HP Color Lazer Jet CP1215: I would like to write to HP about a pilot

I use Photoshop CS6.   There is no driver for my printer with Windows 10, so I'm not able to organise things for my printer take his instructions to print from Photoshop.   Accordingly, the impressions it produces vary considerably from the images I make in Photoshop, and the quality is very bad.

I would like to write or seat of HP, to see if they will produce a driver for my printer, but can find no contact email address.

Help would be very appreciated.

    For about a week, I have the following problem with my HP Color Laser Jet CP1215: after 2-3 pages of printing, the device stops abruptly in the middle of a job and the light number 5 (paper) continues at the flashing light.

    However, the bin is full with paper.

    Ignitions and extinctions help only for another 2-3 pages, then printing will stop again as described above.

    Is there maybe a photoelectric cell that needs to be cleaned or a mechanical part that gives the status of bad paper from the paper tray to the printer?

    I can see how frustrating it would be. To determine the cause, we need to use more than one document. Redundant that some steps may seem, I would execute all.

    Please, try the steps in this these guides:

    If the problem persists, try a hard reset:

    • Let the printer and disconnect the printer cable and the wall socket for 60 seconds.
    • Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector. This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.
    • Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (do not use a hub or a surge protector) This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

    I have a HP Color Laser Jet CP1215 connected to a Windows7 64 bit operating system. The printer prints the shadows cast on the left and right of the paper edges, but also the light shadows in the printing.  I saw the HP Toolbox for my printer and tried to print a cleaning page.  All I get is a text box indicating that the printer could not be accessed, even if it will calibrate and print a test page. I need different drivers or is there another solution?

    I understand that you found shadows on the page when printing.

    I'll be happy to help you.

    The driver may be corrupted not allowing all the features work.

    There could be a problem with the toner or the fuser unit causing this problem.

    Make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet and the USB cable is connected directly to the computer. Try running Cleanup again.

    Here is a document to solve problems of quality Print. Follow the steps to see if that will help solve the problem.

    If you still have problems you can uninstall and reinstall the latest version of the software.

    HP Color LaserJet CP1215 Printer Drivers. Select the operating system, and then click Next.
    Click on driver - product Installation software and download the drivers.

    Then try to re-run the cleanup page.

    This happens with all applications?

    What kind of paper do you use?

    You use genuine HP toner?

  • HP Color Laser Jet MFP M177fw Pro - Scanner Error 22

    I get the same Scanner Error 22 on the Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M177fw like many others have posted.  Tried uninstalling\reinstalling the software and tried the most common loading drivers but Scanner error prevented this piece of finish.  Support and I was told we would have to pay $49.95 for them to help us solve the problem.  We just bought this printer 5 weeks ago.  Is this all we can try?

    Thank you for your response. This solution does not solve my problem. HP customer service had travelled me several tests (took about 20-25 minutes total) but ended up sending me a replacement printer. It arrived within two days and so far, the replacement works great. HP has also paid to have the original shipped in return. The process was fairly hassle.

    Please, do a right-click on any empty space on your desktop and choose personalize. In the new window in the background, click the blue window, click the blue advanced appearance settings.

    The blue background is the field pointing out you have the option to turn off. If you don't see the purple bar on top with the toggle button to highlight the fields, it should display by clicking on the icon above (purplish) in the left navigation pane

  • HP Color Laser Jet 4600: Can I change my HP 4600 to print wireless?

    I have an old HP Color Jet 4600 Laser printer - it prints only with the old parallel, no usb connector.

    I have 2 laptops at home, both computers running Windows 10 (64-bit) and an iMac with Yosemite.

    I know that I can buy a USB cable to parallel, but is there a product I can buy to put my printer in a wireless? I would like the opportunity to have all 3 computers can print to it.

    I'm thinking there must be some cards that I can install for this...

    Get the 620n, they should be pretty cheap on ebay. I understand Minnesota computers sells also reasonable.

    Never use the 615n, they were famous, but not for the right reasons. I've replaced dozens of this model.

    A 610n is acceptable, but they were not as reliable as the 620n.

  • Color Laser Jet MFP M277dw Pro: frequently updated software

    I am the owner of a color Laser Jet MFP M277dw Pro. I get updates almost every week, and the software update is very strange. I'm clicking on the update system, it takes a lot of time to meet up with the text saying I'll remove the actual update or add another device. When I say no, thanks, I'll get a message saying that my update was successful (but only if I have to cancel this message). I don't understand why I have to go through this illogical question. Also, I don't understand why it is not necessary to update very frequently, especially when there is no explanation of the reason why.

    The two just exclamation points annoy me because I think that there must be a problem with the software, even if the printer works well.

    Given that the printer works, I would say to hide updates.

    A poster tried to show or hide updates and it solved their problem.

    You can also give your feedback to Microsoft, and if all goes well, they will release an update to correct the function of the operating system. You can learn how here; Updates and feedback.

  • Color Laser JEt MFP M477fd Pro: automatic update of ruined printers print

    My new laser Jet worked very well until I followed the instructions on the printer for an automatic update. Now print is ruined. Page layout is described in gray, and look bad color photos. This happened DIRECTLY after that I said yes to the screen to update printer on the printer itself. I did not change my Mac.

    I tried closing printer, computer shutdown, and then restart the printer, then restart the computer.

    The Configuration report (can barely read.) Firmware Datacode says: 20160331, which is apparently the most recent printing for my model software.

    I'm on a Mac 10.10

    Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M477fdw, bought end of 2015.

    The printer was so easy to set up and worked wonders for 200 pages that I sent to him so far, until I said yes to an update. Wish really to say yes to that, but I just assumed it would work as well as everything else.

    Thank you for your help to solve this.

    After trying countless things, including uninstalling and reinstalling the printer and download the latest driver, I called Technical Support. The number is on the internet, not on HP. 800-334-5144 where you need it. They continue to try to trick you online, but eventually, you get to someone who can help.

    When I described the print results, I was getting, she had me do the cleaning Page, 3 x and 3 x color calibration, which corrects the problem.

    The problem of updating firmware with the trainer, is what I * think * she said.

    If your printer works fine... DON'T let NOT download an update.

    It has been long since I've owned a laser printer. Lesson learned. Thank you, Natasha.

    The copy of my Laser printer feature is misaligned, i.e. when I placed a page on flat glass, the copy, he sends cut off the top of my copy. It seems to me cuts on top of everything that is being analyzed. Somehow the flat glass surface got out of alignment with the copy inside decision-making mechanism.

    Can someone tell me how to solve this problem? I searched and searched the Web of HPs site and doing a Google search.

    Welcome to the HP Support forum.

    I understand that a HP Color LaserJet Pro M177fw MFP which is cutting off the top of copies and scans. I would like to help with that.

    It is possible that the scanner does not calibrate properly on startup. To calibrate the printer copier/scanner:

    1 remove all items from the scanner glass.

    2. close the scanner cover and doors.

    3. press the power button / to activate the product.

    4. with the product under voltage, unplug the power cord from the back of the product.

    5. unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

    6. wait at least 30 seconds.

    7. plug the power cord into the wall outlet.

    8. reconnect the power cord to the back of the product.

    9. If the product does not light by itself, press the power button / to turn it on.

    There is no way to actually align the copier/scanner.

    The CP1215 can be reset as described in the paper here.  The Laserjet III has no memory, which would keep the work print or any other private beyond information to remove the power.
