  I right click the "Delete the print queue" option in "devices and printers". Who deleted the default printer and also removed the icon of the printer. The system then made the fax printer HP 4610 series the default printer. I re - install from the web HP printer drivers, but the HP 4615 icon does not appear with the other printing devices in "devices and printers". In each application, I need to select the HP4615 now that the printer before I can print. If I click on "Add a device" or "add a printer", the HP 4615 is not picked up.   I hope you're well and welcome to the community of HP

  I read on how you had removed the icon of the printer Deskjet Ink Advantage 4615 of devices and printers and since then have tried to reinstall the printer, which does not have the icon back to the printers and devices section, leaving you to not be able to select the 4615 as default printer.

  Here are my suggestions, starting with:

  1. run the print and scan the doctor. This diagnostic tool will check for all conflicts that may be causing the problem. The tool will show you a report at the end. If there is a problem that the tool could not fix, you will notice it in the results. Let me know what the results detected please. (Select difficulty printing when you run the PSDr)

  2. run the HP printer install Windows Wizard to find and install the driver "Full Feature" printers and software and go through the installation to see if there are errors or if the installation fails at any point.

  Check the devices and printers again to see if the printer icon appears. Also try to restart the PC to see if that helps.

  I put my new HP Dj 4615 to the home network, so I can print from different computers and laptops. Now I woud also like to print from my android too. On android, I installed app ePrint, but now I have a problem with my printer to find.

  As I google, I discovered that my printer is not a wireless printer, so I can't use ePrintCenter as simple as possible. I connected my hollow printer USB print server. I can print without any computer problem. But now when I want to connect it to my phone, I don't know how.

  Is there a software, I could avoid my problem not connect wireless and ePrintCenter?

  The HP Deskjet 4615 is a single USB model indeed, using a print server can you allow basic impression of computers, but not from mobile devices.

  I would like to remove the ink cartridges.

  Then another hard reset of preforms.

  When the printer asks the missing cartridges, reinstall them.

  I replaced the black cartridge about a week ago and it worked fine until today.  The printer indicates that the cartridge is full. Today used out in the middle of a print, and will not return. I tried all the procedures of cleaning recommended by HP without success. I also checked that the vent is not blocked.

  Operating system: Win 7, 32 bit

  Warranty expired dec 2013

  I suggest you read solution 3 downwards.  You have already entered through solutions 1 & 2.

  Thanks for the support. To see that 'Monitor alerts ink' was a job. Without success. It does not appear in the startup routine. The quickest way was to download free software called «For Windows startup Inspector» This program finds the hidden routine so that not even a PI he would get. It took less than a minute to clarify "ink monitor alerts" from the beginning. Play well!

  I see that you are looking in the options of scan wireless.  Your printer model with no wireless capability, we can assume that it is connected through the Windows printer sharing program.  Option to share the printer doesn't support scanning, so for the control of analytical skills, you need to connect the USB cable.

  Hello, I guess a lot of people are going to have a problem with this update!  I tried to find a way to update manually, but have developed zero.  I have windows vista SP2 and Office 2007 to Microsoft Office/Home/student.  Problem is with this update about the PowerPoint Viewer.   The update is probably a failure because it can't find its source files. Remove the Viewer to supply and install the last and then run WU again to see if there are updates for this (before you remove the files/media/installation of the sources).
