HP ENVY 700-215xt CTO desktop: bluetooth

My computer will see a bluetooth device but will not pair with the device.  I tried to connect with multiple devices, but none will pair.  The drivers are up to date.  How can I solve this problem?

  • HP ENVY 700-230qe CTO desktop PC

Hello, I want to use 5 TB hard drive as boot drive (C:\) with partition type GPT for Windows 10 x 64 Pro, but provided BIOS does not allow me to load windows on DISK of Type GPT even if I start this desktop in UEFI mode computer.

Can someone please tell me how to load Windows 10 X 64 Pro type GPT hard drive from zero (New Installation)?  My PC BIOS system is 6/2013 and I don't see any more recent BIOS with the necessary fix...!

    Thank you

    Hello Riddle,

Thank you very much for your prompt and quick response here.  Sorry for reply late bit by me.

Here what I did to resolve this unique problem of landmines.  After spending hours searching online, finally, I've been succssful for windows 5 TB GPT HD 10

    (1) started the desktop computer HP Envy 700-230qe CTO in Legacy BIOS and 5 to as MBR format (only 2 TB has been recognized in the MBR, FYI)... and loaded Windows Pro x 64 using Windows DVD 10 (under Legacy BIOS, I was able to get the key USB and USB CD/DVD bootable options, which are not there to Boot UEFI.)

    (2) after successful installation of Windows 10, I used AMOEI Partition Wizard and converted my HD MBR of HD Type GPT, and fortunately I have is not losing any data system or windows and then shut down the PC

    (3) changed Legacy UEFI BIOS, restarted the PC and luckinly this time, converted GPT HD recognized with WIndows installed 10, and PC has started after a few minutes of setting.

    (4) once, I was in environment WIndows 10, I was able to use the rest 3 TB of space as another partition I formatted using Standard Windows disk management.  Am so happy that I could find practical solution so that I am able to use fully 5 TB with Secure Boot to increase the security of my PC.

    Thank you

  • Envy 700-215xt Broadcom bluetooth driver Win 8.1

    Hello!

My new HP Envy 700 - 215xt came with Win 7 Home and I've updated to 8.1 Pro Win.  In control compatibility before the upgrade, the software said that the bluetooth device driver was not compatible with Win 8 and forced me to uninstall it, I did.

Now everything has been migrated and works fine, except for the part of Broadcom wireless adapter bluetooth.  The WiFi worked very well.  In Device Manager, I see the card wifi Broadcoom BCM43142 under the heading, network cards and I see a BCM43142A0 listed in the other peripheral topic, and it shows that there is no driver installed for him.  Try to uninstall/reinstall, it is nothing and a Windows search for a driver comes empty also.

I downloaded and tried to install sp64557 from the support page, and it gave me the error "your system does not meet the minimum requirements for this update.  Update cancelled. »

It is not a show stopper if I can't use bluetooth (at least not right away), but is there a procedure that I am missing to get this device works, or a driver available to support this device in Win 8.1?

    Thank you!

  • HP Envy 700-215XT: it fits?

Hello, I bought a HP ENVY 700-215XT HP recently. I'm a PC gamer, so I want to change my graphics card to a gigabyte g1 gtx 970, my most important question, will she made? Is it compatible?

    Hello

your first concern should be a diet... the gtx 970 has a suggested minimum power of 500w... yours is an OEM 300 w without external power connectors... first get a PSU w 600 or 650

come to the part of editing, the card is a 10.5 inch... your motherboard is a 9.6 * 9.6 and therefore the 970 will cover the length of your mobo... it's not a problem, but if there's a huge mangle of son in your pc then tie up carefully or get a modular PSU... result is, it will fit but make sure the inside is not crowded then the card can heat too

Compatibility depends on your bios... .the 970 requires UEFI BIOS to run and your pc stand so no worries there

    Hope this helps

  • Add HD 4850 video card in HP Envy 700-215xt

I want to add a Radeon HD 4850 HD-485 X-ZNFC video card in HP Envy 700-215xt (model: F9A62AV) whose video card (Intel HD Graphics, DVI - D graph) is too poor to run Samsung monitor (24in).  HD 4850 videocard needs connector 6 pin power, but I can't find the power connector or cable. What should I do?

The PSU minimum power, with a PCIe power connector 6-pin requirement is 450 watts.

Your PC has a 300 Watt POWER supply. Is not enough power for the XFX video card.

You must also upgrade the PSU to intensify your graphics card for a XFX HD4850 video card.

If you are unable to get a graphical output on the 24-inch display, then it is likely to be a problem with the display or the cable.  You may not be the entry configured to automatically recognize a video signal. You can test that by connecting the original display. If you get a video output to the original display there is nothing wrong with the motherboard or the CPU. Intel HD4600 graphics are provided by the CPU, not a graphics card.

  • HP Envy 700 215Xt: request info for BIOS described below

I hope I'm posting in the appropriate section, basically a beginner in this room. I have a desktop HP Envy 215XT 700 with Windows 7 Pro 64 Bit OS. My interest is in the BIOS, and basically, I want to understand better. What I would like is to have a manual or guide for this BIOS, if there is such a thing. For example, if you have more than one drive installed, or even the DVD drive and HDD, other places to start from, if bring you up the BIOS screen, then select F10, you can select a boot device. You can also do this in F9. I have to do one, two or what? And in what order. I'm starting to think that this computer does NOT like the 2 discs hard bootable installed, period. A bootable, one works better,

2AF7 system board / Cfg, ID 1.00 product / Bios Rev MEM v80.16 / CPU Intel core 17-4771 3.50 GHz cpu.

1 can or I would be able to run (2) 1 terabyte drives in the computer, and can both be bootable or just one?

    2. does anyone know if there is a BIOS update or a newer firmware to do this, my opinion is not.

    3. I have here available, a person, a sort of User Guide with details of Setup when using this BIOS to go n informed approach?

    Thank you.

    Hello jpw389 ;

Let me welcome you on the HP forums!

I read your post on the BIOS info and wanted to help.

You can have any number of disks bootable on a PC, but the BIOS has a defined order in which he sees these readers, and it will attempt to boot an OS in that order.  So, with more than one bootable disc to begin the second drive, you must do one of the following:

    (1) change the order of the drives in the list of the BIOS to move the other drive to the top of the list

    2) press the function key that allows you to select a drive to boot from

The difference in the use of these two is that the first change is permanent, the second for a boot.

Regarding versions of BIOS, the link is on the Page of the product HP to Win7 for your PC: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-ENVY-700-Desktop-PC-series/5399651/model/6667346

Under the BIOS section, you will see two updates to the BIOS.  You can check yours to see what version of BIOS uses at present.  There is no other update BIOS.

    Good luck

I'm a volunteer and I do not work for, or represent, HP.

  • Ports SATA, eSATA capacity in HP ENVY 700-215xt

I am considering a desktop HP ENVY 215xt 700 PC.  I see the motherboard has 4 different color SATA ports, but can't find anything in the documentation describing the.  Are some readers allocated to hard, other DVD players?  I want to add a bracket eSATA to image the internal HD to a hard drive external.  It is therefore important to know what MB SATA connector to use.

In addition, there is a documentation on the BIOS for the motherboard of Memphis-B?  Could not find.

    Hello kk123,

I understand that you are curious about SATA ports on your motherboard and that they are specific to the device. I'm linking you to an HP support document: all SATA hard drives and controller Modes, which should answer your questions about the SATA controllers.

I am also including a HP support document: Serial ATA Hard Drive cablesthat if you scroll down to the end of the document is a table that explains the colors of SATA connectors and what they are for.

Finally, I provide you with a last paper Support HP: HP PCI eSATA kit installation cable, that well that is not specific to your computer will give you an idea of how set up your eSATA support.

I hope that I have answered your questions to your satisfaction. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!

  • Pavilion Envy 700-074: enumerator Microsoft Bluetooth Code 10

I came across a problem with a yellow exclamation mark for Microsoft Bluetooth Device.  It shows an incomplete pilot.  I have read through the various errors and suggestions for other people on the forum, but it does not really my problem.  The first thing I did was uninstall the driver and the rebooth my computer, but the same error comes back and I can't find anything on the support page for my model.  The computer seems to work fine without this driver, but the exclamation point is indicating a problem.   Why I even checked my system is because my card reader quit working and I was trying to solve this problem when I discovered the error THE.  The card reader problem is always there as well.  For any help or suggestion would be appreciated.  I bought a card reader for the problem but I fear if something will follow other problems.

    NancyZ

I think I solved my problem.  10.0.10586.0 driver version refers to a mouse, but my mouse was very well so when I went in my devices to see what was hooked and am completely down he showed that a fitbit attached as "One" with a question mark next to it.  When I went into the properties he had nothing and he indicated was not connected because it lacked drivers.  I think it was a hold during a previous fitbit that I had connected but no longer use.  I just deleted the "one" and then restarted my computer.  He did not come back and in my sysstems the Bluetooth enumerator THE not displayed with a yellow exclamation point.  So far, everything seems to work on my computer.  In regards to my card reader, it is only the card compact flash that he can't read, but other cards can be read very well, so unless something happens that I think I'm okay just by using a card reader.
