  You can manually update the BIOS for your laptop by downloading from the link below:

  The current version available is F.23

  Once the download is complete, double-click the downloaded file and follow the instructions on the screen.

  You will notice may-continuous display blank for a few seconds, which is quite normal. Once the update is actually the device automatically restarts.

  Note to back up your data before performing the update. Also have your adapter connected to the laptop.

  Software and driver downloads of claims that appropriate for my HP G60-445DX BIOS is Version F.54 has dated 2009-08-27.  Msinfo32 claims that my machine is Version F.54, 18/08/2009.

  Well, after nearly two years, no response from someone else, I'll answer my own question:

  HP labeling this BIOS is totally fallacious.  THE TWO VERSIONS ARE IDENTICAL.

  When you download and start to install the 'F.54 A dated 2009-08-27', it BECOMES dated 18/08/2009 F.54!

  Why HP labeling could not match is beyond calculation.

  bookmarks does not. the only thing it will do is add them, impossible to delete or do something else with them. "display the Bookmarks tab all comes in white and nothing else works on this subject." not given the choice of what folder to put bookmarks in when I use "bookmark this page".

  One possible cause is a problem with the places.sqlite file that stores the bookmarks and history.
