the output and in the 11 th line appears as remaining lines are not printed.and to other lines may not be printed.

  Thanks to their participation in Forums of HP! I see by your post that the complete documents are not printing from different applications. I will definitely do my best to help you.

  Try a self-test printing material in order to exclude a hardware problem: print a Network Configuration Page.

  If you haven't already done so, repair the permissions of the drive on the Mac:

  • Repair disk permissions:

    • Click on your desktop so that it is written next to the Apple Finder icon, and then click Go (you'll see it next to the Finder after file, edit and view).

    • In the context of Go, click Applications.

    • In Applications, select utilities.

    • In the Utilities folder, you will see the disk utility, double-click on this icon to open the disc utilities.

    • Click on your hard drive, and then click first aid. Click Run to allow it to run.

  Reset the printing system:

  Note: This will remove all printers in the print and Fax/Scan, any printer deleted can be re-added later by clicking the sign plus (+) symbol.

  Click on the Apple icon and then click on System Preferences.

  Click on Printers & Scanners.

  Make a right click (or Ctrl + click) in the left white side panel, and then click Reset printing system.

  Click OK to confirm the reset.

  Type the name and the correct password.

  Click OK to reset the printing system.

  Then click on the sign to add the driver, highlight the printer +. (you may need to click the drop down menu to select the name of the printer) Then click the Add button.

  Let me know how recorded the name of the printer in the Printers & Scanners window.
