HP 6700 Premium: HP 6700 Cancel double print side

Our printer is automatically double siding each element that copy us. How can I change to print only on one side?

Hello

From the front panel of the printer, click on copy, then click on the settings button.

Set two-sides as 1-Sided Original: a copy front and press OK.

Then, press Set as new default at the bottom of this menu to save the settings to migrate as a default for all following copies.

Kind regards

  • HP Deskjet printer 6700: Duplex is enabled but I can't always double print side

Hi - I have been using the printer HP 6700 on a PC for the last year, printing options have always been very simple to follow, with menu drop-down offering different options such as printing side single, double side, short/long term etc. of boxes. I recently bought a Mac, and as a new user I must say that I find it extremely frustrating to do the simplest tasks on it.

My problem right now is that I see no option to select double side printing when I want to print a document.  I have installed and uninstalled several times, tried all the things suggested in various forums online, including do not select the print option to fire air upward, and even though I selected the option copy double-sided on the setting of the page (which was not available when I installed with air printing option), my documents are still printing single-sided and no option is provided at any time during the process of print selection.

Please help it's driving me crazy, I spent 2 days reading various things to try, and nothing works - I'm regretting buying a Mac, they seem so much more complicated than anything do on a standard PC.

Hello Drakster - coincidentally I think that I managed to untangle why I couldn't see the box "Show details" which allows the possibility of two-face.

Today I had to download a document in PDF format on the internet for printing, when I click on the PDF file, it gave me the option view details that I used to double side of the document, it also gave me black and white, project and printing color option.

I have while I would try to print a Word document by clicking on the? Box in PDF format in the left corner of the box of the impression, when I went back to file and chosen the option to print again while in PDF mode, I got the box show details appears.

Here is the process I have applied, I tried only in Word it is the program that I need for most next double printing of: (PS. "I never got the chance to figure out how to turn the capture into a JPEG of the screen but will continue to try, as a newbie to Mac, I spend a lot of time to learn to do what seemed like simple functions using my old HP PC).

' Print double side and/or bl/wh -click on file, then print then the left button down PDF, select 'opens in PDF mode', then click new file and print should be displayed at the bottom on the list option, click on this and you will have then retrieves the options on the right of the double screen side nex to the option Copies (check the box) and click Presets to choose bl/wh or color printing options.»

Thanks for your help and your patience

  • HP 8600 glued more double print side

I have a HP 8600 Plus, CM750A, with the firmware

CLP1CN1232AR.  I use this on OSX 10.8.2.   I use the driver from the HP Officejet-Pro website - 8600_v12.23.0.dmg.

No matter what I try, it still prints double-sided, even using some of the default settings that are defined single-sided.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    Joe

    Hey Joe,

Please follow the steps below and check to see if that can help you:

On the file menu, select print. The print window is displayed.
NOTE: The print window might be minimized. Click Show details to see all the available parameters.

In the print window expanded you will find next to Copies the checkbox for duplex. Uncheck the box.
NOTE: If the check box does not appear in the specific application print dialog box, skip this step.

Click on the area of selection below, listed as the name of the program (e.g. TextEdit)
Will appear as Copies & Pages within Microsoft Office applications.

    Select layout from the drop-down.

Set the duplex option as Off

Click on the drop down next to Presets and then select Save current settings as preset. By default, a used preset will remain until another preset will be used.

If it does help as well, go to System Preferences > print & scanning.

Click on the sign more and select the pritner.

In the drop-down next to use, select the pritner instead of AirPrint model and try following the steps above with the queue newly created.

    Kind regards

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

Are able to copy in color using the Officejet 6700? If you are able to copy in color the problem may be on the side of the computer.

You could try printing HP and Dr. Scan, it will look at the software and drivers installed for the printer.

  • OfficeJet 6700 does not print Adobe pdf

I have a brand new 6700 OfficeJet fine print Word documents. It will not print a pdf from Adobe. The printer begins to cross the motion, but stops and comes out blank. I converted the same file to the word and it printed like that. All other functions work well. All solutions?

    Hello

Do not click on properties, you should see an Advanced button at the bottom of this screen, click on it.

Check the print as Image option in this dialog box, and then click OK, to check if that helps.

If you use another software that Adobe Reader and that you don't see these options, make sure claridy what application used to view the PDF file.

  • PSC 2510 double prints the left margin - transport stops

Hi, my 2510 double print the left margin so as to look as if the letters are ghosts, now it started to leave a wide width of letters about an inch from the left margin. At the same time, he will start a print job only to have the transport stop about 1/4 of the way, I have manually position the carriage to the position of Park - the menu says so is printing - it is not. I unplug the AC for 10 seconds and when I reconnect the printer resets and continues its merry way, until at the latest.  Thank you Kent

You probably have a buildup of ink on the MICR band used by the printer to tell where is the transport.  Gently clean the Strip as shown here.  Don't forget to respect the warnings, if you do not you may damage the delicate MICR band.

    Hello

From the desktop, hold down the Windows key and press R.  In the run window, type services.msc and press to enter.

Scroll down to the print spooler service, right click and select Properties, then click the Stop button.

Now search for C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS, then delete the work inside this folder - you may need to click a command prompt to get the authority to open the PRINTERS folder.

  • Canceling a print job

Any time I need to cancel/delete a print job, I'm sitting in limbo! I cancel properly and he claims that 'delete'... but it takes FOREVER!   Why? Help!

You cancel from your operating system or from the button cancel on the printer?  If the latter, the computer will continue to send the job to the printer, but it is ignored.  A faster method would be to cancel the print job from the printer, then cancel the job from the computer.
