  This laptop was having overheating problems when I got it. I have attached a platform of double USB fan led to her and which has helped considerably.   I thought it's maybe some kind of problem with the ATI CCC, so I tried to uninstall it but then ran into all sorts of errors - he refused to be removed from my system.  I had to manually get it (edit, painfully long registry).  In any case, the driver earlier that I could come back was the "current" available on HP... and installation that it resulted in the same matter; This display driver problem when the laptop runs cool.

  I've also run a full CHKDSK and a Piriform Defraggler disk check and it extracted a - OK... even though the hard drive suffered some sectors failed previously that were much more early on avoided with a complete reformat.

  QUESTIONS RELATING TO THE:

  * If it is a software problem, what are the recommendations?

  * If it is a possible hardware problem, is it possible to prevent the problem or am that I confronted to a replacement of the motherboard or just wait that the laptop "heated" enough before using it?

  Well... I thought that the laptop was fine when it is hot, but this display driver doesn't answer more question arises again while I was typing this message (Mobile CPU at 66).  But it happens now, after running for about 30 minutes of hot.  Then... material can get which is flaky?   It's certainly plausible. I have not heard of questions with a mosfet specifically, but this issue certainly seems to be motherboard related. There are "companies" out there that repair card mother offer, but it may be more cost-effective to buy a new motherboard.

  You can also try to use a Map of Test Post if you have one or can borrow one. I don't like to think about buying something, unless I know it will solve the problem, but if the computers are a hobby for you, Test Post cards are a very handy to have around. If you decide to get one, look at the comments and make sure that he has the right connections to be used with your computer.

  Hi, I noticed today that the Device Manager indicates a different CPU than my laptop in the section "system devices".

  My laptop is a HP DV7-6052ea with I7-2630QM (Socket 988 b)

  Manager device displays the correct details under "Processor", announces the I7-2630QM (8 times).

  Under "System devices", it has this line:

  Xeon E3-1200/2nd generation Intel Core Processor Family PCI Express Root Port - 0101

  I can't see all the details for the 2630QM under "system devices".

  Device Manager indicates that all drivers are up to date;

  I7-2630QM - 6.1.7600.16385 21/06/2006

  Xeon E3-1200 - 9.2.0.1026 10/03/2011

  CPU - Z shows correctly 2630QM I-7 and I have not noticed problems with my system (apart from a few songs to jump a bit) so it's something that is likely to cause problems or OK?

  Device Manager showing 8 instances of the process indicates that the system recognizes the 8 cores of CPU and all work correctly.

  System devices is a generic article of all the components of the motherboard and shows high level last name only. It creates no problems.

• Pavilion dv7-3165dx display does not

  I have a Pavilion dv7-3165dx and the video has stopped working.  The system starts fine and seems to work normally except no video output is available (backlight doesn't work, just no display).  Leading to this there was quite severe artifacts on the screen before he died (black screen, no output).  I tried to plug in an external monitor and no signal is him either.  When I plug the external monitor backlight is turned off then back on as it normally would when you attach an external monitor, but I get no output on a device (laptop LCD or an external monitor).  I was just wondering if missed me something obvious, but it seems to me that the video card has gone wrong.  I suppose that if it was the LCD or the video cable I'd still get out on the external monitor.  I didn't replace the MB until I didn't know he is there lot of thing.  Thank you.

  If you could see output on an external device it would mean than the laptop video solution (chip, processor or discreet card) is functioning normally.  Have you also tried the HDMI output?

  Replacing the motherboard will be the only way to solve the problem that there is no discrete graphics module in your laptop.

• How can I get the data view to display the same amount of time I save?

  I use the Sound and Vibration Measurement Suite.  In the data view, I display a graph of time, the power spectrum, the Color Map and the waterfall.  I am also showing strength in numbers group for several bands and doing cutting-edge research.  I record 100 ms of the transient wave.  In the data view, why the temporal plots show several seconds of data?  What determines how much time will appear in the data view?  More important, the power spectrum reflects the power for the entire of several seconds of data displayed?  Same question for power in the values of band and cutting-edge research.  I want to just this data displayed for 100 ms of the wave that I record.  So, how can I get the data displayed (waveforms) and power numbers come only 100 ms of the recorded wave?

  Finally, what is the best way to make account concisely the recorded data?  By slide numbers on the Documentation tab is not concise, because it comes with graphics, etc..  I tried save as ASCII/LVM, but I get a bunch of stuff intermiated I don't care.  Help?

  SignalExpress is programmed to display graphs with default scales based on the type of action, it's reading. These scales and settings can be changed by right-clicking on the graph, and then select Properties.

  I have to draw 12 plots in a waveform graph. I chose the colors in the legend of land for each parcel. But I don't want to display graph 12 at a time. I have as many checkboxes for selection as graphical user settings of the parameter to which want to see. I did what his works well.

  But there is a problem in the color of the graph, if I select 12 parameters at a time, then it displays with the same color I selected on the legend of the plot.   Your problem isn't that you have changed the colors on the chart, it's that you have change the label.  Actually, you have restructured your table in its entirety.

  Why don't you use the Visible field? property to determine what is visible.  Now you're talking almost no code.

  I am developing an application in labview 8.2 and I have a display problem pour my graphs. Indeed, I have two graphs on the front (graph 1 and graph 2) who launch are all two visbles with their curve. I wish to make a single visible on both using a Patterns. My problem is that when for example I put visible graph 1 and graph 2 invisible, the curve of graph 1 disappears (same conclusion if I displayed graph 2 and makes invisble graph 1, the curve appears more on graph 2).

• How can I restrict the movement of a cursor caught in the visible part of a graph?

  When I take a cursor in a graph and getting too close to the edge left or right of the chart (in a movement of the x axis), the displayed graph pans to the right or to the left of the graphics window. Is there a setting to delete this or I have to programmatically delete? And if so, how? Wouldn't I need a filter event ' cursor move?

  So, I went to the ATI Web page, I downloaded the latest catalyst suite, but it did not work "Problem with your software/hardware" (were the drivers for Windows 7-64), reflection, is that in the page Web of ATI says:

  The only suite ATI that works is the 9.9, the rest install me just the Install Manager and some other components but not display/graph drivers.

  So what I need to do to update my drivers? Why can't those ATI?

  You should only use the pre-tested driver Toshiba because they are changed from the original with protection against overheating. If you try to install these drivers, they can damage your graphics card. I remember, there was a user playing with drivers such as lead to damage of the graphics card.

  I have a three page tab set up with a different chart running on it so that I can save some space on the screen and the leg through the graphics at will. My question is how can I make sure that the two graphs do not always displayed graph their data? When I click between tabs, it starts at 0 and then written from there. How can I make sure that it displays the same length of data like its counterpart? They are really just showing the same thing but differently calculated.

  The best thing you can do is lose control tab - you have no need and LV has a long history of tab controls and graphics don't play well together.

  Consider, you have three sets of data but only see a graph at the same time. Have a graph and indicate a way for the user to select among the three sets of data to display on this graph of one. Believe me, the code will be simpler and much more robust.

  I use Measurement Studio 2009 (c#) to display graphs of waveform.

  Question: How can I format the labels to the major division of a XAxis (or YAxis) such as:

  -A value of 1000 will display "1 k".

  -A value of 0.001 will display "1 m".

  -etc.

  I'm looking for is equivalent to the following where Studio 8 (C++)

  -CNiAxis::FormatString = "k".

  -C' was called "symbolic notation.

  I looked in. MajorDivisions.LabelFormat but I'm not quite sure what do what I'm looking for.

  I did experiment with vs p / M/S lately in the context of data aquistion. Many messages did appear (correct me if I'm wrong) that p/c is the correct architecture to if the data retention is desired, so that's what I tried to implement.

  In the loop of producer, I've included 3 Assistant DAQ VIs (2AO, 1 HAVE), which generates data actively and which is being queued. I have 3 other loops of consumers, two of which are consumer 1) written loops of 2) outputs TDMS data of a chart 3) no producer: structure of the event, monitors changes to the user interface.

  When I run data acquisition, the generated file are always half either acquire the half of the sample that I've specified regardless of the sampling rate. I also have a strange displayed graph (see image).

  If I replace with a master/slave architecture, this seems to solve the problem.

  So question is: anyone met with this kind of problems? Are there disadvantages to stick with M/S instead of p/c in terms of data loss?
