  It seems that the computer does not recognize the print driver.

  Hey Tazdog. You use AirPrint for printing from or the app Home & Biz from HP? Make sure that Bluetooth is turned off on your devices. This can interfere with AirPrint. Also, what type of router are you using? Your router must support AirPrint Hello and multicast must be activated.   The app is built into the OS, you cannot change the security permissions. The options are: don't use the app or return to 10.2.1.xxxx

  This is perfectly normal, and you can fix it easily also.

  Go into the BIOS and in the sub-menu of device configuration, modify the LAN/WLAN, set active to disabled.

  Save the setting it by hitting the F10 key and again when you go out (save the settings and exit).

  Now the wireless stays on when you connect by using a LAN cable.

I have change the permissions of the folder by clicking on the name of folder-properties-security-advance-permission & audit-user. But the other user cannot open the files but I can't. So their whole desire to restore full computer by default to any user permission can use it without any harassment.

  We have IPM application running on Weblogic 11 g. It has a java process (Oracle InputAgent calls) which creates files on the Linux server.

  We find that this agent is to create these folders with unique permissions (owner rwe group - r).

  It dose not the group to write or execute permissions.

  Even if the parent folder has read writing performance group, the weblogic process creates with only read access to the group.

  Also, if you create a folder under the same parent using Linux command he created with read, write, execute access to the group.

  We want to know if it is controlled by weblogic config? And is there a way that we can change this default permissions?

  Also, we noticed that - Djava.io.tmpdir location records has also created with the same permissions. So believe this is controlled by the setup of weblogic.

  There two things that affect it:

  1 umask - this is defined in the script of startWebLogic.sh and if you change it, the files created by weblogic will use the specific permissions in the mask except when sometimes case 2

  2. the java process when you create files or folders specifies the authorization. In this case, there is nothing you can do unless you have the source code to change.

The preferences file gives me an error saying "the operation cannot be performed because you don't have the necessary authorization." I don't have the "Adobe" folder in this route Caches

  Try this:

  the Macintosh HD > users > [your user folder... click on 'Go' on the options bar at the top on the desktop (Menu bar) > then click on the 'option' key > mouse down to the selection of 'Library' that should appear > click on it to open the folder /Users/ [your user name] /Library/ ' "]

  You should now find the appropriate folders to change permissions. Just give your user name of the read/write permissions. I don't think you want to give everyone the read/write permission as some authors have claimed.

  I'm pulling my hair out trying to restore access to my library of Photos...

  My photo library is located on a Synology NAS. After update macOS Sierra, I would lose permanently the connection to my NAS. Someone on another thread said to use SMB instead of the AFP for file transfer services. I did, and the connection has remained stable; However, since any attempt to open the pictures gives me an error message "repair permissions Library" and wrote "this library is locked or you don't have permissions to make changes. Photos can try to repair the permissions'.» I try to repair the library, and after about 20 minutes, I get "error repair permissions.

  Finally, I opened the console to see what was going on, and that's what I saw when the error occurred:

  Library Permission repair failed: error Domain = RKRepairLibraryPermissions Code = UserInfo '(null)' 3 = {NSUnderlyingError = 0x61800025ecf0 {error Code Domain = com.apple.library - repair.error = 4 "(null)"}}

  If anyone can decode this to give me a clue as to what is happening and how to fix it? Or is there any other suggestions?

  My photo library is located on a Synology NAS

  Photos is not compatible with the NAS volumes.  Photos libraries need to be located on an OS X Extended (journaled) formatted volume.

  So, copy the library on a volume formatted correctly and open it with Photos.  You may need to repair the library by launching it with the command and Option keys.
