HP envy 15 t-j100: hp don't envy 15t - j100 - no bluetooth

I bought my Hp envy 15 t-j100 last year and since then I have no bluetooth on this unit. How can I get bluetooth?

Press the power button and then immediately press the ESC key to call the start menu.

In the boot menu, press the F1 key to display the information esystem section.

Information system will provide details on your laptop, including a Bluetooth FCC ID, if a card compatible bluetooth is installed.

If you do not see a bluetooth FCC ID, this means that your laptop doesn't have bluetooth as part of its installed equipment capacity.

    Hello

I can't calrify that because it's a CTO machine and did you pay for the NVIDIA card option when ordering the machine? Pilot is on the site of support, sound as material is not on your machine.

If no physical hardwre, 10 Windows cannot do anything about it. Now, my suggestion: talk to the place where you place your order and ask to give a COMPLETE listing of your computer. Part store lists only the options, not your machine.

  • HP Envy 15t: the resolution on the external display support

I want to put my HP Envy 15t to drive an external, not as an extension monitor, but rather as my first monitor.  My external monitor is a Viewsonic VX2250, a bit older and I use an HDMI adapter / VGA.  (The Viewsonic also has DVI inputs... not sure it would make a difference.)  On my current tour, I use the monitor in its recommended (or native mode) 1920 x 1080 definition.  I love this screen.

The adapter is a Bytecc HM-VGA005 and specs seem to indicate that it can handle a variety of video resolutions - Full HD (1080 p), WUXGA (1920 x 1200 mode RB) and UXGA (1600 x 1200-mode VESA).

15 t is currently shooting in the recommended 1366 x 768 resolution.  If I understand the straight plug, in HD mode it is 1366 x 768 and FHD mode is 1920 x 1080.   The graphics card is an Intel Graphics HD 4600.  Is this the reason why I can't get a HD resolution and not FHD resolution on the laptop?

But whenever I plug all this together and try and change the settings for screen for laptop, the external screen resolution is only 1024 x 768... pretty ugly.  I have it so that the laptop screen is dark and only the external monitor is on.  But it doesn't seem to be any choice I can do to improve this resolution.  I checked that the graphics driver is up to date and it is.

What should I do to get the best screen I can on the external monitor?  Would like to buy a new monitor HDMI inputs get better results?  Do I need a different adapter?

    Thank you... Kurt

Me again!  Well, it was a bit the nut behind the wheel.  I checked with the store that I've been buying my cables, adapters, etc.  He said to the Viewsonic monitor to see what might happen.  As I was put in place, he asked on the power adapter.  I got the USB cable but do not think it was necessary.  But after putting everything together in addition to feeding the HDMI adapter / VGA, I could see, I was getting the resolution I hoped.  Why it worked on the monitor Dell, no idea... maybe a better monitor or other VGA cable.  The Bytecc adpater didn't come with instructions, so I didn't.

All right.  Hope this helps someone in the future.

I understand you would like to know if the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950 M in the HP 15 t Envy is the DDR3 or GDDR5?

When I checked Maintenance of laptops HP ENVY and Service of Guide, looking at the memory specifications it States they are DDR3 type.  I can't say for some, but most likely the GTX950M is also of this type for compatibility purposes.

  • TouchSmart HP ENVY 15t with chipset Intel Centrino Wireless N 2230 not picking up the Wireless N

I just picked up a Touchsmart from HP ENVY 15t and want to connect to wirelessn but he does not see my router n wireless band. I do not however see the Group g. I fiddled with some of the configuration of the pilot, but he has not made a difference. I have a HP Ultrabook job and never had a problem so I know that the router is not serious. BTW, it's a Belkin AC1200 router. I saw drivers updated on the HP website but got some updated of Intels Web site. I can't believe it's a problem. I use to work on network cards, back in the day and it is hard to believe that it would not feature standard/tested. Any thoughts would be GREATLY appreciated!

Wow this is interesting that Intel comes out there are issues but I applaud on that! I have replace the card and it went well. Hard to get off this part of the front back. Also a few small screws and two tiny wires that must be back in place to the new card. (God miss me the fat old branch PCI cards.)  :-)) So care must be taken with it but other than that worked great.

I originally had all sorts of problems and I think that it is because in my effort to fix the 2230, I downloaded this bad set of drivers which speak of the previous answer. So I uninstalled the wireless pro software, and then he had automatically detect drivers and he chose an earlier version and then everything worked. I guess that the default windows driver will work, but I think that because I had previously installed, it will not work. If I had to do it over I would have uninstalled the first 2230 (otherwise your new wireless network will be called wi - fi 2) and also the proset wireless software.

If you uninstall not the 2230 first before Exchange you the card then go to Device Manager and select hidden devices to get rid of him. For reason of removing sound (I think also helped) along with (as I mentioned) the auto detected Intel java plugin detects the old version of the drivers seem to be the thing that finally did it for me. I got around the full bars and the signal strength is phenomenal for 2.4 and 5 ghz bands.

I've also used these recommended Intel for the card and the router settings

    http://www.Intel.com/support/wireless/sb/CS-030709.htm

For some reason, my router Belkin necessary WMM enabled for devices to work with these settings. Hope this helps someone...

  • HP Envy 15t q300: HP Envy 15 t - get Intel Bluetooth to work

    Hi all

I got my envy 15 t for a little less than a year now. It came with Windows 7 Pro 64 bit and worked bluetooth without any problem since then. I have recently formatted with the OS same and had no harm to re - install all but one of the drivers: Intel Bluetooth. Currently, the computer recognizes the material as "Generic Bluetooth adapter" + "Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator".

I'm going to have is with this configuration, add any device which should be 'plug' and game (say, a bluetooth speaker) will result in a non recognized "Bluetooth peripheral device". I found the solution (which worked on a friend's computer) was to get from the manufacturer of the laptop bluetooth driver and install it. After installing, everything worked as it is supposed to and it can sink audio bluetooth without any problem, happy days.

However, on my HP Envy 15 t, no version of the Intel Pro Wireless Bluetooth driver/software package will install. I always run into the same error exactly at the same point during installation. I tried to get the Intel software directly, through utility upgrade of Intel, directly from HP and HP Support Assistant everything to nothing done. The error is:

-"There is a problem with this Windows Installer Package. A program run as part of the Setup did not finish as expected. Contact your supplier of staff or the package of support ".

When you click 'OK', the installation program "cancels" installation and goes back to square one. I noticed that if I keep the dialog open error box and do not roll back, bluetooth seems to work (labeled as "Intel Bluetooth Adapter" in the Device Manager) and the device can analyze and find the discoverable devices.

Has anyone runs into this problem or can anyone recommend how to proceed? Thank you very much.

    Solved!

For those who have this problem, in my view, that it is associated with a registry corrupted / Setup Bluetooth Intel from a fresh and complete installation.

I used this utility Microsoft install/uninstall to uninstall the Intel Bluetooth software:

    https://support.Microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed

Then I had the latest drivers straight from Intel that listed my model under supported wireless adapters (it is the same model as your WIFI under 'Network adapters' chipset in Device Manager). Installation worked like a charm.

I hope that this solution works for others

Webcam is dead.  During the launch of software or application, the light (hardware access) but will immediately switch with loop No.-camera photo/camera.

    It does NOT work.

Try opening Windows camera - and I can look at device manager freak out and flash camera, without camera, camera, no camera... over and over.  If I turn off the device, then the application stops sending looping error messages and said without a camera. (yes I know I disabled it, but the loop tells me that it is a specific driver problem).

I uninstalled the device, permis allowed Windows to detect, yet install base driver. Now instead of HP TrueVision HD, in Device Manager it detects USB video device.

I need to find a COURSE working DRIVER for HP TRUEVISION HD WEBCAM

I visited every thread on this forum, visited each Microsoft talked to YouCam, thread AND to HP, I was told to factory reset my laptop, but after 4 times by HP USB restore factory reset did not work.  I didn't want to send in my laptop, it is a driver issue, which is quite clear.

  • Slow... Right out of the box - HP ENVY 15t, w7 pro

    Build is below.

I've had this laptop since end of August 2014. He soon right out of the box. Technical support has been of little help and suggested that I needed a HP service called Smart Friends. At a cost that is an option I did not wish to engage with a laptop that was only 3 weeks at the time. I called tech support twice on this slow condition, they escape to the frustrating and boring.

I created an operating system/repair disk and restore as one point of my first orders of operations by getting this laptop. Those who have not helped. The purpose of this laptop is strictly for use when travelling to which I've not yet done. I guess I could have a total of 5-6 hours of use on this computer. My HP desktop computer is my main computer.

For example, in MS config I have which where only 3 vital elements are checked and it still takes 75 to 80 seconds of power to display the windows desktop. It takes 40 seconds to load control panel if you click on it, I get the blue wheel. I created a unique 26KO word doc. When I click to open, I get the blue wheel that is opening the document. It is simply not true. I spent more time troubleshooting this new laptop to use it for its intended purpose.

I thought about safe mode or a clean boot. I don't have to. I did a system restore and a clean install once already.

    Schedules:

    -Microsoft Security Essentials

-Office 2010 about 6 weeks after taking possession.

    -Malware Bytes

Again, it was slow, until I loaded one of these three programs on this laptop.

It's with or without being connected to the internet.

I need an original system disk if all the one I created is just a mirror of what can happen?

Clues that performance results did not appear my search on?

    Thank you...
