HP a6330f PC

I replaced the HD and the powerbox, installed Win 8, crashed today drivers (audio, mouse, keyboard, etc.) do not work. Where can I get the current drivers and how to install? OR do I just order recovery disks and start all the way?

{personal info removed from the title}

Vidya,

Thank you for your response. I had to get a wireless mouse, and then the keyboard driver is out. I can sometimes finagel back by booting from the disc (64) win 8. At the time I learned where the box run is on Win 8 I had lost the keyboard again. The audio chain is HDAUDIO\FUNC_01 & VEN_10EC & DEV_0888 & SUBSYS_103C2A58 & RE

Keyboard or mouse ACPI\VEN_PNP & DEV_0303

If I end up having to use the wireless mouse, keyboard, audio, remove present drivers?

    Hello

It is always interesting to see if you can still order a set of replacement of the HP recovery discs - see link below.

    Order HP recovery disks.

If they are not available at HP, they can also be ordered from reliable third-party reseller on the following link.

  • Pavilion a6330f: upgrades for Pavilion a6330f

I am brand new to the site and just want to say thank you in advance. I joined this site because I saw how effectively and intelligently others questions have been answered. I have a HP, so I thought I'd come for professionals.

My Pavilion is trying to become a horse to work full time, so the reliability is an obvious necessity. I'm looking to upgrade the RAM, processor, POWER supply and install a new real graphics card. I'll start by saying that I am really a rookie at all this stuff, but I know how to use wikis. So if you tell me something that you feel needs a little more explanation and it doesn't bother me type, I'd love to read, but I agree with having to do a little research on my end. If there is something that I absolutely do not understand, I will trouble someone for an answer.

Just to be clear, I'm not someone who thinks that it is as easy as soldering the things that I bought on Amazon. I do not have to install it myself. I already have a local line guy who built and repair of PCs and laptops for a living. It is a professional installation, I don't want to appear with the bad stuff and he said that they do not work together. That's why I'm here.

I am a 3D artist and a budding game developer. I'm strictly working on short films of animation right now while I teach myself coding. With the set-up (stock) current, it'll take me about 30 + hours to render a minute of animation of poor quality, and it's in a scene of very low poly count. I can't work when it is rendered, in the oven, or whatever it is that is demanding of the CPU. I use the mixer, and it built in feature that taps into your GPU, significantly improved travel times. Thus, the hunt begins.

I don't know you guys can look upwards faster card I need to type, I don't know what need the list anyway. I'm typing this from my laptop so I won't have to start from now the office. Yes, for now I

    3 GB of RAM,

    Processor 2.8 GHz Dual-core Anthon AMD 64 X 2 5600 +.

    power supply 300W

and the Nvidia GeForce 6150 SE

I think that it is an integrated graphics card and Blender does not recognize as a separate GPU it can tap into. This PC specs say DDR2 everwhere, so I guess that if a DDR3 graphics card upgrade, I have update the motherboard too. I would like to know if what I just said was stupid, because I felt silly to say that it. I also see things like types of socket AM3 and fm2, so I don't want to get incompatible parts in this regard. The flag says there's an AM2, so I guess I get a processor with this type of socket if I'll stick with the card mother stock.

I would like to know what parts of the construction can be done first, if it is possible to 'level up' over time. Or if I should go all in at the same time.  It's the difference between having to ask my brother to borrow money. What I would like:

Processor AMD FX-6300 6-Core Black Edition

    MSI ATX DDR3 2133 970 GAMES motherboard

power supply 400W (let me know if it's enough)

EVGA GeForce GT 740 (1st choice), the Inno3D GeForce GT 730 or similar card. HDMI (a must)

All necessary cooling or other upgrades to ensure reliability.

As I said, I am a rookie with this stuff. If anyone knows of better build for less, or if I don't have a motherboard upgrade, let me know. With this MSI motherboad I can improve ram over time, but with the above material and the addition of a 4 GB stick, I'm looking at roughly $400 for parts. The operating system is promoted to the 8.1 Windows if this is going to be a problem, let me know. Thanks again in advance.

The following assessment of your existing computer to a6330f:

    (1) Vista OS should stop Microsogt support end April 2017

    (2) Vista 32 bit OS. Card mother Max RAm is 4 sticks of 1 GB each.  Your have installed 3. Adding another won't altogether give you 3.5 GB. (Artitecture problem).   Not any major help.

    (3) adding an EVGA GTX550ti or GTX660 graphics card would be very useful.  You can google them.

    (4) the graphics card needs a new power supply.  You will need a quality 500W PSU. (Corsair).

  • HP Pavilion a6330f desktop PC: is it possible to update my Network Interface Card?

Is it possible to replace and modernize the Network Interface Card that I have (10/100 Base-T Network Interface)?  If Yes, do you have a recommendation indicating what replacement card should I buy?  The network interface that I have now I cannot take advantage of very high speed that my internet provider (150mmps).  Thanks for your help with this... Mike

You are welcome.  Thank you for the additional information.

Here is a card that should work for you:

    http://www.Amazon.com/TP-link-TG-3468-1000Mbps-Gigabit-express/DP/B003CFATNI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8 & qid = 1420761130 & SR = 8-1 & Keywords = PCIe-x 1 + Network + Card

Read the reviews to see what users say about it.  You should disable the network adapter before you install it.  There is a PCI slot and the PCI Express x 1 slot is faster.

  • Help with my video card installation

For about 5 months, my uncle crashed his computer desktop HP Pavilion a6330f, pre-installed with Windows Vista, then he gave it to me, and I formatted the HARD drive and Windows XP Professional SP3 is installed. I installed all the drivers needed to access the Internet and then I carried others away. Here is the problem.

OK, so I got a new HD of VisionTek Radeon 3650 OC edition 1 GB GDDR2 video card. I went to VisionTek.com and got the same driver I needed, installed and restarted my computer, then I go into my BIOS and put my graphics card to PCI x 16, which is what the map is well connected and must also. Can I connect my monitor to the video card (Acer P206HL) and nothing comes, kaput. So I plug it into the built-in slot. I check my system info, it says that I always use the integrated card GeForce. But I don't see anything not connected it. Someone help please, I want to use my video card, because it's the only thing that keeps me playing Skyrim.

    > I went to VisionTek.com and got the driver very

If you got XP drivers on this site while there could be no incompatibility

    Any pci slot works?
    (Ok - fans are running...)
Or see if bus pci/pci-bridge Device Manager works (under devices sytem).

Hmm, looks like pci is the cause of the accident of your uncle had.

What happened with that your uncle?
