  Hello everyone.

  First of all, the English is not my native language, I'm going to do something to be as clear as possible, sorry if my grammar is not perfect.
  Please read this and help that you could provide.

  I just bought (a week) ago a QOSMIO X 770 - 127, I was seduced by its screen and player BluRa 3D, because I mainly want to watch film on it, to work (I am editor) or at home (I'm a viewer of the film).

  BUT there is something absolutely wrong here:
  While I watch a movie with windows media player or VLC, the file can be an AVI, MKV, QUICKTIME, DIVX or something else, even from a DVD or a BluRay Disc, the display changes during the film, let me explain:

  If the shot in the film is brilliant, the screen gets darker, that if the shot is dark, the screen gets bighter!
  It's really disturbing!

  I have not found how to cancel this option which is really annoying, we're supposed to be here to get the best way to watch a movie and the work of the Director of photography and colorist are not met at all!
  First of all, I checked in my option players (vlc, windows media, corel win dvd bd player) then none of them speak a brightness control changes automatically according to the displayed image.
  I check in the NVIDIA graphics card option and found nothing, even in windows tools and the toshiba software pre-installed with the PC.

  So please, help me in solving this problem! Maybe I missed something in all the places that I checked, but this kind of option must be accessible in a way... I hope at least!

  Driver display means that the graphics ;) driver
  The European driver Toshiba page provides two drivers of graphics cards:
  A v268.51 from nVidia and the other a modified by Toshiba v8.15.10.2353
  Please check them both!

  But to be honest I have never heard such display the question and it s don't know for me that any software would change the brightness based on the content of the film.

  Have you set the brightness of the screen to the max using FN + F7?

  I bought my G40 August 16 and after 16 days, when I change screen brightness level will do some sort of strange noise but if I change the brightness Maxium sound will disappear.

  I noticed the same thing on different laptops. I presume that this sound change power supply for FL inverter product. You must be in a quiet room to hear that absolute. I checked on Tecra M and Satellite M70 and the result is the same.

  Very bright, means that the display jumps to highest brightness of the screen as if you were using the FN + F7 key combination to enhance the brightness?

  Have you checked the brightness of the screen in Windows power management?

  What operating system you are using? Maybe you need to update the VAP and utility Support Flash Cards to use the FN keys again.

  As a first step if you want to test with external monitor use FN + F5 key combination to switch the desktop on the external monitor. Please, do it and let us know if the situation is the same.
  Drive HARD install or repair option doesn't exist on old Equium A100.

  The output cannot be changed. 5V to 3, 3V level controllers are readily available (Maxim, I think). As long as the scanning speed (etc.) is fast enough for your pulse train, even 3, 3V regulator would work. I don't know if NEITHER offers a module to condition TTL levels.

  I suggest tryuninstalling and reinstall the game and check to see if it helps:

  a. click the Start button, select Control Panel, click programs and then click turn on turn Windows features on or off. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  b. click girls games, uncheck the Minesweeper and click ok.
  3. restart the computer, follow the same procedure and check the Minesweeper.

  I got the game "Chess Titans" runs under Vista 32 bit. It works OK. But it seems impossible to change the difficulty level"of the game. The only time I was able to change the "level of difficulty" is when I installed MS Vista. I tried 'Options' - but it does not contain something immediately useful in this regard.

  Certainly, you can change the difficulty level of Chess Titans.
  1. Once you start the game.
  2. click on the game and then go to options.
  3. in the new window that opens, in the top right of windows, you can cursor diffculty.
  4. move the slider from left to right to increase the difficulty. There are 10 levels of difficulty from 1 to 10.
  5. Once you have customized your settings click Ok.

  * If the slider is dimmed or crashes, you can try to uninstall and reinstall the game using "turn Windows Feature On or Off.

  As I was the one who asked this question, I send you this so you will know how it seems to have solved the problem. I use Google Chrome as my main browser and Internet Explorer my back-up.  My operating system is Vista.

  I updated to Chrome at the latested, I upgraded to Vista later.  I got the installer and driver for the touchpad.  I dropped the last of the mouse driver.  So I uninstalled the keyboard and the mouse.  I made sure he had not left on my machine except new software downloads.  I then installed the touchpad and its software.  Then I installed the mouse driver.  Again made sure all the old mouse software had disappeared, emptied the Recycle Bin and rebooted.

  The machine has been fine since.
