  • Satellite M55 - PCI modem and Ethernet controller continue missing

    Hi all

I got this Satellite M55 quite a few years and until now it works really not too bad for me apart from a few minor errors here and there...
Just recently, I sometimes have some hard to connect to wireless internet.
It could always be connected only after hitting plugged in at least 2 or 3 times, and the connection is not persistent in time.
When I look on the computer management, it seems the Ethernet controller and PCI Modem are missing. I tried to search and re - install drivers associated with wireless local area network and so forth, but stops the error.
This advice would be really appreciated!
    Thank you in advance.

  • Where can I download the compatible driver Intel(r) 537EP V9x DF PCI Modem work under Windows 7?

I just upgraded my Dell Dimension 5100 to Windows 7 from XP. I can't get any internet connection with cable or wireless. I think the problem is the PCI modem. Where can I download the compatible driver Intel(r) 537EP V9x DF PCI Modem work under Windows 7?

Original title: MODEM PCI FOR WINDOWS 7 DRIVER

Thank you for your comments. I use the dial upward. However, my PC does not connect to broadband, even with direct Ethernet cable connection or adapter wireless Netgear WPN111, I used happily with XP on the same computer. Device Manager displays the PCI as incompatible. FYI, I downloaded and installed the latest drivers for the wireless card.

    Install the following:

Dell systems must run more stably once they installed. I would remove the modem PCI card.

Intel Pro/100 VE Ethernet should work natively with Windows 7 as Windows 7 has built-in driver:

  • Need help on info for thinkpad x 31/PCI modem and PM device

Guys, I searched in the intenert for awhile, but no luck... Can someone tell me what the power management device and PCi modem is?... And where can I find the driver for PCI modem for think pad x 31.

I need information about the PM device and PCI modem and what is its role?

    Hello

A power management driver allows the operating system more precise on how energy is used by the various components of a control computer.  Installation it can improve the battery life as well as characteristics related to food, such as the Hibernate and sleep.

A modem driver allows the ThinkPad to use its modem built for various purposes (Internet access dial-up, Fax transmission, etc.).

All the drivers for the ThinkPad X 31 can be found at http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/research/hints-or-tips/detail.page?&DocID=HT072373.

  • AOpen FM56-PM without card PCI Modem in Windows 7

When I try to install the device driver, I get a message saying the drivers are no longer compatible with Windows NT 4.0.  When I run the driver in compatibility mode installation of Windows NT 4.0 (Service Pack 5) runs and fails.  It has no pilots last updated for this device is if there is something that I can do the other then buying a new modem?

I doubt it.  It must be 20 years or more and the specifications are very different.  Compatibility makes it a blow of dagger to get a legacy driver to work in a new system.  Sometimes it works, sometimes not.

  • HP Compaq dx2300 format microtour missing PCI Simple Communications Controller Driver (Modem?). WinXP

    Hello

I had to restore a HP Compaq dx2300 format microtour Win XP system from the recovery partition.

Everything seemed to work fine except no driver found for PCI Simple communication controller.

There was no modem in Device Manager.

I downloaded the driver for the modem on the HP website, but it will not identify / install the driver.

Remains of the error. (no driver found for PCI Simple communication controller.)

    Any Suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.

    My apologies to Paul.

Your label says HP Expert 2014. I made a mistaken assumption that you were part of HP.

I agree that it probably isn't a standard part of HP. I also looked at their specs and the database driver.
I tried to use never version on the HP web site for their standard model for Agere 56 K PCI Modem driver. He did not consider it as one appropriate driver.

However, I could only identify a compatible driver using a new pilot identifier utility (new to me at least).

    It seems to work.

I think I'll keep it in my toolbox in the future.

My apolgoies once again and thank you for your efforts.

  • Modem PCI drivers

I have recently upgraded to Windows 7 Professional 32 bit, I have only driver problem which seems to be difficult to solve and that is a driver for my data/fax PCI modem of ideas where I can get a compatible driver?

If you have upgraded to Vista, there's a reasonable chance that you can use the Vista driver, but if you've gone from XP, you may be out of luck.

For more information on which modems are compatible, see here...

    Hi keiberg,.

If you perform a reinstallation always use your CD of tools & utilities Toshiba. Normally the same drivers as you can find on the internet. I don't know that it was your mistake.

All the drivers on the internet are updated regularly and I can't imagine for me that there is something wrong.

    Good day.
