  The two tablets are not completely identical, but the Bluetooth is Bluetooth!

  Any keyboard that claims compatibility with an Android device should work.  I use an old Palm Inc. Bluetooth keyboard with all my devices Android - 7 slate, slate 10 HD and even my phone Samsung Galaxy SIII.

• Strange sound problem 1800-314

  A strange sort of wheezing sound is coming from the fan area, I suspect it's something to do with the processor.
  I recently set up a new fan (from the model 1800-914) which improved playback of DVD (no longer ignore), but the overall performance of the laptop are slow at times, especially when its been over 2 hours.
  What, if any, upgrades processor/replacements are available to me?
  How would I ask a new processor?

  Hello

  It may be that your old Fan has been damaged, but one simple change of another does not solve the problem.
  As far as I know Toshiba a different thermal glue do for different models and processors!

  So, it may be that false thermal scope glue causes failure even because the heat from the processor cannot be moved and the fan runs all the time!
  Also your processor can be damaged in the future!
  Normally only the same processor will work without problem in your 1800-314. Other processors can operate, but need it know for your own!

• NAT overlapping by IPSec VPN

  and have been able to establish the VPN and through each host ping. I have problems with some of the packets getting dropped. I use low-cost hardware (routers 1812 and 1841) and I wonder if this is the reason why he lost half of my packages. Or is there another reason this is happening. I would like to know if I can impliment QOS on this traffic that must pass from one site to the other. Since 50% of packet losses are unacceptable.

  Depending on the amount of traffic you send through the tunnel, the 1800 series router may or may not be allowed. But, we need to know if the packets are getting lost oversubscription of the link or because the processing power of the router is maxed out.

  Here's the datasheet model 1800 router fixed and the number of performances of IPSEC is 40 Mbps 3DES @ 1400-byte packets.

  BTW, you could use QOS to prioritize, shape, font, etc. packages but if another network device is down packages, then it won't make a difference and you will always have ignored packets.

  You will find different tips for Satellite 1800. It is not a Satellite 1800 412, but I think it should also work.
  But the best way is to contact the Toshiba authorized service partner in your country. You can order the compatible card of these guys here, and you can be sure it's a good advice.

  There should be a sticker on the bottom of your laptop that will give you an exact model number, you can then search on the Toshiba site.

  (Detailed name and serial number)
  Where did you come from? Have you bought the laptop in US or Australian?

• 7 1800 HP - forgotten lock model

  I bought a HP 7 1800 in early December for my daughters birthday. She put in a schema lock to keep its brothers and sisters in his Tablet. She says she knows the model, but she never made (children, smh, she said, and it did in a 2 or a reverse S he had 9 points). Anyway, she told me that the schema lock came like 5 times, but after he returned to him saying to use his google account to sign in. That no longer works. When she tries to register for the google account sign-in and click on (submit), it is up to him saying to put in his email and password again, again and again, etc., as it is wrong or not working do not. I tried it myself and even went to his google account using the same info, and I'm in to their google account, but not its tablet. His google account said that "HP 7 grants access to applications on this Android device".
  
  What can I do now to get access to its Tablet?
  
  So my only option is to do a factory reset, how would I go on the record of its paid apps? In their google account, he has a "My apps" section that shows the apps, she put on her device (also some that she put on her Ipod). In his emails however, she has only receipts of 3 of the 6 applications that she bought for its tablet in her e-mail messages.
  
  I'm a n00b total when it comes to all these stuff app, any information on helping him recover his Tablet and apps would be very appreciated.

  It looks like you'll have to do a factory reset, but don't worry the apps.  The game store has recorded with paid apps, and they will be available as a free download again when she connects in the device.

  I did reset and bought new Android devices, and all my paid-for apps reappeared!   :-)    You will not need revenue.

  I think that you have answered the question yourself: you have a Toshiba Satellite 1830 and ps183a-2q54pp seems to be the model number. :)

I tried this on the Australian site and the file, the file that I downloaded does not work with my laptop, on the back of it says 1800 unit system, but does not specify an exact model.   I put t know where you bought your laptop, but if you see the Toshiba Australia download page you will find just an entry for Satellite 1800 and BIOS update version 2.20.

  Jasmine is right. You can order the Toshiba Recovery CD form all the ASP in your country.
  The other possibility is to install from the original CD of Microsoft Windows, and then install the drivers of Toshiba you can find and download the Toshiba site.

  New keyboard use Google and search terms Satellite 1800 keyboard. You will find many online shops where you can order the new keyboard.

  Good way to find material for the old models of laptops is eBay. Check it out!

• Satellite 1800 Windows XP - can't get Ethernet/LAN to work

  Hey everybody,

  I am struggling with this for hours...
  I installed windows xp on this old laptop, Satellite 1800 PS181C, and I can't get the drivers to work for ethernet can work

  It worked fine when I had windows 2000 on it, but as the OS crashes constantly, so I opted for XP instead.

  In Device Manager, it lists the network adapter under 'hidden features' for a reason, it is called "Intel 8255 x-based Fast Ethernet.
  It is said there is a driver installed for it, but when I try to create a new internet connection, it tells me that no adapters are installed!

  I tried the site LAN driver, the last that appears is for windows 2000, I tried anyway according to the installation instructions, didn't work at all

  I watched the driver on the Intel Web site, she me tied to a PROWin32.exe file, I tried to install, it says I have no card compatible?

  This leads me into the wall. There must be a way to make this work.

  Can you please send the exact model laptop (1800-xxx) name?
  What WXP version do you have installed (service pack)?
  Have you consulted the Toshiba download page? This model is supported for Windows XP Home edition?
