  I'd appreciate advice and instructions on how to return/repair my printer no longer print.

  According to the other thread that I have commented on the user managed to solve the problem of roll back firmware version 20160331 to 20150716 .  Unfortunetly the user did not comment if the old version of firmware is out so that we can share a simlilar solution.  It may be that this person had a copy archived in offline mode or found another source outside the HP support Web site.

  At least you can get an older version of firmware all the steps that we share for the firmware downgrade won't do you no good.  I'd be careful to search a German site for firmware updates.  HP has put regional locks in place according to international contracts, that they do to market their products in a given region.  Using a German firmware on a printer WE made may have strange side effects on what types of cartridges are allowed.

  What is perhaps a better use of your time would be to contact your 3rd party cartridge company and see if they can send you a cartridge that is compatible with the new firmware.  Chances are that they have seen the same problem with other users and already have a chipset to work around the problem.  In this way, you can stay on the newest firmware and continue to use your favorite too cartridges.

  I see that you wonder if you need to replace the color cartridge when it is low. This printer is a printer AIO, therefore, you need to replace the ink cartridge when it becomes too weak to be able to resume printing. However, if you print mostly in black, you can configure a preset black only to print in black and white. This would help reduce the use of the color cartridges.

  NOTE: Composite black - for black and white images and photos, a mix of colors called 'composite black' can be used to achieve the quality significantly improved picture and soft gray tones that can be achieved with only black toner. For users who want to print images using just black toner, many HP printers color customer offer configurable options allowing the client to print using only black toner. For example, by selecting "print in grayscale" in the printer driver Specifies print using black ink only. If the question scratched image produced through both the dish and the ADF on your computer, then your printer is probably affected by a power or programming problem. If the striped image problem occurs through the dish or the ADF, but not both, then there is likely debris sweep across which is at the origin of the defect. Can I please you follow the steps below to resolve this issue.

  • Problem 1: Striped Image occurs in the dumpster and automatic document feeder:

  Step 1: Check of power:

  Please ensure your printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet for power. Power strips and surge protectors can cause HP printers lack power and will not work properly. Once your printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, please run a test copy to see if the problem is resolved. If the problem persists, proceed to the next step.

  Step 2: update Firmware:

  There may be one occurring problem of programming of the internal Firmware in your printer. The Firmware is the internal "brain" of your printer.   You do not use the correct directions.  You must load the printer as local tcp/ip printer.  Use the printer to add, then choose local printer, and then click Next.  In the next screen, click on the port to create, and in the drop down choose standard tcp/ip, and then click Next.  Follow the instructions in before the ip address and then next and the printer must be found and you will be directed to the page of decision-makers.  Choose left hp and see if color laserjet 3700 is listed and if not click the windows update button for the list.  Good luck.

  Hello 4646tm, I understand your frustration. Here's how to remove a plugin:
  Click the menu and then click on Add ons, which looks like a piece of a puzzle.

      Type about:plugins into the Location bar and press Enter to display the About Plugins page.
     Each entry in the About Plugins page will have "File:" and "Path:", showing the name and location of the plugin file. Use Windows Explorer to navigate to the folder shown for the plugin you want to remove.
     Rename the file to add an X in front of the filename (for instance, npswf32 becomes Xnpswf32).
  

  You said that you do not want links, but I'll give you a couple just in case you do not want to uninstall the plugins manually. These links are to pages that tell you how to run the uninstall it please do not hesitate to tell me if you think that they are not useful.

  I made a mistake in my program and I wrote too much data event and alarm at the Citadel. Database *.mdf/*.ldf files are quite large > 1 G. Normally, I connect only two alarms per day. I want to delete all events alarm + data before a certain time of stamps for example. 1.1.2011. How can I do? I tried to use MAX and perform the operation so I wrote small program which reach the data from temporary database and then remove it. Yet I can find old events and alarms... I am able to remove the traces of old but not the events/alarms. How do I remove the alarms and events?
