  • HP brand new 4620 Officejet black ink cartridge and it won't print black at all the

Hello, my printer has failed recently more ink. So I bought a set of cartridges to Staples. I installed them and ran the print head cleaning function. I now have the great color and BLACK NO. I ran to repeatedly print head cleaning function. Its so frustrating to monitor printers the past 2 decades range from reliable gains to unreliable everything in the financial goal. I've had printers since the 1980s, I used printers when they came with the ribbons, who hardly could, although they can indeed dry. At least when they dry out, you would be able to put a new one in and continue. Now that they have designed replaceable print heads (because they were made knowing that they will fail), ink cartridges that are not interchangeable (knowing that once you got with the printer model, you can most likely switch to another brand or model) that uses a DIFFERENT model ink cartridge. All for finacial gain. Between my office and home, I lived 4 printers in the past 2 years. I've been a loyal fan of Lexmark, until my old died and I bought a new, the first thing I noticed was the variable print head and I thought, uh oh, that is going to fail and so said, so done, within 3 months of using the printer, Lexmark sent me 2 print heads and 2 series of inks of replacement free of charge. I still have a set of ink and print head because the LCD screen turned white, lol. Had to throw it away. Eventually move to HP that I believe is made in the same factory as Lexmarks after comparison of many models. Now I have the newest HP to my office and its been so far great and SUPERB ink usage, PREVIOUSLY. I'm almost afraid to know what my future has in store. I know that I fell in a field off-topic, BUT HP, YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF yourself. I have now lost $60 on a new series of cartridges and will most likely need a new printer since my warranty has expired. SMH. Bad business!

A representative has in fact contact me to rectify the situation, even if my unit is out of warranty period. I really appreciate the effort. Kudos to HP.

  • Printer is disabled when he thinks that an ink cartridge is empty.

Appartently in one of the software updates HP thought it was a good idea to your printer stops working when he was thinking about an ink cartridge is empty.  In reality, there are always the ink left in the cartridge when the printer thinks it is empty and it is easy to see when an ink cartridge runs out.  I was in the position of having to print and important black single document, but which the printer turned off because he thought that the color cartridge is empty.

does anyone know of a way to work around this problem really stupid?

  • Report of HP7520 new XL low on ink cartridges

    Hello

I just installed new HP XL cyan and magenta cartridges in my printer HP 7520. When I go to check the levels of the State, they both show a lot of ink.

When I go to print a document, I get a warning of low ink for each of them.

Can someone help me clear this up?

    Hey @jasdelta,

I would like to help you to solve the "low ink" message that you get on your computer after the installation of new HP XL Cyan and Magenta XL HP cartridges today. First of all, I need you to make sure that the printer detects full cartridges out of the façade. To do this:

From the home screen, tap the icon of ink levels . The estimated ink levels are displayed.

The Cyan and Magenta appear full or almost full?

Do you have any ink that seems low or empty?

If you still get the "Low Ink" for Cyan and Magenta message when you print from the computer, but everything looks good on the front panel of the printer it seems you maybe a problem of two-way communication. The computer is not "pick up" on update ink information correctly.

If this is the case, I would need to know which operating system you use on the computer in order to provide you with specific steps to fix this problem.

    What is my OS?

Please let me know what you find on the front panel of the printer. Good luck!

  • error message that the ink cartridges are not compatible

I recently bought a HP Deskjet 1000 and installed and the cartridges that came with the printer do not work. It keeps giving me the error that they are not compatible with the way in which the printer is installed.  I followed all the instructions and everything reset and still say the same error.  I am using windows 7 64 bit

Fix! The printer will not work without INSTALLING cartridges. All cartridges installation, do not wrote on the side, but those that come with the printer do most of the time.

What happened after a few steps, after re - clean cartridges and unplugged the power? Same result?

  • HP Deskjet 3000: I can't get my Deckjet 3000 to work with my new 61XL ink cartridge

I always bought HP 61 ink cartridges for my printer HP deskjet 3000 and have never had a problem, I recently bought the XL 61 because cartridge that I was printing a lot of things, but every time I put the new cartridge in I get an error message and I don't understand why.

    Hi @Hpierce,

XL cartridges are certainly more profitable and should work. I understand that you see an error message when you try to use the 61XL, I can help you.

It seems to me that the issue could be just this cartridge. Please use the following to fix the problem and let me know the result of your efforts: HP Deskjet 1000 (J110) and the 3000 series printers (J310) - a "ink cartridge problem,'"Incompatible print cartridge", or"Ink cartridge failed"Message appears on the computer."

Please do not forget to keep me abreast of the results, so that I can follow up with you. Thanks, I look forward to hear from you.

  • New printers, cartridges different 'type' - it's for the best?

I always loged HP printers and more loved when I worked at BestBuy and met with the representative of HP fairly often about the quality of your printers and ink. A thing I liked is that when I bought a new HP ink cartridge it came with the new 'nozzles' or 'printer heads' can't remember exactly... as far as I know now who is on my current printer (C4440, he has been a beast but must be replaced soon) has, it seems, to be in the picture below. The advantage of my memory, was that, given that the user has bought a new cartridge print quality would last any age the printer, because the 'nozzle' (or another) has been incorporated into the cartridge, not the printer.

I started looking at the new printers and noticed, with a slight disappointment that the HP ink cartridges are more like Canon, Epson and Lexmark... get you just a new "cartridge" nothing else. That kind of fact wonder: what is so fantastic HP now? Essentially, each printer can print on quality during the first 6 months - 1 year. With HP, however, I was previouslly assued that quality would last much longer and that I should not expect that there will be several issues related to cartridge. Here is a picture of the new cartridge:

-What is the difference? Why the change? What does this change for me, the customer?

Thank you very much for your time and energy,

    Andrew Tatum

HP has several inkjet technologies currently available.  The use of the lower end are most often integrated print head (IPH) printers.  Individual ink cartridges (IIC) have separate ink supplies, one for each color and fixed or replaceable print heads separately the printheads.

IIC systems are usually more expensive and intended for a more important use systems.  The ink tanks are generally larger and cost per page may be less.  IIC systems are in part a response to requests from competitors that it is cheaper to replace a single color as needed rather than replace a tricolor cartridge when a color is low.

  • Not full of brand new ink cartridge

Who I'm complaining when just yesterday, I bought the new black and color ink cartridges Traoré were meant to be good for 166 pages and color failed after only six pages of print.  Only two pages were usable.  I thought that the printer does not, but I tested it with a new cartridge and it works beautifully.

The ink is doggone simply too expensive to not get a replacement or something like.  I tried the phone number, but apparently there is no "beings humans", able to use phones or the company will not hire any and prefers just to steal and cheat customers by selling short filled cartridges!

What printer model? What cartrdige?  The spectacle of cartrdige vacuum or it just seems as if it were empty?

For some like the 564 cartrdiges there are a bunch of vents which must be removed, make sure that the ventilation is clear if you type cartridge.

The cartrdige warranty information is available here, most cartridges have a warranty of two years from the date of manufacture.

  • Printer does not print in color after installing new ink cartridge

I have a HP Photosmart C7280 all-in-one printer.   Windows 7 is my OS.  I have made no other changes to my computer before this problem.

    My problem:

I installed a genuine HP brand new yellow ink cartridge in my computer because my other cartridge was empty.  After that I installed a new cartridge, my printer normally goes through an initialization process.  This time he did that.  Now when I try to print anything in color, I get a window that says "ink empty Casrtridges.   To print in color, install the following cartridges: yellow "then turns and she says in that it can only print in black."

I did a Test print.  I ran "clean cartridges".  I did a 'print align.   All these prints in color, including the yellow.  I also did a color copy and printed the color yellow.   Ink level shows the yellow as a FULL cartridge.

I have tried with 3 new genuine HP yellow ink cartridges and it still doesn't let me do a color print.  I have rebooted my system, unplugged the printer several times and it still will not print color.

What else could be my problem?  What else can I try?

Thanks for any help anyone can give me.

    Carol

It seems that the error got stuck in the printer driver. Try to uninstall and reinstall the printer software. That should clear up the problem. I'll link the latest software and drivers below. Let me know what happens.

    Uninstalling the printer software

Installation of the software of the printer in Windows 7 for a USB cable connection

Installation of the software of the printer on a wireless network or network (Ethernet) cable

HP Photosmart full feature software and drivers

  • Incompatible ink cartridge

I have a HP photosmart all-in-one printer that takes hp364 ink cartridges.  I bought cartridges setup hp364 from ebay and just installed their and I get an incompatible cartridge message.  I checked online and found that they are the same as standard ink cartridges only they are not sold separately, but come with the printer.

Can someone help me please? Thank you

No, the configuration cartridges are only for the initial Setup.  "Installing CONFIGURATION cartridges after the initialization of the product causes an error."

Cartrdiges Setup are not available through normal retail channels since they are supplied with printers.  I don't know the history of the pieces you bought on ebay, but unfortunately they are not suitable for your printer.

  • Correct ink cartridge HP Officejet Pro L7555 - was 88XL; can I use 940XL?

The HP Officejet Pro 7500 series seems to require the HP 88XL ink cartridges, but these are not well highlighted these days.  The 840XL works in the 8000 series and these machines seem almost identical to the 7555 I.  The 840XL works instead of the HP 88XL?  What is the difference between these anyway?

Thanks for any light you can throw on this issue.

HP Officejet Pro L7555 requires ink HP 88 is correct. These are not well highlighted these days; is not true. You can always shop online at http://shopping2.hp.com/en_US/home-office/-/search-SimpleOfferSearch?PageSize=15&search=&SearchTerm=HP+88 for the HP 88 ink.

It's the HP 940 ink that works in HP Officejet Pro 8000/8500 series printers.

The HP L7555 and Pro 8000 may seem identical in some aspects, but not all because many features are added in the new printers. Even ink the printer technology is updated.

The two sweepers in discussion mechanism different ink and so HP 940 work nto on both.

  • HP 564: Black ink cartridge

So I just bought all new cartridges yesterday and when I installed my printer showed that the ink cartridges levels where not full. They were all at different levels, 50% and below! I called four different people at HP and gives me the race around. They said that they will replace a! I can't go back to the store because I've already placed in my printer. Who can help me with this problem?

This can be a problem, you can solve with your printer. What model is your printer? I can send on some troubleshooting steps.

  • Photosmart plus 209: problem with compatible ink cartridge after moving to France UNITED Arab Emirates

I have a Photosmart B209 more and you just moved from the Arab Emirates UNITED to the France. In the style of France the 178 HP, designed for that printer ink cartridge is not available, and it seems that the cartridge HP 364 in France is the same size and adapts to the machine but wil lnot work. I get a message on the printer saying incompatible cartridge. I saw a post about this problem with instructions to contact HP and get a kind of rearmament of the country. I wasn't able to do that. Can someone help with this problem?

You will need to Contact HP to ask a "regionalization Reset." Do not charge for this, it is covered under the warranty of the cartridge. You will need to have access to your computer and printer then on line with HP. You will also need to have a set of cartridges for the new region, once completed reset cartridges of region of origin no longer works.  Webpage of HP on the subject is here.

  • OfficeJet 4635 cancel the firmware update because my ink cartridges are for older versions of the product

I was happy with my officejet 4635 until I clicked on ok to apply for the HP firmware update. He said that it would improve my printer. However, demand has not said that my ink cartridges may not work if I installed the update. I clicked on ok and the update has been successfully installed. Now I can't print anything because I get an error message saying the I have ink cartridges are designed for older versions of the product. I do not use the new HP cartridges because they cost too much. I used cartridges refilled abacus in Az. Phhoenix which worked fine up until I did the update of the firmware of HP. I need to go back to the old system, so I can print again. I am connected to a desktop computer HP envy running windows 8.1. I'm furious HP to try and force you to buy their new cartridges with an update of something. I think that whoever came up with this update should be fired. Any help with a solution would be appreciated.

I was told that there is no way to undo the update of the firmware. HP did send me a few ink cartridges so I could print again, but I am still ticked about the way this has been ensured by HP. They have not told me that my old version cartridges would not more work after updating firmware. I think that it is simply dishonest on part of HP and I am sure that other customers have been captured by this update of the firmware. I am sure it was a HP effort going to force you to use their new cartridges. I'll be very careful on the acceptance of the updates from HP in the future.
