"HP adapter" smart message on laptop G60-535DX. How to stop without having to buy a new adapter?

Hello

Our G60-535DX laptop recently started a message appear in the notification area of all the few seconds of reading ' for maximum performance, connect an AC adapter smart capacity higher.» For more information click here. »

My wife uses this machine for word-processing and simple web browsing almost exclusively, so power consumption is not a problem for us, it could be for online players, etc. The card we have is map of OEM supplied with the machine, so we are unhappy with the idea that we might have to buy a new adapter, useless just to remove this ad. If there is no other way to solve it, we ask that you provide the new adapter free of charge, since, in this case, you have apparently sold us the adapter incorrectly when we bought this product.

Thank you very much for your help.

NO OPTIMAL SOLUTION I discovered that if you simply remove the battery while using the computer in AC mode. messages to stop. Apparently, they appear when the computer switches between AC power and battery. It works so, vice versa when running on battery power only.

Alternative WORKAROUND that I was going through all this, I discovered that changing the configuration of the power of "Energy saving" to "HP recommended (Recommended)" messages has stopped. I did however while the battery has been removed, and it is possible that the battery should be outside when you do this.

In ADDITION, our OEM adapter incidentally is 65 watts - people on other forums suggests that anything below 60 watts to be replaced no matter what.  We had connected him to a surge protector very old, which in theory could have been stealing power. We have therefore it directly into the wall. (Do this after that stop messages with different power configuration, so I don't know if this would have worked - but try anyway).
