HP dc7600 Restore Factory best recommendations
Hi all
I am a COMPUTER technician for a medium-sized company, and I received a HP dc7600 CMT. The customer has no need, so I want to blow out and put it on the shelf for future use.
I do not have the restore for her disc, so I used the winnt32.exe in the i836 folder. It seemed to work at first, but it seems that even though he kept some of the users data... is - this normal during the restoration of this section?
Also, once I clean it, I would like to make a record of restoration for him (I already have the OS disk needed)
What is the best recommendation for this?
What I need to download an ISO Extractor, or would it be easier to do a recovery on the HARD drive partition?
Or both? This is news to me, any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Hello
For the backup time, using the recovery partion is the way to go, the next option is to use all of the recovery. You are both happy.
I hope this helps.

Toshiba A30 restore factory settings
pretty stupid question, but I need to restore factory settings, does anyone know how to do?
Ive tried the system restore forest and it goes back only to a certain point
I don't know what else to do?Hi Carolina,.
When you say 'Restore factory settings', do you mean that you want to restore your A30 to its original condition, with original OEM software installation etc. That you could do it using the recovery CD, but this will remove one of your own data and software as well as raw product updates that you can download.
Is it just that you have a problem with your system that may be corrected, rather than do a full restore?

My daughter has loaded all kinds of software on his laptop, now that I've done the esc & F8 on reboot and may go as far as to restore factory settings, but cannot go further. Someone got no clue on my next step?
I can't help you much without a bit more info about your laptop and what the problem is here, but if you want to use F8 I assume you want to install OS using the procedure of recovery of HARD drive so here's the guideline how do

Satellite L350 - restore factory settings
Hello
I have a L350 and have had problems with my keyboard, my laptop keep thinking that the control key is stuck. I found that when this happens my keyboard stops working properly, but if go into control panel--> change keyboard and just click on all (not to change anything just open & then close) it seems ok again for a while. I want to restore factory settings, but when I shut down or restart my keyboard no longer works, so I can't press the keys or value to boot from the disc. I tried to plug in a USB keyboard, but it's the same leading me to believe it's a software problem not hardware.
Back, someone knows what can do to solve this problem?
Thank you

I want to restore my laptop to original settings. My laptop does not start the operating system. It restarts only to the point where I see the 'Vaio' logo
I can press F10 to use Recovery Wizard. But I don't have the recovery CD.
I wanted to know, can I still use F10 to restore my laptop to factory without these CD manufacturing settings. I really don't care about data on my laptop, if it erases everything that I want to just restore factory settings
Hello
Thank you for your message. VAIO computers come with recovery software, present in a hidden partition and you can perform system recovery using the 'F10' key
Restart the computer, keep tapping F10 key, press button to start editing option, Recovery Wizard select start and click on ignore VAIO Care rescue (if you do not want to back up data) to start the system recovery process.

Use 'restore factory of Rescue and Recovery' to upgrade 32-bit to 64-bit windows 7
I have 6 GB of ram on my Lenovo SL410. It runs win 7 32-bit.
Windows shows that it is capable of 64-bit.
Can I use "restore factory Rescue and Recovery" to perform the installation of win 7 64 bit?Thank you
Your recovery DVDs are listed here:
I guess if your recovery partition factory is win 7, 32 bit, it will restore win 7, 32 bit.
You can order the win7 64 bit DVD for about $50 US recovery.

Restore factory opens not in Windows 8
I have an Aspire V3 which has become very infirm. As the laptop was not in my care before now, I had tried to use the option restore factory settings in the management of the recovery tool, but when I click on the button restore, nothing happens.
I tried running windows 8 in safe mode, but also pressing alt + f10 at startup upward. Nothing seems to work. Is there a way I can reset this short using a pre-made recovery disk?
It came with Win 8 and you upgraded to Win 8.1? This upgrade seems to mess with recoveries.
Have you tried that?
1. press on the windows (Image: icon_Windows8_key.png) + C or by scanning from the right edge of the screen to open your charms.
2. click search, and then type Recover.
3. click on Acer Recovery Management.
4. select restore factory settings.
5. click on next.
6. Select clean disk entirely.
7. click on reset.
Your computer will restart and launch the restore process. Once completed, it will restart and begin the initial installation of Windows to address process. -
My computer is very slow. A friend said that I can speed up restore factory settings. How can I do this?
5 ways to speed up your computer
http://www.Microsoft.com/atwork/maintenance/speed.aspxThis article explains how to use the tools available in Windows 7, Vista and XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) to more effectively maintain your computer and protect your privacy when you're online.
Unexplained computer behavior may be caused by a third-party software
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/827315How to restore your computer settings certainly depend on what brand of computer you use. You must contact the manufacturer or your computer's manual should give you guidance on how to use your disks restore provided with your computer or the hidden partition.
Please note that means restoring the computer to the factory settings, restore the computer to the State that you have first obtained it in. You would lose your programs that you have installed, your data, etc etc. It would be like a new installation.
Consider other options first.

Will not respond XPS 15 F8 key to restore factory image
Have a XPS L501X 15 I'm cleaning up to part with. Have all my personal data offshore and uninstalled all the software, which I have added. Went to my Dell online manual for restoring factory image whose starting point was to press the F8 key when the Dell logo appears, to access the advanced boot options. Have done so several times during the past 20 years with my Dell computers, usually F2 for access settings. This computer works well when I hit F2 for Setup and F12 for boot options. But he will not answer the F8 key to bring up the options of early start had to do the original image. Have tried 30 times or almost and it just keeps loading windows. y at - it another way to access this screen, or something else I can try. I have had no other problems with the computer. Ran the Dell hardware diagnostics and everything this past... Loooked in the D partition and it appears the Dell image restore files are all there, I just can't get the F8 to get to them. I made no changes or done anything with the D partition, and the hard drive is the original.
You must press F8 several times similar to what I've done here:
cs_setInnerHtml ('video_8544c9f3-e75a-431-aa6f-0e0f31bbddac', ");

tried to restore factory settings and hit the F8 key after close to a dozen times. I never see the advanced options to choose the factory restore. HELP please... I'm following indications out of Dell's web site as well. UGH
If you have problems with the process of recovery of Dell, contact Dell at the link above.
It's Dell recovery, not Microsoft software/process of.

Best/Recommended way to record information in the Release version
Hello
I've searched around, but don't see any results on the issue yet. Then I would ask what is the best/recommended way to record Release version information?
I use Momentics IDE 10.2. When I choose run or Debug, qDebug() & qWarning display information very well in the console of the IDE, but with "run" they don't show anything in the console. Tested on both Q10 & Simulator.
Thank you
Install your own messages QDebug Manager, do write to a file, for example newspapers newspaper. Then open a terminal on the device, navigate to the file and the type of your application:
# tail -f logs/log
to view the log file.
Change your main.cpp along these lines:
#include
static FILE * logFile; void logger(QtMsgType type, const char * msg) { Q_UNUSED(type); std::fprintf(logFile, "%s\n", msg); std::fflush(logFile); } Q_DECL_EXPORT int main(int argc, char **argv) { logFile = fopen("logs/log", "a"); qInstallMsgHandler(logger); Application app(argc, argv); // Create the Application UI object, this is where the main.qml file // is loaded and the application scene is set. new ApplicationUI(&app); // Enter the application main event loop. return Application::exec(); } Note: the file will be closed by the operating system, more messages are seen if you don't shut it down at the bottom of the hand. Why? because c is destorying local variables (app) at the end of the main, and who calls the string whole qt of parent-child destructor for your class of application as well.

I have a desktop Dell Inspiron 580 with Windows 7 Home Premium. I did a full system recovery using the recovery partition on the hard drive first where it erases all data and gives back to the factory condition. After the restoration, when Windows starts for the first time, he returned to the normal login screen requiring a user ID and password. Why is this? I can't continue because there is no user ID and password when you wait for all the data to be wiped and starting a restore factory complete.
I realized a second time with the same results.
I realized a third time using the Dell recovery disk set, done using the Dell program on the computer before the restore operation. I watched the program perform a partition formatting, so all data should be erased. I got the same results by asking an existing user ID and password.
Now, I did complete factory restore a fourth time by using the recovery discs. I always get the same results.
When Windows 7 starts for the first time, every time, I expect windows to ask me to create a new user and password. Instead, Windows starts to askling normal login for an existing user ID and password screen. What is the cause of this problem? I see many people with this problem in the forums. I have not found a real solution.
Thanks for any help. :-)
Perform a clean installation of Windows 7 in the Windows reinstallation Guide:

Do not use the media created with the Dell DataSafe software. Use rather a Dell reinstallation DVD. Use the form below to request a DVD of resettlement.

HP G61 LAPTOP - how to restore factory settings?
I put my HP G61 to my daughter and I would not restore factory plug removes all files. How can I go about it?
Hello
If the Partition Recovery on the laptop is Ok, try the following. Close Notepad, and then further press f11 as soon as you press the power button to see if it will start the Recovery Manager - if so, you can use this to put the laptop 'factory State '.
Another option, if you have created your set of recovery discs, is to insert the first disc and then restart the computer to boot from the disk and start the process of recovery in this way.
If none of the application above, you can order a set of replacement recovery disks using the link below.
http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/bph07143
If you have a problem with this link, order them directly from HP.
If you live in the United States, contact HP here.
If you are in another part of the world, begin here.
Kind regards

No restore factory after a clean install of Windows 7
Factory support key F11 RnR restores after a clean install of win7?
I did a new install of win7 and installed a RnR last on my T410. When I tried F11 RnR, there is no option to restore with. My SYSTEM_DRV and Lenovo recovery xxxx exist and are suitable for all the files in them.
I have recovery disks, but I just what to see if restore factory F11 works on this path.
Fix. I had already understood what you were doing.
I'll say it simple as I can:
(1) installed at the factory
The secret is windows 7 added windows re (recovery of win7 to the mix environment). Lenovo plant reorganizing this to factory support. This has created a hidden from the factory restore boot entry.
(2) your installation "sideways", IE, cram lecteurC.
This wax installation tips from lenovo. That is to say, no factory entry to move to the RNR standalone.
(3) any property. do not delete anything. (such as SYSTEM_DRV).
==
You have a dead now at the new disk space. This works. Large.
Use RNR and backup every week in a place (external). I know that it was not fun, but has been a learning experience.
==
To clarify: (confusion)
RNR is the main big daddy. This is the main task is to rescue by using a backup RNR. Recovery (factory) is a subset, not exactly. This just transfers control to another entry for starting a recovery plant stuff. Thus, Rescue and Recovery. I answer all the time about it. Yes, they look different, they are.
