HP envu 4500 on XP embedded

Hello

I tried to install a built-in desire 4500 on xp, but it will not be printed.

During installation (cd), it's already past evil.

Most of the installation files is reported missing and the installation program tells me (for ex) cannot find the file "name of the witch I forgot" in c: Windows drivers...

If I explore the cd I can find the file, give the facility that the new developing of it goes.

until the next file is missing, gone in the find, search for the file on the cd and it will again.

to, everything seems fine and finds envy 4500 when I plugin usb.

So far so good.

If I go to the envy of 4500 program that is installed on the computer now, I can print a report, search for inkt how it is in the cartridge, scan a document... etc...

If I go to printers and faxes, watch 4500 envy and access the properties trying to print a test page, nothing happens.

If I go to wordpad for ex and try to print, I can see the desire 4500 but it will not print - nothing happens.

I tried already to disable driver signing requirements

tried to look into the option I have enough admin rights

I think that there is some missing file in the sys32 or in windows but cannot know what lack us.

like all the world has some experience with this?

Best regards

Sven

Hi Sven,

Windows XP Embedded is an operating system for specific material, it is simply not expected for hardware installation 3rd part as the operating system is personal and may not include system files that are required by the software want to 4500, I also suggest to contact the provider Windows Embeded and check what devices it can support.

You can find more info on the operating system in the following document:

http://download.Microsoft.com/download/7/1/2/71252520-2bb9-43C3-891b-bc09bfdde152/DifferencesBetweenWindowsXPEmbeddedandWindowsXPProfessional.PDF

However, be aware that printing software requires that Service Pack 3 and this can also cause such a problem.

  • What are the causes with embedded journalists can always be unloaded by the media broken or deleted all my emails? How can I fix it?

Whenever people send me emails with embedded videos or images, e-mail is always without the media. It will be just the outline of the empty box where it supposed to be with an icon of the page broken tiny in the upper left corner.

I can't seem to find the cause and the solution, and it happened for a few years already. It has nothing to do with my being always POP and not IMAP account? What are the possible reasons and solutions? Please help, thanks.

Someone sent me a message with a broken image. Here's what I found.

There are two factors that control the display of the remote images in email:

  • Put a youtube Viewer code embedded in an email

I want to put a youtube video in an e-mail message. Not a link to a video but an embeded Viewer in the e-mail as on your FB wall

Well, go to Youtube. Pick up the embed code they offer. Go to Thunderbird, create a message in html format. Go to Insert | HTML, paste your embed code in the provided box.

It may or may not work; Much depends upon if your recipient's e-mail client supports this. Thunderbird itself won't work from scripts, so I don't expect anyone viewing your message using Thunderbird to see the Viewer.

Are you sure you want to do this? I could find it terribly embarrassing at work if I open an email and instantly, he started playing a video.

  • embedded videos will not play

Combination of problems started recently (about a month I guess), at the same time:
    1. embedded videos will not play (for example. Facebook, CNN). I can hear the sound but the picture is black with sparkles casual video
    2. I have a lag when I type. Applies when I'm looking, web addresses of Scripture, and when I fill out forms like this
    3. when I type in the box search or Firefox address, I see a blue rectangle where I type.

I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, no difference. I'm running Windows 7 on a Dell XPS 15Z, 64-bit. Using the antivirus Avast and Adblocker Plus (I disabled that, has not made a difference). Can't think of everything that happened at the same time, these problems started, for example. I have not installed (knowingly) all new software

" 1. Embedded videos will not play (for example. Facebook, CNN). I can hear the sound but the picture is black with sparkles casual video

There is a free feature that was originally black web pages, but there have been updates to block graphics drivers that were affected. I would first check to make sure that your graphics drivers are up to date. Update your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL

    2. I'm experiencing a lag when I type. Applies when I'm searching, writing web addresses, and when I'm filling out forms like this one

Since there is a lag when you type, I suspect two things: the feature that remembers the form content is too large or that a running script can be consumes resources on your computer. Please check to make sure that all your add ons and plugins are up to date: https://www.mozilla.org/plugincheck/

    3. when I type in the box search or Firefox address, I see a blue rectangle where I type. '

This improves after updating the graphics driver or disabling hardware acceleration? If this isn't the case, please run a virus scan. Troubleshooting Firefox problems caused by malicious software

  • Embedded audio player doesn't work with Firefox in a laptop computer, but works fine on a PC. How can I fix? It started with the new design of Firefox.

This problem apparently only occurs with the audio player built into http://www.theskepticsguide.org/ . I tried other embedded audio players from other websites and they work fine. In the Firefox installed in my laptop, no matter what I do it does not play the SGU podcast. When I try to click on the download option it says "Video cannot be read because the file is corrupted. However, I can play and download the podcast without any problem with Firefox installed in my PC, which is the exact same version that is in my laptop, so I don't really know what could be the cause.

I remember that this was not the case before the new design of Firefox. I tried the solutions proposed on this problem before asking this question. I checked that the plugins are up-to-date. I removed all the addons and plugins, and this did not help either. Firefox reset with no luck. Also tried a fresh install of Firefox and it didn't work. I used the laptop without synchronization first, and then synchronize with no difference. Flash is up to date and there is no apparent problems there.

Maybe it's a codec missing or damaged? I wouldn't trust codecs from sources other than Microsoft for this purpose, since Firefox tries to use Windows to read the file.

If you decide to give up and around the native player for a plugin, these changes of settings usually work for this:

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the filter box, type or paste media and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) [except XP], double-click on media.windows - media - foundation.enabled to change its value from true to false.

    (4) double click on media.directshow.enabled to change its value from true to false.

  • Why YouTube on Firefox offers quality options so little even if the video can be viewed in better quality on Chrome or when it is embeded?

I noticed that YouTube offers only three quality options for videos seen on the page of the video (240 p, 360 p and 720 p) even while the video offerings also are significantly higher. An example of this is the following video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DvY5irWC7kA (aygoman/u / / r / Oman); seen in Chrome or when they are embedded in a page (such as through the RES addon), the video options are more verbose: 240 p, 360 p, 480 p, 720 p, 1080 p, 2160 p.

While I do not typically consider above 720 p, sometimes I want the ability to watch a video in 1080 p or 480 p and cannot for some reason.

Enter about: config in the address bar. It will give a warning, click on the button that says "I'll be careful, I promise! Paste this into the search bar of subject of config.

    Media.MediaSource.Enabled

and double-click the entry showed to make it true and "BOLD". Html5 videos will now will show all resolutions. If this is no problem, double-click the entry again to make it false. Make sure you are in the process of html and flash is disabled on youtube.com

  • HP Officejet 4500 G510n Scan via airport utility?

How can I get my HP Officejet 4500 G510n to perform a SCAN using airport utility?

Airport utility is not related to operating an MFP. It there is no scan via airport utility function or any what router airport. That is, the printer must be connected through its network and NO USB connection to the router. What is the Airport base station is the printer is simply a network client. No printer function any is active via the airport.

You must install the drivers HP and the complete software for any OS that you are running on your computer.

It's the HP drivers and software that will allow you to scan over network. Or if NOT, maybe... often scanning on network is problematic.

Make the same mistake on YouTube?

I see that you have the YouTube HTML5 Player extension.

What is with the help of Adobe Flash Player or media player YouTube HTML5?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    "Clear the Cache":

    • Firefox/tools > Options > advanced > network > content caching Web: 'clear now '.

    'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

    • Firefox/tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

Create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problems.

    See "create a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a profile in the new profile, but make sure not to copy corrupted files.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall java, firefox, quicktime, and flash. I tried to run firefox in safe mode. I tried just to disable adblock and noscript. I tried leaving adblock and noscript on but allowing all scripts and pop-up windows. I made sure that all my plugins are up to date. I cleared my cookies and cache. I don't know I tried some other stuff I don't remember even at this stage. Again, this is not only a problem on my computer, it is also a question about 2 laptops, FF 20.0 operation, my office and the other are running FF 20.0.1.

(I took screenshots of all the issues involved as well as the plug ins update but I don't see where to add them.)

So I've narrowed it down so it's most likely a problem with javascript. Before, I never knew that java and javascript have nothing to do with each other. With this knowledge, I found that javascript is linked to your browser itself. Theres no way of javascript itself to uninstall and reinstall to fix the problem. I already tried to uninstall/reinstall firefox so either something went seriously wrong or I somehow had no thought for the guilty again, and whereas I ruined my brain and couldn't think of anything else before formatting my computer, I was at a loss.

With 2 other computers with these questions, it seemed that it could be the browser related since I had not being updated anything on the other computers recently. But if it is why firefox itself wasn't there a storm of protest from the internet? Certainly, I couldn't be the only one to get screwed.

Then it dawned on me. I wonder if my router would block javascript somehow. Sure enough there was something called "filter applets java" which is the erroneous mention since its not java but javascript. Unchecked and suddenly everything is all better! I don't know how this started, but I was out, trying to figure out this stupid thing = P

So if someone else never falls by chance on this thread with a similar problem, check your router, it might be screwing you over and you would never realize. Apparently, it has developed before and people have reformatted trying to fix only to discover later that the router was the question. Thank God it is not come to this!

  • All embedded videos in articles of the internet and YouTube play sound but no picture

My problem started about 2 weeks ago. Before that, I could directly play any video on Youtube or any video embedded in a Web download.
Now video games, in the sense that I have sound and the time elapsed bar moves along the bottom of the screen, but there is no video, just a complete green screen. This applies to any video on Youtube or incorporated into an internet download.
I can still play any video I already downloaded on my PC, that this Flash Video or MP4 file.
The latest versions of Windows Media Player, VLC Media Player, Media Player Classic and Adobe Flash Player players installed on my PC.
The problem started at the same time there was a major update to my program free antivirus Avast (to the 8.0.1482 version), but it is probably a red herring, as I struggle to believe this might have something to do with the problem.
I also tried on Internet Explorer and the problem is all the same, it is not specific to Firefox.
    Can anyone offer a solution?
    Kind regards
