HP deskjet f4480 printer range: cover open Message, hp deskjet f4480 printer

Hello

I accidentally broke the door sensor for my printer.

The solution says: "Open" and it will not be printed.

I tried to install the broken sensor myself, that says 'C 15' on it.

but I have no idea where it is supposed to go.

Thank you.

Hello @Jen91,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand that you have a sensor of door broken on all-in-one printer, HP Deskjet F4480. Unfortunately, the door sensor is not replaceable part in your HP Deskjet printer. Therefore, to correct the error message 'Door open' on your printer a whole unit replacement would be necessary.

I recommend at this point, contacting the Technical Support queue by phone to explore hardware options.

HP Technical Support can be reached at the: 800-474-6836.

  • Suddenly today I can't open message in a new window, tabs ONLY

I open normally send in a window with double-click. Today, it is not open. Menu popup 'open in a new window Message' also does nothing. Only way I can get an open message is menu item context "Message open in a new tab". 24.6.0 Windows 7 (64-bit) version.

In the menu... Click on Tools / Options... then the "Advanced" icon, then the tab 'read & Display '. Under the section that says "open your messages to:" select "A new message window". I had this same problem and found that mine has been set at "a new tab". Now, I tried several times under different email accouts and it works fine. CTRL-W will do the same if you selected message, but I prefer my to open in a new window on double click. I use the preview to review pane, but if I intend to do something with the message, I prefer it in a new window. I hope this helps.

My HP all-in-One printer 7510 displays a message 'Door open' However the door is closed. I can print a direct copy of the printer, but not from computer to the printer. All suggestions are welcome and appreciated!

There is a little further on the printer, but in general a way to message 'open-door 'access door' is not closed properly (or the sensor/switch is always triggered). The access door is the entire scanner, you lift to access the print cartridges. Try to open it upwards and close.

  • Door/front cover open a warning on 6980 unable to print

My printer does not print.  In the printer utility HP it is said in the Statute: "the door or lid is open" and it will not be printed.

Nothing is open and I can even find Ant tabs or sensors to check malfunction.

I have the printer powercycled, reinstalled the drivers and power rolled my two computers on the network.

Help, please.  I need to print my RESUME.

    Thank you

So I pulled all the pieces and found that out broken which was covered by the cover on the right side was not moving into the slot of the optical sensor on the circuit located in the rear of the unit.

With the solvent of the side cover, I can the remaining part of the abandonment of band upwards, so he moved to the other end in the sensor and it works fine.

I need to just replace the cover side so I can release the band so I can fool the printer by lowering the Panel in front of the ink cartirdges.

    Thanks again

    Eric

  • On a MX922 with the cover open, there is a small opening in the top right corner, called T1.

Under flip cover on the upper right corner of the printer MX922 there is a labeled T1 opening with a piece of orange plastic. What is this for?

Got response by telephone. The party in question had to take the carridge stable during transport. Thank you.

  • Thermal solution compromised - reboot and replace the cover. -Message

Hi I get this message when I turn on my computer. It is right after the bios screen.

"Thermal solution compromised. Replace the cover and reboot.

How can I solve this problem. The fan eventually go very fast and very strong if I continue to use the computer, after I get this message.

It has done this 2 weeks ago and I've changed the "case untrusion" setting in the bios to "off" and it seemed that he solved the problem, but now it started again. I have not opened the case in a long time and have not added new hardware in a good 6 months.

Should I try unpluging the switch of the motherboard or is it a bad idea?

I use the Dell Precision T5400. BIOS Version A05

    The things I checked are:

    -The cover is on.

-My tempature CPU 32 to 34 ° C is only normal (I have two processors, but did not hit their all a good year or two)

-There's only one fan in this unit and it seems to run properly.

    Thank you

    Hi yes I have repaired!

I bought a new switch chassis and have not had the problem since. You will not find a new one, but renovated should be there.

I tried to get it by Dell but it kept out of stock for weeks which was inconvenient so I ended up getting through someone else.

I remember most when I bought it since? I think I just googled my switch model and chassis DEll and it came somewhere.

    Good luck!

  • IPhone does not open messages, phone or contacts

Press and hold home/sleep set button until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the boot device upward.

  • Receive messages, but only shows the header, not opening messages

Yesterday, all of a sudden, download my emails, but only the header appears. No message. I have the two incoming POP and IMAP, both do the same thing. If I double-click on a message, a new window opens - no message - just the header. If I go on more, then Classic view - then I can see my message. But NOT if I put the classic view for all of the programming. That freeze the program.

I can click on whatever I want on different messages, but nothing happens to change the header since the first message I tried to display. I can delete messages, but not to open them.

She also took forever to download an email attachment in IMAP, but not messages from POP.

Using Windows 7, this happened to the previous version and just upgraded to 38.0.01 to try to fix it. No luck.

Is it possible to go back to an older version of Thunderbird and have this job?

right click on the folder, select Properties, and then on the button repair.

  • Open message window is too big

When I double-click on a message, it opens in a new window, which is what I want. The problem is too big for one of my two monitors. I can manually move the window with a tedious combination of keystrokes on the keyboard / mouse clicks, which would almost be OK. The real problem is that TB remembers the settings in this window, and every time I open a message in a new window, I have the same problem. I tried these for one for this issue, without success. I use a new computer with new software: 8.1 win and a fresh install of TB.

    Help, please!

    Thank you, Mark.

This is to document what has been discussed by e-mail.

    1. When a message window is opened, view-> Zoom-> Reset (or Ctrl-0 is a zero)
    2. Try to view-> discussion-> ignore Threads.
    3. You have everything running antivirus software?
    4. In Control Panel-> ease of access, have you changed the display settings?
    5. Try to run without Add - ons. Help-> restart with disabled modules.
  • How can I get quickly back to the Inbox from an open message

When I open Mozilla if there's a message opened, showing that I can not understand how to return to the Inbox without having to scroll along the bar at the top before all other messages in the box. It makes me mad and is probably very simple, but I would really appreciate the help.

The best way is to close the messages after they are read and not open as many tabs as you press the main tab off the screen.
To close multiple tabs at once right click a tab and choose close other tabs. Then use the x to close the last tab.
